Don't get me started...I'll be here all day wink

Nodding... Can you see us getting into an endless spiral of grammaticosyntactical pedantry? I can! What fun would that be! Time-consuming, though, better book a day or two off just in case.
Though I WOULD like to know what a split infinitive is, and why it is so EVIL. (Feel free to PM about it - though I won't reply ;) )
'To boldly go' is an example of a split infinitive. You put an adverb between 'to' and the verb. Who says it's evil?

If someone contacts you, how difficult is it to say 'no thanks' rather than to show ignorance and just ignore them?
I posted an advert and got a reply from a couple. I answered them last week and have not received a reply, not even a 'no thank you , we are no longer interested'!
Are all swingers ignorant bastards?

Well as you're on here, I'll assume you're a swinger - so, you tell us. Are you an ignorant bastard?

It gives a false impression to new members and encourages them to join in the hope that there are nearly 1.5 million members when in truth there is nowhere near that amount. Having been a member on here for 9yrs a lot of people I have been in contact with no longer come on SH even though there membership is still viewable. Think it is rather naughty of SH because if people thought there was only say for example 3/4 million members they might not join.

Actually, I don't think the size of the current membership matters in terms of attracting new members. After all, the number of members when we joined, was pretty insignificant when you look at the numbers now and it didn't stop us from joining.
I couldn't have sex with someone unless I fancied them. So yes, for me it's a requirement.

Lol this thread went off on a tangent (Dr Who), then to naughtiness and back to subject...love it :-D
Us oldies may not be completely focussed on the intended task, but God isn't it great to let your mind wander and have FUN!!! ;-)
Thanks to all contributors.....
Pam xx

It really couldn't stay on topic with all the oldies on here, they can't remember who they are half the time, or what they're doing here! Some of them are very naughty too and need smackbottom lol
*FB still glowing*

It's okay - old people are allowed to make occasional grammatical errors. It's they're age you know?!

Well, given that I turned 35 last birthday, I can't say I've ever felt old on the swinging scene.
I kinda liked it when I turned about 32 and all of a sudden hot young men were interested in me as an 'older woman' :rascal: I must say, I've "appreciated" wink there youthful vigour and enthusiasm lots since!
:welcome: to the forum.
x

 their!
And Pam, I'm 47 and got married on 7th. January to a man I met on SH who is 42 - we have no problems smile

So do you think EDL and LUAF marches should be allowed to go ahead, or any similar protests/marches ?

Do you?

Before and after that he cocked it up monumentally and then followed the comically observed and ironic Italian propency to run. No doubt the WW2 jokes about Italians will be being revisited as we speak.

Being Italian isn't a race, they are a nation. And history acknowledges too-hots sentiments.

She's not a size six if she has a 36DD chest!
And she does look like mutton dressed as lamb, in my opinion. My daughter is 21 and married, but she would not go out of the house looking like that.
Lots more people using the forum to moan, makes it negative anyway.
I get what I want from the site, so I'm happy.

Something that made me smile all of yesterday and will do for a very long time to come, is spending an amazing day, with fantastic company, helping some very special friends celebrate a very important event.
Still got a tingly feeling and a massive silly grin on my face.

Same here biggrin

I would be interested to know members views on the above.
I know throughout history this has not been uncommon amongst all levels of society. Given the propensity for 3 somes amongst members, would they consider this as a permananent arrangement?
Are there any members that live this way?

Tried it, didn't work. My ex-husband now lives with the other woman.
I was absolutely gutted/distraught/insert other bad adjectives. However, I met someone else and we're getting married in January. So, all's well that ends well smile
:bounce:

Dave_Notts
