It was about 7:30pm Friday eve...our entrance chimes rang. I opened the door to find one of our neighbors, Cassie, looking for Judi. Cassie and her hubby, Richard, are Court neighbors. In fact, they're ex-pat US like ourselves...here about 2 years...and to be honest having some issues away from home for such a long period. Unlike judi and I, they have an extensive family network back in The USA, and the related challenges being so far from home have set a pattern of some difficulty for husband and wife. our Court is occupied by about 20% of a US contingent here...business and professional folks. Likely some SH members who live in the Tunbridge/Kent area may NOW know where we live...but it's a gated community...doubt anyone reaching out that closely...;);) Cassie looked stressed...I invited her in...called out to judi...both gals retreated to our guest den. I gave the girls some breathing room, but my wife came out about 30 minutes later...asked, "Sweetie, would you select, open a bottle of wine for Cassie and me...perhaps two. Also, I'd love if you could allow us some private time and space to talk...maybe you can visit our club for a few hours..." Not a problem for me...I agreed to serve up the wine and go to the club for my dinner. Although, I had to note to myself, the usual reason Judi asks for "space"...is when she's looking at the space between someone's legs...!! Went to the club...not too busy...had dinner and few drinks...chatted with some other members and staff. I returned home about 1am...and realized Cassie was still there...in the guest bedroom. I went up to our master bedroom, and found Judi at bedside...she had apparently just come out of the shower...still drying her locks of hair. Off to the side closet I recognized Cassie's slacks and sweater top hanging neatly...and not missing too much...on my wife's bed stand I saw, folded, a bikini panty and sports bra...NOT my wife's! They obviously belonged to Cassie! I asked Judi if all went well. My wife briefly explained the issues Cassie was having with her husband, and their plans to remain here another year. She wants to return US by December at latest. The 'conflict' has created issues in their marriage, and things going on at her husband's office Cassie wasn't too pleased. I didn't ask for any more...Judi was volunteering quite a bit. My wife sat with me at edge of bed...in her evening slip...I had just changed into my robe. She smiled...kissed me for a few moments...said, "Dear, thank you for allowing us some privacy...Cassie and I really appreciated. In fact, I believe you can now really help more...communicating and making contact with Cassie..." I had no problem with that...suggested that when we're all up in the morning, I'd take the girls out for breakfast and we'd chat further... There was a bit of a pause...Judi took my hand and said..."Why don't we go the guest bedroom now...I'd like you to help Cassie tonight...I'll be there with you...we can both assist her...I think she'd appreciate our attentions..." Perhaps so late in the evening I was a bit dense or tired...BUT I understood my wife's request very quickly...and just as quickly I smiled and agreed...we both walked down to the guest room...!!
