we are a cpl but do/have also played as a single guy and single female.
When you see it in black and white on the face of it its not fair, but when you look at the reality of it from both a client and buisness point of view it makes sense to have tiered fee's. For a club to be successful for everyone it needs to have a decent amount of females. These females are single or part of a couple and by reduceing the entry fee's the club scene is more afforable and hence encourages the females to attend. Many clubs that did have a one fee policy found they had a club full of men...only realy any good if the men want to play with each other.
It makes sense in my head any how lol

Over the years because of my work, I’ve been in many threatening and at times dangerous situations with young people present and on my own. I have always managed to ensure everyone is safe from harm, myself included. Perhaps I’ve grown too confident? Or maybe as it was in another part of the country I’m not familiar with I thought it wouldn’t happen in such a quiet place. Or was I just unlucky that night?
I think in situations like that its easy to be caught off guard,after all who would have expected that situation ffs.
Ive spent years working with mental health clients who can quite often turn and become aggressive...but you are aware that it can and all too often does occur, so are in some way prepared and looking for the signs. I would also be aware that my clients are suffering from mental health issues and to expect the unexpected.
But how on earth can you have expected that situation to occur....in one answer you couldnt!
As for the rest thats just pants!! mad

Would I stop and help a woman (or anyone else) in distress again…… I would yes, but I would certainly do things differently if I have young people or children with me.

My opinion for what its worth....i lurked on here for a very long time before i parted with our money for full membership and joined up .
As a free member i would read the forums sometimes daily :thumbup: for them being very informative about the lifestyle and also on general topics too. But for a time i did find some of the posts almost aggressive towards other members posts, which made the site one that i wasnt sure i wanted to join. There seemed to be a pack instinict occuring and if one person jumped negativly on someones post the rest of the pack soon followed (just my opinion) I also saw some good post's be totaly ignored. Is that a clique?? dunno

I also witnessed alot of very open and honest people give their opinions,veiws, quite often with great passion despite it going against the greater number on the forum. They stuck their head out for what they beleived worship

The site has gone thro lots of changes and evolved,members left some returned and lots of new members have joined. This has made the site from my outsiders/newbies point of vue much more welcoming. The acid test come when i was offered a free 7 day trial full-membership(ty admin),i hesitantly jumped in and found on the whole most people were friendly and welcoming,not all but as has been said it takes time to strike up friendships with some people in any community. And of course as in RL your never been friends with everyone.
I personaly will chat,welcome because im not intrested in somebody as potential play partners that doeant mean to say i dont respect them as individuals and welcome thier veiws,opinion and friendship. Sometimes i think people may forget that its not just usernames but that their are people with feelings attached to them.
Im here to be me nothing more and nothing less,join in when i have something to add,meet people to have fun both sexualy and otherwise and hopefully not offend anyone in the process. Not everyone will like me on my posts,my appearance and many other number of possibles but i offer respect and have found i mostly get treated with such........
so all in all its not a bad place to be :thumbup:

I used to allways buy all my vibes,porn material (books,mags,dvd ect) lube and condoms online because i was :scared: and surprised

ops: to go purchase them face to face. I first decided that i was going to go in to a adult shop when i become so pissed off of the crap that was comeing thro my door,£50 vibes that were totaly useless and bad quality or just wasnt what i had dreamed of and expected :cry:
So i decided the only way to get what i realy wanted was to be able to see and feel the items first......going in to a adult shop :scared: :oops: :scared: . I must say i was shaking like a leaf as i walked thro the door but soon realised that it was unfounded,it wasnt filled with men in macs rotflmao

but had lots of diffrent people in there doing exactly the same as me and shopping for some sexy gifts. I came out proud as punch with a nice big bag of new toys ect. I havent looked back since and have no issue's at all now about going in to a adult shop :happy: :thrilled:

The strangest thing that happened to me in a swinging sense happened right as i started to become active in the lifestyle.
I decided to go along to a swinging group social meet in a pub, prior to this i had only met one fellow member attending :scared: It was a small localish meet and only 7 people attended. I didnt know anyone else there but had a great time chating with everyone and after we all kept in touch. I got on realy well with a couple that attended who also lived in my home town and after awhile we become good friends and arranged for the fem to come to my house for tea and cakey buns. My daughter had later arranged to go shopping with her bestfriend and her mum and was being picked up at exactly the same time as my new friend was to arrive :shock: The day came and i heard the door and went to answer it and saw my new friend and my daughters friend at the door together....i kinda panicd alittle smile

And wasnt listerning to what was being said as i was too busy trying to shuffle daughter and friend out the door redface

and something i have noticed, but i am wondering if others had......

but now with the example of "specific socials" (just an example "bbw socials" because there are 3 of them on the 1st page of "lets meet up" not just picking on them because for example i have seen "black on white" socials as well) has it gotten to the stage were we see more "specialist socials" take over from the all inclusive ones??? is it the case where they don't feel comfortable at munches......because as we have always said "a social is just a social" i don't see how this can be to the advantage of sh users in general.... for example one part of the site blocking themselves of from another, when we are one big swinging community......
A so called specialist social is the ideal way to meet large numbers of people that share a pacific intrest/like,they are going to be more likely to meet a larger amount of potential swing buddys with the same likes. I dont see how this can be a bad thing or detract from munches or other socials/events as these socials are open to anyone i beleive so not shutting themselfs off.
do for example the "bbw people" feel they don't belong at munches........if so why?
Can only speak for myself as a BBW and say that i have been to a munch,and did worry that i would stand out and not fit in as i am very concious of my BBW label. But would also like to say i had a ball at my first munch and found i was accepted for me and not my were people there of all and intrests and i cant wait till i have the time to get along to another munch.

Depends what the pacific social was but if it wasnt a social specific to something i def wouldnt be intrested in, then i may go along.

If it brings like minded people together i have no problem with specific socials. In my mind its no diffrent than having the other sections on this site ie: the dogging section.

I think when it comes down to the act of sex YES women do have the upper hand in both societies.
As in either there are far more single men that want nsa sex than women imho anyway.

In general I have to say that I probably wouldn't make initial contact with (what society deems) a stunningly handsome man for a few reasons:
1) I wouldn't have the confidence.
2) I would be wary of their attitude/personality. A lot of handsome men know they are handsome and arrogance isn't endearing.
If I get chatted up by someone I consider out of my league I am dubious about their motives-I am not expecting marriage but I want to at least feel fancied!
