:laughabove:
I'm so glad im not the only one that doesnt camp light!!
I said to russ last time we went camping "i want a rug for the tent" he looked at me as if i was loon, now i can point him to this and say see darkfire has carpet rotflmao :rotflmao:
We have 2 single burner camping gas stoves with spare canisters,1 small kettle,2 disposible BBQ's,a host of other stuff but still loads to get and do! Cant decide on a flushable porta loo or the lugable basic loo confused
Did already have 2 bottles of vodka stashed but got stressed and drank one last nite
If theres anything you want us to help out with or bring to "camp dark", let us know!
Nicky
I have always considered myself to be 100% straight, and have never felt attracted to a man in a sexual way. However, I have been swinging for quite a while now and have become perfectly comfortable in the company of naked men - I even once had a guy suck another guy off right in front of my face whilst I was fucking a woman, but it didn't put me off my stroke. I guess the familiarity and exposure to this makes one much more accepting of such things. In fact I have become so accepting that I have in fact wondered what it would be like to try some bi stuff. I still don't have any plans to do so - but if the opportunity arose and I felt the desire to try it at the time, I think I probably would, mainly just to see if I'm missing out on anything!

Lots of good advice coming thro from folkes here ,but i wouldnt be so bold as to say you are suffering from depression
There are lots of things that can possibly mimic depressive illness or be on the fringe of depression with out it being full blown depression dunno . In my opinon everybody will have been affected by the black dog of depression to various degrees at some point or another in there lifes,in todays day and age of stress ect it is becoming scarily normal. And as corny as it sounds seeing you have issues and wanting to change it, is the biggest and best step you can take kiss
This is just my personal opinon but CBT is a good way forward as it tackles our thinking in relation to our moods and depression, low self esteem, anxiety, panic attacks and a host of other feelings are all to do with mood, normaly low mood. I'm a firm beleiver that we all have the key to unlock our own low moods just sometimes we need to be shown the tools to help us, pills and potions have there place but without the person affected putting some work in they have limited effectiveness in what they can alone acheive especialy long term.
Its not a miracle cure for feeling low but definatly something worth trying as it can work long term in changing the way you think, which in turn will affect the way you feel.
You should be able to get CBT self help books from the library look for ones with work sheets you can scan and print out, these will help in the early days before you can run thro them in your mind from memory.
Good luck wayward, and i hope this passes quickly and you feel much better soon.

In that case then, can we come please? Coz that we just have to see :giggle: and we would love to help you celebrate your birthday. Could we have hotel/camping details too please.
Nicky & Russ
 Thought you ment my bum then!!! smile
Dont think it would be too obvious, only to them in know, and if they ARE in the know does it matter if they know dunno lol
Toilet tent is on its way, just need the toilet now
 At some stage in the evening the barmaid came out and said that we weren't allowed to be outside with glasses after 11p.m
Well this comment has me worried,it means someone has to stay inside to keep watch on the drinks!
A) To ensure they dont get nicked whilst unattended
B) To stop spiking (yes it does still happen)
My local is like a ghost pub, the publican has said his takings are seriously down. He also commented on his lack of enjoyment as when the hard and fast locals are venturing to the pub they are sitting outside,so he isnt getting to chat and be social!
So the smoking ban so far has had a huge impact on his livlyhood and his enjoyment of running his pub.
I dont see why they couldnt have a ventilated smokers area inside the pub seprate from the non-smoking area which either had no bar or one staffed by folk who opted out of the no smoking in the work place.
Lets face it if people can opt out of the EU working hours directive, i dont see why folkes cant opt out of the no smoking ban too!! aslong as all the non smokers are informed where the smoking area's are what's the problem?
Nicky
Now if i told ya what our STOAS was it wouldnt be a surprise would it :smoke:
Fook, we aint got no idea but its got to be stupid and will feature a stick, i think lol
I'm Spartacus!! :giggle:

7,8,and 9th would be a problem for us as we have booked to take kids camping last week in august  plus its right on top of the new school year,so 3 lots of new school uniform's,shoes ect so will be skint with a capital 'S' which means our prefrence would be for the 21,22,and 23 sept.

