Bagpuss was like a bad trip on mushrooms. Talking woodpeckers and singing mice.. Just showing episodes of that would be better than any anti-drug campaign. "And Bagpuss became a big floppy, fluffy old cat. Misshapen and baggy..." I wonder where the influence for that came from. A badly stuffed pussy. I wonder.

Dissing the wonder that was Bagpuss? How very dare you! smackbottom
I don't care tonight. I'm feeling rebellious. I may start on Camberwick Green soon.
I always thought David Seaman would be the ideal choice to do Chorlton's voice in any remake. Fenella was the Witch who shared an uncanny resemblance to Edwina Currie I felt.
Do you remember Button Moon? How crap was that? Made for 10p with a black blanket and any old shite they could turf out of the back of the old art cupboard. "Oh look, here comes Mr Pre-decimilisation 2 shilling piece and his friend little Miss bent paper clip". Fingerbobs was the same. Rolled up paper mice... it's no wonder we turned out like we are and are busy fucking each other...

I'd like to be a lady for a day, so I can give myself a chance to speak at home.
Blade Runner
I can see why people like Green Mile & Shawshank, Darabont is very good at tugging at the heart strings via the innocently wronged man.
I blub like a baby at the end of the Green Mile but I prefer to do that at home as otherwise it makes my popcorn salty.
For epic scope how about all six remastered Star Wars films in an arse numbing day of Vaderness?

So you are with John McCrirrick, mucking out the pigsty in the pouring rain?
You ARE kinky...
Hell yeah cool
Burlington Bertie, 100/30,
Feck these pigs, lets all get dirty!
I don't really get this idea of everything being "equal" in a threesome... how the feck do you measure that?
"Well, I've spent 15.2 minutes manipulating her left nipple, now I'll set the stopwatch PLEASE! Don't touch bits of me, that's a 3 second penalty when it comes to the oral..."
Surely you are all there to enjoy yourself. If someone is there for any other reason, or under duress, then it is almost guaranteed to go tits up.
I think probably to enjoy a threesome you have to enjoy watching as much as playing and if you can't handle taking a back seat at times and not being at the centre of everything, you may well struggle to enjoy it, especially if you are insecure about seeing a loved one enjoy it with someone else.

It's not too bad and sets you up later for the testicle roast.

Dammit! How did you find out about what really goes on at the Wilts camping socials?
It's common knowledge these days Sassy, they've got t-shirts now with "I survived the Wilts Camping Social with mildly charred bollocks" doing the rounds on Ebay.

Hi, thanks for the differing messages. Some might say this is a very difficult initiation, but im up for the challengr, especially if i can avoid the bloodbath!!!

It's easy enough, once you've scooped the innards out and put it into the tin bath, climb inside the horse and then when Felicity Kendall explodes above you, you are sheltered and you just get the odd organ or two bouncing around inside. It's not too bad and sets you up later for the testicle roast.
rotflmao I think we should get you on the case writing the SH Welcome booklet!
I did offer, but they rejected it upon reading my first sentence...
"Congratulations, filthy pervert, welcome to hell!"

Have some got kittens then? lol

I don't understand that one either Kenty... How did your dog have kittens?

People do talk to you when you've completed the initiation ritual.
I'm sure one of the Mods has told you all about this, so I'll just wish you the best of luck with it and say not to worry too much, the blood does wash out and the police will never know.
I can play the Piano, very badly. Entirely self-taught and it shows.
I can pick out the odd song when I can be bothered to learn it, takes me a while to get it down though as I have to commit it all to memory. However once you have the basics down the rest does seem to follow and you kind of get an idea which chords progress from one another and which don't.
Not learning to play properly is my biggest regret from school, but I have learned enough now to keep me amused and others in turmoil.
I wish I could play the drums too. A quality drummer is a very rare beast!

I like to be shaven but i`ve been hairless below for around 16yrs, way longer than the fashion for it, strangely enough no one has ever commented that they didnt like it rolleyes
I like men to be shaven too, just feels nicer on the lady bits and much nicer to suck and lick too.
Myself and BMW are both tattooed on our bits so def no need for hair now wink

How did you not faint?
I think it's because there's no hair, it's easier to keep clean. You can use your Dove instead of your Head and Shoulders down below and there's no need to back comb it, dye it or put it in pigtails.
To me the pube/no pube debate is very much like asking what type of air-freshner you want dangling off the mirror of your Ferrari. It matters not.
There's a couple.
"When the Tigers Broke Free" by Pink Floyd is moving and thought provoking, not on a personal level, it just is.
"Wind Beneath My Wings" is another again not for anything personal to me, but I like the sentiments.
"Drive" by the Cars is one which moves me but I don't know why. I think maybe because it wa a hit during my formative years.

there is that smiug 'egg-head' team.
set them against some ten year-olds... and then have any differences sorted out behind the bike-sheds.
thats good tv right there!
lp

Oooh! I don't mind the Eggheads, apart from CJ who makes me want to throw things at the screen when he is on.
Does that bloke Kevin know everything there is to know in the world? Incredible.
As for the 10 year olds. As couplefunuk has already said, the 10 year olds have an advantage. You'd be surprised at how little you do actually remember from school and how much of what you do learn is entirely contextual. Plus, I think the kids are prepped if not in the answers, then where to study, topics etc.
To me the show only really 'works' if you have a thick adult on it ready to be shown up. They love it when someone comes on who barely knows their name, let alone the answer to "What is the subjunctive in the following sentence..." (I know that now, thanks to TheLovelyone)
I think Daphne would kick all egghead & 10year old ass though in a behind the bikeshead rumble.

