Jon and I have young guys coming onto us all the time and to be honest we have met with a couple of them from the 19 - 25 age range.
However, whilst Jon does not have a problem with their ages, I find I cannot get past a mental block - "I'm old enough to be their mother" :shock: lol

We have kids in that age group and for me, that is the biggest turn off. I simply don't feel comfortable shagging someone that young redface

We usually prefer the over 35 age group, although we do make one exception for a guy in his late 20's . . . . . . Well . . . . . I'm not *quite* old enough to be his mum (and he's worth it :P ) ;-) :lol2:

Nope, I'm entirely with you on this NWC. I can never understand the couples who advertise for other couples - that's not dogging, it's outdoor swinging IMO.
I think where the "I am happy JUST to watch" thing comes from is things like tabloid newspapers - they always give the impression that rampant couples are out there and every guy who is within a 5 mile radius is guaranteed a shag or at the very least a BJ rolleyes

Obviously some guys know this is not the case and to prove their point, they maybe feel the need to suggest they will watch only.
Personally I think it's a sad scenario. When Jon and I began dogging three years ago, we always had to invite the guys to join in, they were never as pushy and expectant as they are when we go out these days.
We are still in contact with several of the guys we met on our very first few tentative outings. They were all so nice, we often swapped phone numbers, met up for just drinks etc.
If we go out now, we seldom ask their names, let alone give them out phone numbers. Most of them are way too pushy and expect that any woman out after 9pm is a piece of meat to be used as they see fit - because they read it in a newspaper :roll: confused

As for the couples thing - I've read more than a few times on here about couples who have *had to drive off* or *had the night spoiled by single men watching* :?

Isn't that what it's all about? It's basically one step up from being watched by a peeping tom and that is where it's origin lie, so surely if you don't want to be watched, you don't go out in car parks at night where you know guys will be hanging around waiting :undecided:

Besides in the world of dogging you need all the patience you can get. It will mean waiting around in dark car parks for hours at a time, with often nothing to see, let alone get invloved with.
Perhaps while you are waiting for some decent replies on here, you could try reading the dogging etiquette thread, filled with hints and tips on the best way to behave etc.
Oh and don't believe everything you've heard or read in the Sunday tabloids - the country is not full of sex starved couples just waiting for guys like you to drop by, so calm down, take a deep breath and wait . . . .

Without wishing to be a stick in the mud here, surely if you wanted to chat about sport you could join a site dedicated to that?
I don't see that having seperate forums for discussing various other non sexual activities is called for and to be honest, we simply do not have the moderators to cover the workloads it would cause.
The Cafe works well most of the time and many threads are no where near anything related to sex or swinging. People chat in there about anything and everything as they would in a group of friends anywhere.
Politics and religion have always been a bone of contention for some people and such discussions invariably end up with people being abusive to each other and all getting hot under the collars.
I feel the balance is about right for the moment and that is why Jon and I stay with this site. We feel comfortable here and enjoy the banter.
Lets not bring in things which may cause problems. If we have a sports forum, someone else would want a different forum and so on.
Before long we could have hundreds of people all asking "Can we have a forum for swapping knitting patterns?" "Can we have a forum for the discussion of contemplating our own navels?" "Can we have a forum . . . . . "
You see where it can lead to lol

Idle chat is great and should be encouraged, but lets not start segregating ourselves into little pockets or before long we'll have as many forums as we have chatrooms :shock: :lol2:

Sadly if you read many of the threads in the Cafe they will often be from single males complaing that they seldom, if ever get replies to their pm's etc.
With the ratio of men to women/couples being so much higher it is a fact that people can afford to be more choosy to whom they reply or want to meet.
Not getting replies is not always down to bad manners either. Sometimes it is down to sheer weight of numbers and, for example, we have had upward of 100 pm's in a day.
Even the most prolific writers amongst us would not have the time to reply to all of them.
Just keep trying is all I can suggest. You may break through at some point and I'm sure it will be worth the wait ;-)
