I went with my sister-in-law and our tribe(the clever fathers decided to stop at work-too too busy!!) to the lake district. Back and forth to the car we went putting in all the important stuff(which you never need).Eventually we get going "we've forgotten something,"I said. "no,no everythings in..boots,jackets, spare this, spare that"said my the road we went only for about five minutes(honest!)before we realised the youngest member of the tribe was blissfully asleep in the pram in the back garden!Things haven't improved!
I'm not prejudiced(can't spell either! who did win the war of the Roses though!?
Thanks for the welcoming words also! It does appear everyone likes to talk more than have sex on this site! which suits me fine actually being the verbose sort myself!
Losing weight is a complete bitch and so hard, so well done you.I have managed to stay off the red wine since yesterday so well done me!
We are brand newbies on the site and I am glad you are asking questions that have obviously been asked before because it is easy( and this is no disrespect to anyone involved) to join and then feel like the new kids at school- excluded from the in-jokes and not a part of the is also hard to make the first move or effort and join in. You obviously don't expect to be eveyones new best friend when you first join but it is nice to have questions answered that more regular users must have heard a hundred times before!
we are here because we have been married a long time-we love our marriage and our life but now have more time for us and intend to enjoy doing something I wish I had done years ago. Not got there yet though!!
Hi we are new to this and have only just started to use the site (you've got to start somewhere!) We would like to come to your munch though, please!
Hi could we please be added to your list, it sounds like fun!
Mental homes, buckets of frogs, golf ....this forum is complete Bedlam! :silly:
The slave trade was disgraceful and should be remembered but i agree it is the past and where does apologising logically end? John Sentamu,Archbishop of York also said (when discussing the protester at the commemoration service yesterday) that he hoped 'the protesters depth of anger..is matched by that he should have towards those African chiefs who grew fat through the sale of their kith and kin for trinkets'.