I love my tatoo's, i have two but have at least two more waiting to be done when i have the finances. I wanted tatoo's for years so thought long and hard before going under the needle.
How will i feel about them when im 70? my tatoo's are part of me and will age with me, lets face it if/when my arse gets droopy and is dragging across the floor it aint gonna be a good look with or without a tatoo!!
If you have any doubts dont do it, a tatoo is for life not just for christmas lol

I understand your frustration at wanting to jump straight in and attend a munch, but once you have been here for awhile you will understand that the rules are there to protect everyone, you the newbie included. Theres no rush take your time to look around the site read the stickys and get to know what swinging is all about.
A Munch is open to all - couples, singles, Gay, Bi, CDs, etc., there are no limits. The exception to this is thebrand new newbie, i.e. those who have just joined the site or have not been an active participant on Swinging Heaven. This is only to prevent gawpers, journalists and those who are just TOO curious. Remember, if you are keen to attend a Munch and meet other swingers, but are considered too new for this one, join in and keep posting because there'll be another Munch coming along shortly.
Taken from here http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/swingers-forum/viewtopic/132221.html
Relax, take your time and above all have fun.

Not going to do the names thing as im bound to miss someone, but a big thanks to you all as you made it what it was! to the next one!!!
Right off to catch up on some well needed sleep.
Nicky & russ

Almost all packed and ready to go, neighbours proberly think im doing a moon light flit with the amount of stuff im packing in to the car lol
Look forward to seeing you all there!
Nicky(& russ)
P.s
Bought a cheapo gazebo today so will bring that along too!
Hmmm, we were just thinking... If the weather is going to be wet it would be nice to have some places to shelter. We might go out and buy a cheap gazebo - the only problem is would that count as another pitch used and therefore we'd have to pay for it?
dunno

Hello lovely peeps kiss
Before I reply to individual parts of the thread I’d just like to say a couple of things, stop groaning at the back smackbottom
Firstly, many thanks to everyone who has, despite a lot of difficulties and last minute changes, decided to come along to this shindig, I’m sure we will have a great time with all of you there.
To explain what happened with the last site, basically they were a bunch of incompetents, Velvet did all the booking, she even paid the booking fee of out of her own pocket, a cheque which was cashed over a month ago rolleyes so Velvet, quite rightly assumed that the booking had been accepted. The sites head office however neglected to forward the booking to the actual site, hence the problems
Velvet, many thanks for all your stirling efforts, and if you have any problems at all with getting your money back, ring me and I’ll get it back for you
Special thanks have to go to the two wonderful ladies who gave me that last minute kick up the backside, encouraged me to keep it going, and simultaneously though separately came up with a few life saving ideas. Winchy and Sass, I owe you one wink
Thanks also have to go to all of you who have PM’d with offers of assistance and equipment, you know who you all are, heartfelt thanks to you all worship
Last Minute Questions
Some of you have PM’d with queries that we can hopefully solve in open forum so that everyone is aware of the result.
1) what time are people intending to arrive?
Couldnt change appointment so expect to arrive at around
I personally am hoping to get there around Friday lunch time as I do have a few last minute things to sort out in the morning.
2) what are we doing about cooking / food
We are happy to go with the flow and will be bringing a double gaz burner. But think communal cooking seems like a good idea as its more socialable.
Good point dunno as we are now able to have our own individual bbq’s / cooking facilities, do we still need to do the communal cooking / shopping thing?
My thoughts are that we have at least one communal BBQ where everyone chips in as this will help us all to get into the whole spirit of the thing, and for the remainder of the time we cook our own stuff? Your opinions please.
3) how many are staying both nights, how many just the one night. If only staying one night, which one?
Both nights for us
4) anyone who is travelling by train / coach and needs picking up, could you please let me have the details asap so that I can arrange transport
:bounce: not long now folks
Hi FB,
Could we have a handholder if possible please? As we were rather rabits in the headlights at the only other SH function we attended  and as the list has now gone cant see if there is going to be anyone attending that we may already know.
Thankyou,
Nicky

You might find this helps answer some questions as things are not always as simple as you might think
