Too many times I've retorted rather strongly back to someone who then claimed "sorry, I'm new".

Wise words there, I couldn't agree more with you. I have found this site to be a mine of friendly people, with wit and many other qualities besides.

you're banking for nothing on the revenues generated by other people that slip up here and there... get sold a "payment protection scheme", get divorced and lose out, get sick and behind on payments or some other misfortune that happens because "shit happens". don't think it's totally because we're useless or a scumbag... it's just life.

Same as other mail really, used to frequent the laybys and country parks in the Barnsley, Wakefield, Leeds areas around 2001 - 2004 and they also now seem either unused or closed off completely.
There was one couple in particular that was always out that I got to be good mates with but lost their number, would be great to hear from anyone that could help me out with where people go now, and in particular this one couple. Seems like the dogging around Hull area has really dropped off since last year. I think that the problems around the known laybys on the road to Brid' from both police and boy-racers have pushed some people away... but it's totally dead
The road from East Hull to the coast had 3 really good laybys and the roads around Market Weighton had some places too... is there a new spot that I don't know about or has everyone knocked it on the head?
Interested to know, and also to catch up with some folks I knew from there previously.
Anyone shed any light?
