Reminded by BIoke's cocktail thread - what are we having tonight?
The usual wines, beers and spirits are in. No doubt we shall have some outlandish cocktail requests so I have my cocktail book here and please feel free to request your own recipes.
Volunteers for waiting staff are always welcome. The uniform is as follows:
Ladies - short black, low cut dress, white frilly pinnie (i.e. French maid stylee) with fshnet stockings and heels.
Chaps - just a bartender's apron.
Now then - who's first?
Will
Right then, last orders! I have to be up at 5:45, so any more for any more before the shutters come down?
Will clears away the glasses and other debris and pulls the shutters down quietly so as not to wake Kaz who has a strangely serene and slightly pervy smile on her lips
Vodka babe - you're coming with me! :rascal:
Will
Unfortunately, I'm working on the south coast tomorrow - which isn't exactly round the corner from you!
Shame - I take it there would have been some 'payment in kind'? :rascal: :rascal:
Will
Hi Funlovers, Vodka and whatever-you-want coming right up.
Sausage and egg sandwich sounds delightfully decadent. You could be just my sort of people!
Will
OK, OK, so I know it's late and I don't come in here often enough but, as some of you know, I have a fairly hectic life outside of SH. However, I thought that, as it's a holiday weekend, we ought to have something of a party. Sooooo,
There a couple of barrels of real ale (Wadworth's 6X and Theakston's Old Peculiar to be going on with), plus some specialist bottled beers and, in the fidge, a choice of Italian and Mexican beers.
Speaking of the fridge, there is also some bubbly (both pink and white), New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, Sancerre, Chablis (the only Chardonnay worth drinking imho) and some Rose from the south of France.
For red wine lovers we have Argentinian Malbec, Australian Shiraz, Chateauneuf-du-Pape and Chilean Merlot.
There is also chilled vodka and gin - with equally chilled tonic, room temperature Glenmorangie, Laphroiag and Bush Mills.
There is also some Pimms and lemonade - just in case the weather should pick up a little.
Tomorrow morning there will be bacon and/or sausage sandwiches/baps and tea and coffee - though I may need a band of helpers to serve them.
As always, fondling of the staff is not only allowed but positively encouraged.
Now then, who's first?
Will
I've recorded it to watch later. I decided that although one of the twins (5 next month) would love it, the other one would be too scared - and I thought that the 3-year-old Will Jr was a little youg.
Can't wait to see the recording later.

The evening shift has officially started. Service may be a bit slow for the next hour or so as I am on cooking duty tonight, and Sappho was out all day today, so kid duty kept me occupied for most of the day. Soooo, help yourself to whatever you want. I'll be in to clear away th empties and join in the fun from around 9:30.
Will
*hangs up bartender's apron on the way out*
Sorry if the service has been a bit slow tonight.
Tune, I am sure that Sappho would be only too happy to oblige.
PK - Pink fizz with a reapberry - I like your style
mrnmrsermmm, sorry - too many consonants for me to handle  brandy sours on their way....
Will
PS Oi, Nola and Bloke - where are we with the Caiprinhas? * Will drums fingers impatiently - but ever so politely *
Oh yes ladies, room service is definitely included - especialy as business is a little quiet at the moment.
We probably ought to come back into the bar later, but that gives us a few hours. However will we pass the time?
Will
Splendid, sorry that you're poorly too! :therethere:
Hope you feel better soon.
Vodka babe, hope the coffee and sausage bap are to your liking. I tell you, making sausage and bacon baps as a naked chef can be a dangerous undertaking. The grill can spit in some VERY uncomfmortable places!
WIll - time to put the kettle on again
