I dont know nowt about em really .....but I know I like the effect they have!
while not at work (where I cant access my phone easily so dont bother giving my number out usually) I've been 'enjoying' (that's somewhat of an understatement lol ) some very interesting texts from someone who is effectively testing out Pavlov's dogs theory on me

but I also love it when comedians take an everyday mundane situation and dissect it for the humour content.

Blimey, what a time for this thread to pop up agian.
She died on the Monday after posting this thread & I never did get chance to say my piece before she slipped into morphine-induced oblivion. Wish I'd never gone, tbh, but I wont remember her like that.
What I will remember is a woman with courage & conviction of her beliefs, a fighter, with a fire in her more bright than mine will ever be, the stalwart of the family who would never allow herself to be a doormat, pander to the demands of others, or compromise her principals to fit in with other's expectations & who held her head high regardless of what life threw her way and stuck two fingers up at the world & what was considered the 'acceptable way' on an almost daily basis lol This woman had wings ffs! great big diamond tipped titatium things that would wrap protectively around those who needed them without want of thanks or anything back in return - in all, a truly formidable woman who earnt and deserves my utmost respect and warmest affections. RIP.
Influential? not half! I hope the footprints she left on me help me walk in her shoes one day.
I dont care if my dentist pisses in the sink, as long as he takes this bloody tooth out he can do what the hell he likes lol
its usually when a thread is posted and the initial post is crafted sufficiently to pose a genuine question, but it is not as well recieved as the thread starter might have liked it to be, or worse, offensive to some people by its content, so to avoid confrontation or a blip in their 'popularity' they U -turn & say it was a joke really and the whole thing was just a bollox thread for bollox sake.
Quote by Drewxcore
Its a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thats the point of it

I'm not buying that. Its one of the best examples of a U-turn thread I've seen for a long time.
Shame Drew's 2000th post was wasted on pointing out the bleeding obvious

its even more of a shame that people are counting.

Oh but all's well that ends well eh?
Good job it wasn't a newbie or less popular member who posted it as they would've seen much less "sweetie bollox" and a whole lot more criticism and locking.
Oooops - missed an emoticon! There ya go - rolleyes

Must agree I mean if newbies or less popular people make mistakes we should really lay into them and give them a dam good pasteing. By defanition I probably am a less popular member and agree that me and all the newbies shouldent piss in your playground.
Now just to add one of these rotflmao and now its funny lol
wtf? dunno
moi? lol
I dont have that 'power' here Dollop I'm afraid - I'm the gobby twat no one pays attention to cos they know one 'shag me' pm and I run off crying for me mam
it works a treat with this poor lad though...the whole low-cut V neck jumper and leaning right into the trolley to retrieve said cucumbers...placing them gently on the belt and running my finger nail along one of them while looking him straight in the eye as he watches, terrified :giggle:
 Evil? I dont know what you mean! innocent

I pretty sure the threads about non sensicle (sp) song/hymn lyrics
Not the kind of thread i would normally reply in but the fact it seems to have risen backs up i just had to
The fact it had no emotes has just mad people question what it was about.

But the words are not nonsensicle (sp lol) are they, the majority are metaphors from a poem, quite rightly highlighted by Mike_North as being penned by William Blake.
but I'm still questioning the purpose of the thread, simply cos I dont get it dunno
I had hoped people could cope with just words

evidently not wink
Well, there is one thing that is guaranteed about this Forum and/or emailing/texting.. not everyone can interpret what people are aiming at by words alone AND it would be a boring world if we all agreed, so.... on this occasion as I find hymn a very emotive subject, I'll sit back and watch the banter..

well I'll just ask the obvious then lol
what exactly is this thread about? I'm lost dunno I dont read you well at all Drew but am sat here scratching my head over this one confused
was it intended as tongue in cheek?
was it a dig at the hymn itself but then you thought better of it?
I'm confused
or is it just a bollox thread with no purpose having originally had one but done a U turn on it :dunno:
just me I think, unless we can get a sitter closer to the time
well, playinglady, despite the grammar errors and lack of punctuation, to me you sound like you're on one, well and truly fucked off with the 'quickshag brigade' - and my answer to this is simple: it will cause offence to some but you're hanging out in the wrong place. With a name like "playinglady69", especially in the chatrooms, you are bound to get unwanted attention from those who are here thinking its a quick-shag site, your name itself will be seen as an open invitation to all & you are going to get chancers and twats pm'ing you all the time, because that's what they do!
You dont strike me as aggressive tbh , you're just trying to put across how pissed off and frustrated you are that people dont fookin read before messaging you!
My advice - shorten it, dont keep adding bits every time someone pisses you off or try to make a dig at people in your profile on the offchance they'll read it - they wont. 9 times outta 10 they dont come back for a second look. Start afresh - keep the details about age limits, your preferences and specific wants, everything else is jargon imo which can be deleted just as unwanted pm's can be wink
I very very rarely get 'hassle' in pm anymore - tbh I dont even get the pm's I'd really like lol but that's because i'm fairly well-known, as are my thoughts - and most people wont touch me with a bargepole rotflmao but I do get what I want from this site & lifestyle
keep your profile / ad info to a minimum, specifying exactly what you want and delete anything that arrives in your pm box that doesnt match your wants and needs, Ruthless, but effective,
i like reducing him (bless lol) into a quivering wreck while trying to serve me, its so obvious what's going through his head :lol2:
you're not doing anything wrong
I sneaked a peek at your profile, it clearly shows you are only looking for single fems (no other options ticked)
but it may also help you to fill in the 'message' area of your profile with a bit of info about you - most people use that to specify (again) what they are or are not looking for. A polite reminder that you are only looking for bi-single fems might be good - but it wont stop those you dont want simply viewing your profile (they have to view it to know that info in the first place! lol) - but like I say, you can block particular categories from actually messaging you. wink
Hiya wave
I dont think you can stop anyone looking at your profile unless they already have done & you then add them to your 'ignore' list ....but I dont think this actually makes them unable to view you, they just cant contact you  lol
Similarly, you can tick the options in 'my settings' which block pm's from particular categories (ie: fems, couples, single males) - they'll still appear on your 'who's viewed us' list but you wont be able to see their pm if they contact you.

hope that helps wink

I regularly buy two cucumbers in my local supermarket and the poor lad on the till goes a lovely shade of red everytime I go in redface lol - what makes it worse is I really do have to stand there and feel them, checking for firmness - one for the gineau pig and the other we like slightly over 'ripe' as it gets peeled for the fish :giggle:
I havent told the lad at the till that yet though :giggle:

I have a friend who has cheesy chips and mayo when she's been drinking ...

That's mine! lol - there's a really naff takeaway in Mansfield where we sometimes go out vanilla style, the type of place you wouldnt touch with a bargepole ordinarily, but after a good night on the lash with the girls, its tradition! cheesy chips with garlic mayo in the taxi queue while moaning about sore feet and that mingin bloke ya mate pulled earlier rotflmao
If its not Mansfield, its just toast at home or a plain nan attempting to soak up enough JD to totter home, zig zag style :rotflmao:

I certainly have sent a couple in my time on here, but it normally is just tongue in cheek type stuff....
Usually followed by a reply talking about the weather or some such thing.
Now, obviously it should go without saying that if anyway does want to practise writing naughty pm's then I dont mind being the victim redface

maybe if people think yours are just tongue in cheek they dont need to send one back?
brings a whole new visual dynamic to the ebb and flow theory doesnt it!
