There are many types of club, all with a different feel, there are loads of posts on these boards about clubs. Different people all have there own favorites depending upon what they look for in a club.
Maybe if you have never been to a club before, you should both discuss your requirements, such as would she be happier at a couples only night? Do you want a lavish club with a nightclub type feel, or would you prefer a smaller more intimate club but with less facilities? Do you mind travelling to a club which might involve a hotel stay overnight?
Best thing perhaps is to look a various clubs webistes and make a choice from them. If you need help finding the websites you can pm us.

Don't know if this is the norm at Munches, only been to two so far, but at the NE Munch in Oct, Fabio held a collection with the proceeds going to charity.
Is there a similar thing planned at this Munch? Or seeing as it is a Pirate theme how about some form of mock auction of the Pirates or something similar to raise a few bob for Children in Need or some other charity?
Probably some other people on this site could come up with good ideas along those lines?

We would estimate that if we send out 10 replies to ads we have seen we would be lucky to actually meet up with 1 or 2 couples from that.
Mostly for us the timewasting is all in the emailing, some couples just don't reply, some reply then won't or can't chat on phone, some will chat on phone then can't make a meet etc.
However, once having made firm arrangements for a meet we have rarely been let down. We usually arrange to meet people in a swingers club or in a pub somewhere near a swingers club so that way if the other couple don't show up then we just have fun in the club.

Makes us laugh when you see consectutive adverts from the same people saying totally different things, noticed one today;
first one was....blah blah blah......we are softswingers keep ultimate for ourselves.
immediatly followed by another advert from same people......blah blah blah..........full swap, same or seperate rooms.
Perhaps they had their first full swap in the 20 seconds before posting the second add?

You know, a lot of the people are worrying about what the new owners will do to the site!
If we can get Martin and Elliott and the rest to a few Munches might to turn out that we can ASSIMULATE them. Resistance is futile!!

Working for a Company which was taken over by another Company a few months ago, I have a feeling of deja-vu.
We had the same fears, New Company will wreck OUR way of doing things, we'll all be sacked within a month etc. Didn't happen!! Life goes on much as before.
Probably it will be the same here!! Look at it this way, we all have to go to work for the money, so we put up with the crap. But the only thing which keeps us on this site is the other members.
If this site became crap we could all leave, the regulars could probably form a new group because most long term members will have other peoples phone numbers or other email addresses, so word would spread as to the location of the new group.
But that can't be what the new owners want to happen. That would have killed the Golden Goose they have just bought. Because it is ONLY the members which make this site better than all the other sites out there.
