We hope everyone is still ok since we spoke to you all last.
Briefly we havent been around much because my father passed away on the 26th of September, that in itself was a blow and totally unexpected.
The big problem was that someone has called the police and told them he was poisoned, this lead to a 5 hour stay in the police station for me and New2trot, plus many family members and friends, not to mention the 2 police vans, 2 marked cars and 2 unmarked cars in the yard and 20 forensics officers that turned his house upside down.
As yet my father has not been buried and we are still in limbo, our appearances here for the time being will be sporadic but we hope to catch up with many of you at Marcuso's 40th next month.

Being an op is difficult especially when you are covering many things whilst online and the ops aren't just watching main chat they have at least 2 other windows open in mirc, for example SH Help.
On top of this they may be chatting with friends on another media or dealing with family life around them at the time aswell or surfing porn :twisted:
How do i know? well because i used to be one for SH as some know.
Some ops are available to watch the room at night because they work in the day and some during the day when the kids are at school, but we have to remember that over the last month the kids have been off school and the ops havent been around as much during the day because of dealing with the ankle biters, who are obviously too young to be sitting next to a parent watching main chat, illegal and unwise!
Personally i think a round of applause is due to the ops when they are available, in the mean time if you are a mirc user download "TrollBane" this little add on stops people pvt'ing you uninvited and automatically tells them not to pvt :twisted:
Also remember to be polite when you say "PLEASE dont pvt me without asking first if its ok to do so" being offensive is annoying to the people that do it and it makes them even more aggressive in the room.
I think we are all big enough and most of us (me included) bloody ugly enough to look after ourselves when we happen to be in the chatroom at a time an op is unavailable, and deal with the situation sensibly.