Sorry res I read it as implying that folk had changed their minds when he became shaggable, no wonder im still emptying bins.
Based on that understanding I wondered if you meant me. Paranoia is quite widespread.
I do get upset about the troll labels since they are usually directed at newer posters who haven't tuned in to group think and aren't seen to be shaggable. Rarely are they aimed at the serial offenders. The shame of it is that whilst the serial offenders do seem to be doing it to get a rise out of folk the newer faces simply havent realised what a bunch of po faced up our own arse holier than thou'ers we can be--at the best of times.

Hiya Ben,
I understand about the paranoia thing (maybe that's a thread in itself!) I get that too. It's largely why I don't post as much now.
I don't like it either when new faces are pounced upon for whatever reason but to be honest, I've not seen it happen much of late, but then again, I've not been around as much. Certainly the threads that I tend to read don't contain anything and I never go onto the "welcome" thread, so I don't know what goes on there.
Toohot - That's very true about group and whatnot, however while there is a good deal of common ground in how members of a group, such as SH, will think. I often find it is those with a differing view, like good old Mr K, Flower, Mr Powers, Splendid, Bloke, your good self, whoever, that provide the most thoughtful, insightful comments and provoke the bigger reactions and will often make me think about how I judge a situation. Sometimes stirring the pot is needed to get things going again, and that's certainly happened.
I do understand what you mean about the fear of entering a "group" on here. When I joined I spent ages thinking about my first posts. It kind of felt like you were gatecrashing a party with its own established codes and rules. I guess new posters must feel the same, so we should welcome them with open arms and in 99% of circumstances I'm sure people would. But some make it much harder for themselves than others, for their own reasons.
Anyway, I'm sure I've bored the toenails off folk already, so I'll shut my cakehole on this and go back to posting daftness elsewhere!
(PS Flower Old Bean, I am a terrible witterer...I type quickly and before I know it there's bloody reams of the stuff...verbal Dai O'Rhea and all that ;-)

Res, earlier on you made reference to folk treating Brucie differently once they realised he was shaggable. Can you tell me to whom you were alluding?
Cheers
Ben

Hiya Ben,
I've read through my posts and I can't see where I said that... I did say;
"I just do not think it is fair that people are insulted and then vilified for taking offence at the insult or insultor, simply because the person who did it is judged to be new, popular or shaggable.
And unlike some, I will name folks on here rather than state they will name them and then hide behind the "some may say" remarks."
Is that what you mean?
I don't think that implies anybody treated him one way initially and then treated him differently when they discovered he was "shaggable". What I mean is people liked him and people didn't based on what he said and the reaction he created, for whatever reason (new, popular or shaggable- or indeed any of these in combination, I could have added more like funny, amusing, controversial but I didn't want to labour the point)
I'm sorry to be devils advocate here Ben, but it does sound rather like a leading question somewhat, as if you want me to name names to cause offense, inflame the situation or upset to people, or for another reason I am yet to fathom (make me look cowardly perhaps when I refuse to do so? Oh the twisted demons of my deluded mind!). Some people love what Brucie did, some don't. I am in the latter category. It doesn't mean that I don't like or respect those who have a different opinion. I just stated my reasons for believing what I do.
Even people I disagree with are precious and I like to treat them that way. I take issue with the opinion and not the holder of the opinion.
It's fairly self-evident who like what Brucie has done, a quick skim of the thread will do that Ben. Or do you want me to state things like "Isn't Bloke a bit silly? Oh and that Kenty sucking up! Tsk! And I expected more of Poshkate, Nola, Splendid and co! And as for that Sassy, does she know what team she's on! Tsk!! And look at Mrs B and Cherry moaning away... And that Fabio... Tsk! The cheek!" Will that do? I think I've offended most people there. That should excite a few who enjoy a good bout of bloodletting.
There's a fair few from all sides of the argument, who can now come on here and take offence and call me a deranged, delusional twat if that is what you wanted. Not that I believe they will for a moment, I think they are mature enough to know that I disagree and not lose a moments sleep over it and not go all quiet and sullen and send me PM's accusing me of being a traitor of the worst kind and if they do, then I'll just tell them that I still have the photographs of them and the MP's and the papers are only a phone call away.
Or would you like a list of teams for the great Brucie Smackdown event? All those people in spandex and baby oil eh? Now I see where you were going with this Ben, you naughty boy! wink
And with that rather tasteless image, I'll bid you goodnight because I'm off for a drinky-poo!
Any abusive PM's you know where my mailbox is.
(PS. I love you all really, no I do. And I love this place too. Right down to the little hairs on the tip of your nosey wosey...)

