actually i use that idea without the pins (just hold the corners with your hands). maybe it works better for me 'cos i've got a long reach.
or you could just set up a rota here on S.H. ... i'm sure you'll have plenty of volunteers to assist you with duvet changing, not to mention duvet messing-up.
