Ive got such a serious question to ask all of you............................................
Why does Coke spill when you open it but Lemonade never does (especially the bottles) dunno
And another thing,i don't know how many of you will know this but the post mix packs of diet coke (the packs that they use in pubs) are lighter than normal i know that its diet but come on surely that won't really affect the bloody weight of the pack confused: :?:
BTW i expect a reply from everyone or i'll get really upset

Because for some daft reason the coke bottles seem less sturdy... like the plastic is thinner or something.... coke bottles bend easier than lemonade ones :twisted: :twisted:
I suppose the fact the postmix pack is lighter must mean that they realy do take the suggar out of diet coke!!

Right to prove my point i want everyone to go and buy one two litre bottle of Coke (any brand) and one two litre bottle of Lemonade(any brand,but non fizzy..only joking).Then take said bottles shake them a bit (only a bit mind)then open them at exactly the same time,and tadaaa the Coke will spil,but the Lemonade won't.
This is your homework for the evening,report your findings back to me at 07:00

That is because coke is more highly carbonated than lemonade is... which basicaly means it has more stored fizzzzz
To realy perform an accurate test you would need to ensure consistant shaking rolleyes :roll: of the bottle... which would suggest you need an expert in the field of fizzy bottle shaking :twisted: preferably one that knows how to make it squirt in the right direction :shock:

You need a lower volume of mix because you only need 1/1000 the amount of sweetener compared to sugar for the same 'sweetness', and sugar is the main ingredient in the mix.

Can't help with the original question but you know wjen you pour a fizzy drink (for the kids) and it fizzes up and spills. Well; if you stick your finger in the glass, it will only fizz to the top of the glass.
