Hi, as one of the team who wrote the 2005 edition (with real pics not the placeholders it has now) I can confirm that I have shelved all plans for 2006 following the takeover. If anyone wants to start a 2006 one feel free, but I have removed all the pics and draft info from my PC as it was provided under a previous owner, and it did not feel right to keep it

This seems a personal thing from the site admin rather than a rule break or anything. Steph indicated she was asked to leave the site. Well SH admin if you want to shoot yourself in the foot don't let me stop you.
Steph is someone I consider a friend, but as can be seen from the tone of some posts she has some enimies here as well. However from what I know of her she organises a mean munch, looks out for newbees, and is generally a positive organiser in the community. So if you want her to go elsewhere then that is SH's loss.

As for STD's some clear up quite quickly with the right treatment, as long as you go get it. Others are lifelong, like herpes. However it is only contagious when the spots are showing. Obviously some others show no signs and are lifelong, like hepetitus and HIV.
Condoms a good start in protection, as I hear is a spermicidal lube. However for oral sex you may want to consider using a dental dam. As for example herpes is the same virus as cold sores, and you dont want it over your face. Lots of nasties out there but most can be treated / avoided if you are careful...
Well I would like to recommend the new durex condom... tingle. Mrs TnH prefers to use a condom for BJ and they apparently taste pretty good (for a condom). They have a mint flavour that also acts as a stimulant to both parties...
As for technique putting yourself in your partners shoes is step one. I have apparently wicked hands that get Mrs TnH to melt. Favourite trick is to stand her infront of me sitting. Actually Alpha is for testing a new product in the developers offices, and a beta would be letting it out to a limited number of customers at their sites for review.... Somthing that it would have been a very good idea for us to have done with this new site.
Leaves a few key questions
1. Beta Tests
Why was this not beta tested, even using just the mods as a test would have cleared up a lot of issues? They could have provided a lot of feedback.
2. Look and feel.
I saw one idea for the logo and nothing else. Could the membership not have been sent some screenshots of the ideas to soften the blow?
3. Bugs
You were redesigning a site with a multi thousand user base, yet there seems to have been no plan to handle the confusion and bugs this sort of change would cause. Would you rollout XP and Win XP to 5000 disparate users with no training on 1 night in the business world and not have a pre planned rollback and helpdesk policy? Here you rolled out to a lot more than that, yet the glitch thread was started by a member :shock:

Trying to update forum options. 2 issues seen. (So far, not really dug around yet)
Issue One
1. Click My Account
2. Click Forum Settings
Result: The 'Forum Settings' link jumps under the other 2 but I am not taken to forum settings
Expected result: Forum settings page would be displayed.
Note: Second time I click on it all ok. Also affects moving back to the Profile settings page.
Issue Two
1. Click My Account
2. Click Forum Settings (Twice as per above)
3. Click "always allow avatar" to "Yes"
4. Click "signature visible" to "Yes"
Result: Option marker moves from "always allow avatar" to "signature visible".
Expected result: Both option groups to act independantly
Notes In other words the "always allow avatar" and "signature visible" options appear to be mutually exclusive. The 4 option buttons act as 1 group not 2 seperate ones.

Lets face it, there is no going back... so lets see we are in the Beta phase, and a very public beta ;)

Well I am not for a list of banned members, but I know the board software (assuming we sticking with it after Monday but the idea still valid) supports a 'Banned' rank marker (the purple line showing posts).
Maybe a good solution is to use this to highlight perm and temp bans? We all have a persona on here, and if we abuse our position then will be publicly (as much as having an alias pulled up is public) blasted for it in the forums. If we really push it we will get banned and a lot of it goes behind closed doors (for good reason I know).
Now a simple BANNED / INACTIVE state means that the community can see quickly if a member is inactive. This way there is no 1 list of banned people, no overt naming and shaming needed as such. If you are running an event you can search on the persons username and get 'Banned' come back, rather than does not exist.

Not seen video booths, but there are some booths in london with real ladies on the other side of the glass in soho. However for anyone not after a rip off I would avoid soho like the plague anyway.