All I`ve got to say is that I`ve started far far less insulting and contraversial threads in the past and had them locked within minutes ......
The reason given when asked...
"I could see the way this one was going..." WTF ???
It seems there are double standards here ...I post threads that I think are going to be amusing and a bit of a laugh for the evening and they get locked because somebody thinks there might be a bad word typed on the screen.
But along comes brucie and posts a load of insulting claptrap that winds loads of people up and it just gets to run and run !!
Don`t understand at all ....either we can start threads that cause a stir or we can`t, it`s just plain boring if people are making up the rules as they go along or even making up different rules for different people !! rolleyes

Totally agree Flower. I've seen threads locked for the right reasons and ones locked for reasons I could not fathom and yet others are allowed to continue (and are vehemently supported) which are plainly and obviously, offensive. I'm not the only person to have raised this point either, I was chatting to another forumite about this very thing only a day or two ago.
Mr K, as I stated above. Opinions are not the problem, it is how you choose to state them. I think anyone can deal with the "name calling bollox". Oddly enough, most fat folks encounter this fairly regularly, however I don't think anyone should have to put up with it (and worse still, have those opinions lauded), have it as part and parcel of being here or even their worthiness for being here questioned because somebody doesn't like how they look. Not when other threads, as Flower has rightly pointed out, are stopped within mini-seconds for fear of offending somebody. I think, as a grown up, some people could do well not to make such nasty comments such as that in the first place, as opposed to expecting everyone else on the site being grown up enough to deal with it when it happens.
What if Brucie had said "Anyone with a disability shouldn't be here because they offend me."? Would that have been ok? Would we have overreacted then. I'd have had the same reaction had he said it about Gay men, lesbians, The Welsh or Essex Boys. It isn't the victim that matters, it's the principle.
What is childish is doing it in the first place and then continuing to make comments of the same ilk for whatever reason. It isn't childish or judgemental to defend yourself against comments if you disagree with them. It is what you do on your political threads when someone posts against your view, and rightly so. However that's because although you may disagree vehemently with their view, you agree that they have a right to it. You don't summarily dismiss their view because they are "liberal tree eating, sandal hugging, yoghurt wearing nutters" or state that they shouldn't be here incase they offend the beautiful sensible people who agree with you? I think you encourage debate, rather than set out to insult people. That is a big difference.
I agree comments against Brucie were as bad at times as those he made. But why is that the case? Because he made them initially and continued to do so. People got angry because of it and posted their thoughts. We're they wrong to do that? Should they have just said "Well, being fat and ugly, he has a point. I should just fuck off from here and stay in Mingerville the rest of my life?"
People pay to be here for swinging & stuff. Not to be judged for how they look. Enough of that happens as a by-product in swinging anyway and to pick on those who are perhaps more vulnerable and lack some confidence is shabby, immature and pathetic.
As Flower says, it seems odd some posts are stopped immediately, while others are allowed to run, even praised and lauded, when they are as offensive, if not more so, as others. There is a discrepancy there that is yet to be explained fully and I doubt ever will be.
You may have thick skin Mr K, but it doesn't mean everyone else has or that they should have to put up with insults, intended or not, and then be accused of being childish or moaners if they make an issue of it, especially when in the past far more harmless threads have been stopped for fear of offending the genteel sensibilities of the folk on here.
Anyway, I'm off to weep into my hanky and to try and "get a life".
Incidentally, I wasn't "making a fuss" which is why I put my post here, tucked away in a quiet old Forum and after several days consideration. It is also why I stated pretty much what I did in the final couple of sentences. I just do not think it is fair that people are insulted and then vilified for taking offence at the insult or insultor, simply because the person who did it is judged to be new, popular or shaggable.
And unlike some, I will name folks on here rather than state they will name them and then hide behind the "some may say" remarks.
Oh and I'm not making any more of a fuss than any other comment on the forum. Why is it when you disagree with something bad it is a "fuss" but when you agree it is either an "opinion", a "popular thread" or in some cases "sucking up". Strange eh?
I thought the forum was all about discussing contentious issues? Isn't that just as fussy?
But you know I love you Mr K and I'll forgive you anything. Just remember not to frighten Mrs K when you let David Cameron out of your bedroom wardrobe... ;-)
Oddly enough, I'm not actually raising these points because I give a toss. I really don't. I come here for a giggle Mr K, not sex and I'm big enough, old enough and intelligent enough to deal with any petty sniping anyone wishes to make. Brucie can do what he likes and say what he likes. That doesn't bother me. What does bother me is the general feeling that because Brucie is now popular, shaggable and funny, what he says is somehow justifiable and those who did take offence (which if you look at the threads, were more than a few people brave enough to contribute) are the villains of the piece. I just think that is unfair. So I said so. I didn't offend anybody, or slag anybody off, I stated my view as a grown up. I can disagree with people and still love them Mr K.
You should know that...
Sweetcheeks :inlove:
biggrin
I don't really mind. It at least gives people more places to hide when things start flying...
Do you like to see men wanking on cam?
