Tonight's forum quiz questions are:-
1 - Who is the member with the oldest (active) account you can find?

The difficulty I see is that you are only looking up "forum" accounts. When the site first opened you could, if you chose register on all three separate sections of the site. Adverts, forum and chatroom all had their own separate registration processes. It was possible for somebody to be registered on the chatroom for some time, before setting up an account on the forum. In fact it was common occurance to find two different people using the same user name in different sections of the site.
Or am I just showing my age lol
:lol2: that's way before my time......

May be a design feature - may be a bug:
When selecting a profile the window is poping under the current chat windo not on top.
Running IE8 with W7PRO

It's designed that way
Well having been intrigued by the initial question, I (stupidly) looked it up on Wiki lol , now I'm traumatised and going nowhere near a woman's nether-regions again!! bolt

Vaginal lubrication is a lubricating fluid that is naturally produced in a woman's vagina. Vaginal lubrication or moistness is present at all times, but production increases significantly during a woman's sexual arousal in anticipation of sexual intercourse. Without vaginal lubrication, sexual intercourse would be painful to the woman, and sometimes artificial lubricants need to be used to augment insufficient natural lubrication. While plasma seepagefrom vaginal walls due to vascular engorgement is considered to be the chief lubrication source, the Bartholin's glands, located slightly below and to the left and right of the introitus (opening of the vagina), also secrete mucus to augment vaginal-wall secretions.
Composition
The lubrication fluid contains water, pyridine, squalene, urea, acetic acid, lactic acid, complex alcohols and glycols, ketones, and aldehydes. The fluid is typically clear and more resembling of male pre-ejaculate than male ejaculate. It can vary in consistency, texture, taste, color, and odor, depending on sexual arousal, the phase of the menstrual cycle, the presence of an infection, certain drugs (legal or illegal), genetic factors, and diet.
Vaginal fluid is slightly acidic and can become more acidic with certain sexually transmitted diseases. The normal pH of vaginal fluid is between 3.8 and 4.5.

There seems to be a time-lag between turning a cam off and the removal of the name from the Live Cams list (seems to be between 10-20 seconds)?
New bug:-
Desktop Chat
When setting a text colour (blue) in the main room - when you whisper it defaults back to standard (black)..
Elliot,
If you are using both the IM and the new Chat - any messages on the IM appear as 'whisper' windows in the main chat in the highlighted 'yellow'. Is it possible to distinguish these in another colour (and a msg - You have an IM Message') - it's really confusing to think someone is whispering you going into the window and seeing a 'blank screen'.?
I've been through a research PhD (although many years ago now) whilst working.
It really depends on a number of factors - what your current job is and the time they will allow you, what your home personal circumstances are (the kids/hubby/friends time etc) you can spare, how 'dedicated you are to 'academia' and the benefit of having the end result (the PhD).
It IS a huge investment in time and effort (luckily I had a supportive employer and not many drains on the personal life at the time). But the ultimate reward of the PhD was worth the effort.
Everyone doing a research PhD goes through ups and downs over the years and it's important to have personal 'support' inplace that you can call-on when the going gets tough (family & friends as well as others taking the course). I found it a real help to 'block' time slots in a weekly calendar then divide the monthly course deliverables down into the blocks but always make sure that these didn't clash with other 'priority' events in the calendar (birthdays, kids school sports days) and such like. i aslo added a 20% time contingency to my learning plan (which really helped) as either you have the 'extra' time needed to get the work in, or you had 20% free time as a bounus that could give a bit of a 'break' to recharge the old brain batteries (bad was to use that time to 'get-ahead' with the next block).
Whatever you decide, good luck.....

Elliott,
Monday 08:45 just encountering
Please wait while we connect you to the chat service...
is Beta chat down ?

09:30 - ditto....
After starting my own room i was able to go into another 'created' room and 'kick' a user in there - it seems that you can retain 'host' rights across user created rooms - is this correct?
If you try and access a private room with the incorrect password - the system generates a 'spoof' room rather than leaves you in the main room.
Anybody who has installed it before 15:00 today - needs to reinstall the upgraded version from the main site Chatroom page.
minor issue
if pasting a link and using the http:// form - the chat interprets this and insets a smiley from the IM ( :/ )
If you only see 1 logon option on the Chatroom page - with the message 'As you have an older browser....'etc, then you are running IE8 in 'compatability mode'.
Issue Resolution:
IE8 > Tools > compatability view settings = off
Restart IE8, log back on to the site , Chatroom , you should now see the twin logon's for the new Chatroom.
Click on LAUNCH BETA CHATand you should be in.
We're in (but had to switch from IE8 to Chrome).
Great selection of emoticons from the standard system - but, why-oh-why import the IM emoticons? they're awful by comparison and use a different system to the madxxx: format of the main ones?
Still having loads of problems with the 'flash player' it keeps crashing...
Where did the room host controls go?
As the whispers are now separate - i thought we would have had an 'ignore/block' function...?
