Steveg does it again! (Medieval Banquet)

A HUGE thanks to Steve for organising a fantastic event for us all. It was great to meet up with some of you guys again, and as always wonderful to meet those we hadn`t previously, as well as be able to show off the male half of VenusnMars smile

Libra, ta for the shirt hun, I`ll get it back to you asap, it really topped off my costume, it was great to be able to finally speak to you, and I didn`t have any trouble with you accent at all, honest! lol

Jiggle, Mrs FC and Chris, (from Molly and Chris) and others of you, thank you for taking the time out to chat to Mars, he was finding it hard to dive in with the crowd cos he`s deaf in one ear and can`t hear well in crowds, it was great to see him happily chatting with you when he was far from the madding crowd! It was also wonderful to find out who `the guy in the checked` shirt was biggrin

Molly, thank you for allowing me to dispose of the alcohol you weren`t able to drink because you were driving. It`s a dirty job, but someone had to do it!
Ice, you had me laughing more than once, but your Ken Dodd moment was the best, you daft bugger! Ta for the badge, it had `Lady` printed on it. WTF were you thinking?! :shock:
Marcuso, nice to meet the female half of Comparison, she seems like just the woman to keep you under some sembalence of control. Good luck with that girl!
Mr and Mrs TNH, always nice to catch up with you both. It`s been too long. We should rectify that.
Vix, you are without a doubt a gobby slapper. I love you. Reese, you make a wonderful dance pole, just don`t tell Steve, I got a slap from him when I tried poledancing around the candelabra, I don`t think me progressing onto people was quite what he had in mind! :lol:
JasnTim, always a pleasure. Tim was a damn hero managing to get through the night as well as he did after a night shift, but not only did he get through, he was also as entertaining as ever, you should have sold tickets Jas. Pudding was nice too girl wink

Fred and Mr FC, my hat is off to you both. Those women are without a doubt mad. You cope admirably.
Angel, so glad I was able to chat with you without a shovel in hand :lol: you are one of the SH crowd I got to know from way back, and I love catching up with you, you looked fantastic.

Highlights of the evening-
That moment at our table when one of the serving wenches asked where we were from.

`Oh! :shock: I`m not even going to pursue the question` :shock:
That moment during the entertainment when one of the players mentioned `whips`, and the entire side of the banquet hall containing the SH members just roared! :rotflmao:
To those who worried about me when I was found meandering around the estate trying to find Mars and the car, thank you, you were so sweet to worry. I found him eventually, thank you for insisting you walk with me until you were sure I was safe. :inlove:
There were so many of you I wanted to say goodbye to properly. Sorry I missed you, I was so busy trying to find Mars so he could say goodbye too, most of you had already started making your way back to your hotels sad

No matter, I`ll get you all another time! :D

Thank you very much Steve we had a really good time and i was so pleased when they gave us a dagger and a fork to eat with with the main course.
Lovely to see everyone again and meet new people.

Firstly i would like to say a big thankyou to steve........it was brilliant......well done and thankyou for allowing us to cut our munching teeth on the banquet wink

Mr and Mrs Fecklebird.......thankyou for being 'our point of contact' although it wasn't needed, it was really appreciated that you were there if needed. Obviously the minute we walked through the door and people were asking for my t*ts it was a sure thing we were amongst friends...... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
Everyone looked gorgeous and was so friendly, and i'd like to say a big thankyou for making us feel welcome. It was lovely to meet everyone so I won't name names,otherwise i'll miss someone out, I think I said hello to everyone.
As for the chicken fillets.........i'm thinking of auctioning them of for Vix's charity, let me no what you think......they even have Ice's DNA on them :wink:

It was a brilliant night, and the outfits were fantastic silly

hwoar: It's a shame I was so tired, but it didn't stop me from enjoying the night - must admit to being quite glad to have missed dessert though..... food fights really aren't my thing rolleyes

I'm too tired to even start naming names but just have to point out that MrsFC was trying to take Wilma's role at the end of the night - I quite like being "Miss Angel of Chat" though so managed to keep hold of my badge :lol2: Thanks to Nice Pie for those ;) kiss

I've heard a rumour that Steveg is thinking of resigning from organising nights out now. Let's hope it's just a vicious rumour though because last night was, as always, a top class event. Thanks again Steve worship

Hello All.
a Big thank you to SteveG.. Yet again a great one.. it was a great venue and brillant night.
origanally my plans for yesterday evening was to sit in front of the PC all night and do my usual. but thank you to Sarah1448, Ian & Dawn for twisting my arm into coming to this bash.
a Big thank you to count & countess Ian & dawn of mids, for making sure i got there safely and got home safely too. Dawn you lookg great in your dress.. not sure what the offical term for it is... and ian, you going to save your outfit for another time, or make use of the chees grating bilo pad!!... lol lol!!!
was great to see Alex_fem & dave Nott again... watching you two and dawn walk acorss the car park was very enjoyable indeed.
right i'm gonna try and remember everyone name i spoke to. but please forgive me if i leave anyone out!
Ice Pie- i loved the personiled ID bages. they must of taken you ages to do.. you'll have to PM that swinging arms so i can put it on my Signiure
Jas & Tim. was nice to see you.. (jas) i think you have inveted the first underplanked bra.. but i'm not too sure it will take off!... splinters might cause irriation... but then again what an escuss for a feel!

What a great nite we both had. The day started with trying to get Alex a costume, and all the laughing we did. The day was the start of the fun and it carried on until the evening. Once again, it was a good to see old and new faces again.

Well done yet again Steve. :thumbup:
It was a truly inspired idea, great crowd and the best fun I've had while clothed for a very long time. biggrin

I was really impressed by all the costumes, especially "Lord" TnH, who didn't let the minor disadvantage of turning up without one stop him. :D
As always it was lovely to catch up with old friends, and to meet a few people for the first time. The size of the group meant I got to talk to just about everyone, which was brilliant - I still love the really big munches and the small intimate meets for different reasons, but I can see medium sized gatherings like this one becoming very popular.

Cheers Steve, we had a great night.
I came home sporting a black eye and a sore bum and a very wet dress dunno

Now I know the sore bum was from trying to sit on that stone thingymajig next to Steveg and as I couldn't bend very well, trussed up in a corset, I sort of landed hard and knocked over a glass of wine hence the wet dress.
The black eye I think is from Jas when we were pratting about on the dance floor but don't worry I'll get her back :sparring: :kick:
I did get away with one badge but had been threatened with the stocks if I stole anymore. :shock:
Brilliant to see old faces and a few new ones. I think we proved we can behave in public and have a purely social gathering innocent

ive been to 3 events organised by the god that is SteveG (NW munch 3 , blackpool & this one). and all have be really good events.
