There are plenty people out there in the forums who SEEM to spend a lot of their time causing arguments where none exist, pick at comments, twist comments and seem determined to 'win' at any cost. No amount of reason works (see my signature for my long held views on this type of person) and, of course, all forums attract them cos they can hide behind a PC screen.
I'm a member of a few other boards (non-swinging) which should be, on the face of them, friendly and all working towards a common aim - same thing happens there. One person says something, another wants an explanation (usually when sitting on a soap box) and then the whole thing explodes! The howling pack gathers to add to the argument (tent circling then takes place) and suddenly it's world war 3 again. People try to bully others, when it doesn't work they complain of being bullied and so it goes on.

ive been here a few years now, ive met a few of the forum users and those who go into the chat rooms.
i hope im always true to myself in here as i woud be in real life. Maybe due to the fact i dont only use this site as a internet thingy, but meet people who use the site, then i would never say things thinking its safe to do so as i never have to face them.
i have read controversial threads and kept out of them but enjoyed them as it allows me to open my mind and see things from other peoples view point.

Fem, if people are having a go at you in PM, report them - they need to know that they can't bully people in that way. Let's be honest, they're taking the coward's way out by having a go in PM aren't they?
I've been warned by people not to post in their threads (unless I agree with them, in which case I'm allowed an opinion
), but I report them and post where I want anyway. I'm sure if I break the AUP, someone like a moderator or admin. will make me aware of that.There is so much truth in the response to this post.
