We have only rarely been on the receiving end (no pun intended) of unwanted advances. Maybe its the Geordie accent, does "oh yes, your welcome" sound like "feck orf" to Southerners?

Srne,
Yes, I agree with you and know there is no chance of the Gov backing down, but the point of the thread was not to argue the rights and wrongs, but have a laugh by changing some famous quotes.
John
The smoking ban in Pubs is really hurting a few people we know (as a non-smoker, don't care), so much so that one is semi-seriously think of some form of Political campaign to get it recinded.
Always one to help him out, and take the piss at the same time, I have come up with a few "altered" parts of speeches that he could use.
"One small dogend for man, one giant roll-up for mankind"
"I have a..cough....cough...cough...dream"
"We shall light them on the beaches, we shall light them in the fields, we shall light them in the pubs, the clubs and the football grounds, we shall never stub them out"
"Ask not what a tab can do for you, ask what you can do for a tab"
Any more offers?

A profile which looks great, becomes more great if they live within say 100 miles of us.

Bugger - we're 105 miles away! sad
Sorry, I was a bit vague in the mileage criteria. Should have read "becomes more great if they live within say miles of us" biggrin

Awwww does this mean we have to move to the N-East to get an invite ? lol

No, but you do have to be fluent in Geordie smile

Location!! OK we're not wanting to see someones postcode, but a general area would be nice.
A profile which looks great, becomes more great if they live within say 100 miles of us. But if they live in Dorset, it would be really difficult to meet them.
Other than that, some details about themselves and a few pics are the icing on the cake.

I want to win millions on the lottery
guess we both will miss out wont we. rolleyes
Vicky, the odds on you winning the lottery jackpot are about 14 million to 1 (for one line entry), whereas Swinginpete may have odds much greater than that of getting what he wants on here.

Shel orgasms very easily, from just about any form of simulation.
Downside to that is, if we're with another couple, I can hear Shel coming, then coming then coming again, meanwhile I'm giving it all I've got with the other woman, then looking at my watch, perhaps looking at a calendar, wondering what I'm doing wrong. Usually manage to get her there in the end tho biggrin
John
We have and can recommend it totally. They have a website, may even be a link to it on this site.

Come on S & T, you don't think Staggy would wear that shirt twice do you? Surely not even he would dare that! My retinas are just starting to recover now.

I think a thread like this needed every few months just to remind people that the risks still exist.
Our stance on this is; as we are softswingers we don't do penetrative sex, if we meet new people at a club we are touching only. If we meet people and can chat with them and weight them up then we do oral if they seem "sensible", but for the men its condoms even for that, with the female then we don't use a dam, so that is our "risk"
With people who are long term close friends the condoms are not used, again that is our "risk".
We recognise that we are not totally safe but we have balanced the risk against the fun we have and settled on that.

We have never watched BB or any or the varients. Rather watch a wild life program about Chimpanzies, actually get more intelligence from the Chimps.
As to people who say its interesting to watch diverse group of people in an enclosed situation. That might have been true if the "contestants" who picked at random. They are not, they are picked by psychologists to give the result that the production people require. You get a truer version of people interacting on a late night bus!

We're going to Chams for the first time on Sat 30th, so say hello if you see us. Shel should be wearing titty pretties, as in the picture on our profile, so if you see a woman with glittery tits, thats us.
You know its couples only in the evening don't you (saw on your profile you are looking for single guys), but single men can go in the afternoon.
Wondering if Dave_Notts is available as a travel consultant?
John & Shel
If its something REALLY different which involves an extra cost and it appeals to us, yes we'd pay. Trying to think what might be "different", well a bouncy castle foam party with a jelly and cream food fight afterward could work! lol
But plain and simple socials are just as much fun. For instance, few months back went to a small social / munch on Teeside, just a hired room in a pub, no dj, no buffet, but we had an absolutly great time. Glass went round to pay for the room.
Vicky's NW Munch in Feb and the Wigan Munches, DJ, very small contribution required, but again great time.
So I think what we're trying to say is; if people are organising something, don't be "Beverley Hills" and try and out-do the one before, plain and simple works as well as it always has.
John & Shel
If it was something "out of the ordinary" such as hiring a yacht (wow), then would have no problem with splitting the cost.
For a social type meet, we'd expect the costs to be kept to a minimum, but enough so that the organiser does not lose money, ie by all means have a disco, but don't need Fat Boy Slim to do it!
Hiring a swingers club? Would have thought that a group going to a big club like Xtasia could stick by themselves rather than hiring the whole place. Some of the small clubs would probably hire you the place for less than normal entrance fees if the group was big enough.
John & Shel
We think its a great place, often drive down for a Sunday afternoon, just go, you'll enjoy it.

At the risk of being simplistic, would it not be an idea to let one NHS Hospital, as an experiment, run itself with a "Works Committee" in charge?
IE, give it the same budget as this year, same targets, but instead of being run by "Managers" let a Committee made up of staff reps from all depts, from cleaners to consultants make the decisions. Any money left over at end of year is split between staff as a bonus, or to hire more staff, or mixture of both. That might encourage everyone to work together.
John
is washday still a monday???

Of course, thats the day you can't drive down the back lanes because of the washing strung out drying.
