Well, i'm a hamster, but I have a high profile job within the Ministry of Rodents so I wear a bunny costume in order not to be recognised... I've no idea who the other ugly git is who has hijacked my ad but he seems to enjoy digging holes which is an almost hamster like trait so he can't be all bad. smile

Hello to you all.
I recently became a member of SH, and I recieved some very warm and encouraging replies to my first post... so many thanks to all who took the time to say Hi.
Since then i've been keeping my powder dry and watching what has been said on the Forum, and basically getting a feel for the etiquette within the community.
One thing that has struck me is how tight everyone is (easy!), and there is a definite feeling of community which is inspiring.
At first that felt quite daunting, but I suppose it's as much up to us newbies to get involved as it is for the existing members to open up (no, missus).
The first thing i did was get myself an ad with some decent pics, and then I sat down for a good while and thought about what I really want from this, and what sort of person/s I woud like to meet. This wasn't as easy as you'd think at first, and you need to be really honest with yourself about why you're here.
I found that reading up on some of the documents in the advice section really helped with putting together my ad, and although most of it seemed like common sense, it was still useful having some kind of framework to work within.
Now, as a single guy on here I knew from that start that I would be handicapped somewhat but I now feel that my ad says exactly what I want it to, and hopefully that will mean that any reponses I get are going to be of a high quality and pretty much already qualified.
This assumption has already been tested and so far proved right. I recieved a reply from a young lady looking for an exploratory partner... she is attractive, intelligent and above all as keen as I to find out what's on offer and how far we are prepared to delve into this world. We are meeting in a few days time and i'm already tingling with anticipation.
So, what's the moral of the story?
I'm just a lucky bastard... wink

Seriously, i'd say that for all the newbies out there, don't rush into this, take your time and understand the 'ground' before deciding which path to take.
As I wrote this it reminded me of an old story about two bulls in a field on top of a hill. Below them is a field of cows gently eating the grass. The young bull spots that the farmer has left the gate open and he turns to the older bull and says... " Hey look, the gate's open, let's run down there and fuck one of those cows". The old bull looks up and says to the younger bull "no, let's walk down and fuck them all" lol

I've spent a few hours now trawling back through the ads and I can't find the original ad I responded to. The advertiser was based in Deal in Kent and is called Jacqueline... I hope that helps.

Apologies if this is defined as promoting an alternative site on SH but i'm just looking for advice smile

Hello all...
As a newbie I just wanted some advice... I recently replied to and ad on SH and this morning I recieved a mail from the lady in question directing me to the following site...

I've had a look and it appears to be very well populated, but they ask for a Â£5 subscription fee. I'm not averse to paying that for quality however I don't want to be led up the garden path so to speak.
Anybody had any dealings with this site before... the people on there all seem to be quite fit and attractive (that's why i'm suspicious... cynical me!)
Anyway, any info appreciated.

Awh guys, I'm starting to blush!
Well, thanks for the heads-up... I'm not sure about the Sombrero and Tuesdays thing but maybe all will become clear in the fullness of time.
What i'm hearing is that a Munch is the way to go so i'll find out when my next one is and mosey down.

Hi everyone.
I have been pointed in the direction of this site by a female friend and her b/f who have had alot of fun on here in the past.
I'd like to initially say hi and thanks to anyone reading and also to ask a few newbie questions.
Firstly... I'm not really looking for tons of casual sex. I'd be more interested in finding a female (pref inexperienced like myself) seeking a male to go to parties etc as a couple. Or, alternatively, and experienced couple prepared to take me under their wing so to speak and guide me along the path.
Am I in the right place? I'd be keen to differentiate myself from the crowd so what tips could people give? I.e what's the best type of photo to have on the site etc.
Thanks again... hopefully I can get the hang of this and start contributing in a positive way to the community.
