Erm... some help please techy people...
I recently upgraded my Vista to Windows 7. ALmost everything works, but when I go to type either here, or on Wordpress, when the cursor scrolls off the bottom of the visible page, it keeps flicking up and down and I can't read what I type as the text in the box keeps reverting to what is on the front page.
Do I need to install something? As at the moment it is driving me potty.
Cheers!

I like a thread filled with humour, and keep going back to read the responses. I quite like it when a 'political' topic goes off at a tangent - if I want politics, I'll read the Current Affairs forum.

Aww cheers!
I'm genuinely chuffed! I thought my posts were about as popular as Nelson Mandela's BNP Leadership application form of late.
Do other folk go through the forum confidence thing or is it just another of my weird foibles? (No, this isn't a 'love me! love me!' thread, I do just wonder whether people feel their motives are questioned at every turn, or whether that's just me being paranoid)
My favourite threads are the funny ones. Silk and Big G's "Swinging on a Budget" thread should be stickied as an example of how to have a good time on here. I cried laughing at some of the posts on there. I also love it when banter gets going, perhaps on a thread that was heading into choppy waters and some sensible folk steer it back to common sense through their good humour and impeccable wordsmithery (that is a word, I just made it up). I find that heartening and it gladdens my tired spirit. It seems conflict is more popular sometimes sadly, which worries me because I didn't really come here for that and I think in such circumstances, the abject toss I tend to post is very much out of place. I still do it anyway from time to time, but I worry that it has quickly grown tiresome.
You've hit posting fatigue stage. It happens to us all- but I was dreading it happening to you, as you genuinely did breathe some new life into the place.
Now you just sit in the corner gathering dust. rolleyes
Ah... is this what SH vets get when they come home? A bit like PTSD?
"I was out there Johnny.... you didn't see his eyes... staring into my soul..."
I'll have you know I am not gathering dust. I have become a particularly gregarious hatstand.

Apparently being over the age of 5 years old is no limiter to wearing pyjamas in my local Asda.
Tonight it was 2 twenty-odd year old women with a child - all 3 in pink fluffy jamas, slippers and dressing gowns!!!!
I know I'm an old fart - but Jesus - talk about reinforcing the Chav image of a town! mad

lol!
It's just a natural progression from the slippers. My Dad used to go everywhere in his until I told him people thought he was simple.
They were right most of the time too.

Certain trainers that are so narrow they cut off the blood supply to my toes. When did that happen? Have everyone elses feet got narrower, or mine just become like bigfoots?
Briefs. Remind me too much of the snip and I feel like it is a bit like keeping a lion in a gerbil cage. (Edit : Perhaps that should be the other way around?).
Baseball caps while walking around town. I just feel like I am betraying my middle age roots. I may as well have a comb over and say "Hey wow!" a lot.
Sunglasses. I always wear them on holiday but I feel in this country it is a bit naive and I just look a bit of an arse.
I'm the other way I'm afraid, I am seldom proud of anything I do and entirely critical of almost everything.
It's the confidence thing I guess. Fear possibly too. I dunno. I daren't walk the dark path into my psyche to confront the demons within just yet.
It does make me strive to improve and learn, which is good, but it is an often cruel, double-edged sword.
I loathe bragging, simply because it is entirely subjective and often just a complete distortion of the truth. I feel if you have to list your achievements to try and qualify an argument or win a point, it means you are either a pretty poor debater or the argument you present is full of holes and not rigorous enough to withstand any objective scrutiny by your peers. Plus it makes you look a little sad, pathetic and somewhat self-absorbed. Technically called, an arse.
I can understand it in terms of CV's and job interviews however, that seems to be the standard nowadays. However I think there is a way to highlight the qualities you possess without coming across as a total, ego-driven, shallow, nob-end.
I think feeling pride in others is a magnificent thing, especially when it is fully deserved. I think misplaced pride as in "Little Timmy has been wonderful today! He only kicked the coffee table over twice and broke his sisters arm! Still it's an improvement!" is particularly bilious, but justifiable pride in someone else, even yourself is a good overstating the belief that this makes you somehow superior to others as a result, is pathetic, narrow minded and self-centred.
Good post Minxy, and well done on winning the Southern Section of the Bonkers of the Year Competition! ;-) biggrin

Though I personally find nothing offensive in this post I fear some may be upset.......could someone please lock this thread immediately to prevent further offense

lol!
Actually, I apologise to Staggerlee if my laughing offended him or indeed anybody else. I did find this highly amusing and shame on me for doing so.
Hope this didn't offend.
As for the OP, I think it's a result of extremes again. I am all for tolerance in terms of understanding, language, acceptance and whatnot, but I think some, perhaps well-meaning but invariably stupid, people just go to the other end of the extreme and common sense is lost amongst the sea of political correctness. These people have no idea of the bandwagon they are jumping on and try to take it to the extreme of "pc coolness". So holding a door open for a lady (or indeed a man) is sexist, rather than good manners, for example.
Some people may take offence at me labelling these people stupid but that is ok, because that kind of, self-evidently, proves my point.
Wasn't there another thread a while back which showed the swingers car of choice was the Ford Focus?
So we have...
Cream coloured couch.
Pampas grass in the front (I'm assuming that is for folk who don't shave)
A pre-disposition for liking Tiger Bread.
I do have some other suggestions...
1. A frantic look of concern whenever a family member innocently opens your bedroom wardrobe or gets onto your PC before you've had chance to 'ahem' tidy it...
2. Shares in Duracell
3. If you stay overnight they leave a condom, rather than a mint on your pillow.
4. Reddening of the cheeks whenever a family member innocently mentions the words "swinging" or "vanilla"
5. Riding crops with no riding hat.
I'm sure there are more.

HAYOO! lol

rotflmao Slick!
I've been trying to fnd a way of posting that for the last two hours but without the whole black and white thing appearing as offensive as mentally retarded boys in the woods type comments! confused
I've never had any kind of russian slipping down my throat....
Hmmm... Is that true? I heard you Sukdakokov behind Gala Bingo in the town centre...

1. Baking soda or vinegar leaves windows spotlessly clean. It also adds a shining lustre to tired looking testes, especially when used in conjunction with some emery cloth or an orbital sander.
2. Have a nasty stain that you can't get rid of? Why not wipe your arse properly or stop wanking in your undies? Failing that, jump into a communal Jacuzzi in a club and the bubbles and contaminant body fluids will probably dissolve your stained knicks completely.
3. Give a thong as a wonderful double Xmas present for sexy nights in, or to cut the cheese with to have with your glass of Port.
4. Be Green and save your anal douche waste. Farmers spray all kinds of contaminated, foul-smelling shite on their fields, so put it to good use on his carrots and let him save a few bob in diesel for his tractor.

I'm not buying veggies from your local farm shop. I hope none of my neighbours are reading this and getting ideas confused In fact I'm seriously thinking of going back to getting my greengrocery from Mr. Morrison/Sainsbury/Tesco <insert your own preference> as at least they'll be scrubbed clean and disinfected a year or so before I actually buy them rolleyes
Have you seen what the supermarkets do with their vegetables? Apart from having them working the tills some days many are pumped full of chemicals far worse...
Anyway, I called the farmer but he politely declined. He said cows are far better , cost less and taste nicer... Cheeky git.

a voyeur is taking part in the sexual act. no contact is needed.
as for consent, in this case i agree its more of an ethical question than a legal one.
i cant believe people on here are arguing that its ok for family members to engage in sexual acts together or in close proximity of each other.

I'm not sure they were saying it is ok, they were saying it wasn't technically and it wasn't a sign that they were somehow mentally deficient because if their sexual preferences.

... it just turns out that its hard to achieve anything in the sea of horny single men.

It's not - you just need to position yourself correctly so you appeal (and I don't mean to me).. and you're doing a stonking job so far in my opinion
Some people come on here and go about it all the wrong way as they either appear:
1. needy
2. arrogant
3. loopy
4. all of the above
I think it's more about how you do stuff here than what you do. I hope that when I post some of the naughty smut I do that now people 'know' me a little more they realise that my tongue is uually firmly in my cheek as I type. I say things sometimes that I re-read and think OMG  in the cold light of day - i.e. I really wouldn't bounce you off the bedroom rooms (unless you asked of course or kinda hinted) and I'm not that into big knobs (much!) All of us have 'roles' we play here - the same as any social grouping and hopefully they make the place fun, interesting and just a little bit sexy/naughty.
Keep going - if you imagine the worst, it will likely happen and become some self-fulfilling prophecy. If you become a needy single male in a 'sea' of them you'll drown pretty quickly.. don't, and you'll stay afloat :P
Ah f*&ck a ducky...
Still out of the four it'd be my preference.
I'm particularly fond of "Rancid Vole Pellet" and "Burgeoning Erection".
"Twazzling Smooshbags" is another that has a rather off-kilter flavour. Something to do with the Gin I think.
But my personal favourite all time is "The Queen's velvety flaps" which has the odour you'd expect and the kick that only royalty can provide.
Dan Brown (and some fellow Da Vinci fanatics) believe that the "secret" is that Mona Lisa is actually androgynous, or even a portrait of Da Vinci himself as a man-woman in some sort of weird conspiratorial nonsense about the sacred feminine and the bloodline of Christ.
These theories are complete arse-water.
It is a picture of a rather plain and lady called Lisa Gherardini, wife of Francesco Di Giocondo (hence the nickname, La Gioconda).
Personally, I think Da Vinci made her 'enigmatic' because without it, she'd be incredibly plain. It was a commission after all so he isn't likely to paint her with a big wart on her face and boil on the end of her nose.
I think people may like the fantasy but be afraid of the reality. I think some blokes think that sex with anybody is better than sex alone and I think that some may think by being "bi" gives them a certain amount of swinging Kudos and offers more options than being totally straight or gay. As such I think they tick the boxes which don't necessarily reflect their true sexuality, but tick the boxes which they think will appeal to other swinging people to get them noticed and invited, and then once they have achieved that they can try and wangle things round to what they actually want.
Or there is also the possibility that some people are just too dopey to realise what boxes they are ticking.

I can see why people like Green Mile & Shawshank, Darabont is very good at tugging at the heart strings via the innocently wronged man.
I blub like a baby at the end of the Green Mile but I prefer to do that at home as otherwise it makes my popcorn salty.
For epic scope how about all six remastered Star Wars films in an arse numbing day of Vaderness?

I once sat through the first or is it second three, those nasty velour seats become terribly itchy after a couple of hours
I feel your pain! I came out of Lord of the Rings and it took 4 days for the feeling to return to my arse...
