Kissing is the key that turns the ignition. Without it, you don't get the motor running.

Couldn't have put it better myself

Oooh eck, I'd better check my bits... they can't do those ops while I am asleep can they?

I used the word in one of our adverts a while ago, and it simply attracted a load of egomaniac men who cannot see how anyone could possibly resist them. Nobody exceptional at all. I didn't consider it to be a reference to size of the equipment on offer, merely a plea for potential playmates that would be able to connect with me inside my head (as well as shag me senseless).

I thought it said "extendable"

The last hitchhiker I picked up was a lady on the M5 about 10 years ago. After about 2 miles she started to talk to me about how she believed you should feed the umbilical cord to your new baby, although she didn't achieve this once as her dog ate it
It was one of those 'get this person out of my car now' kinda moments. I made an excuse and dropped her at the next services as it spooked me a bit confused

I've heard of Placenta stew. I await the Heston Blumenthal new menu with a sense of trepidation.
You did the right thing stopping. God knows what she'd have cooked up with bits of you. Bloke pudding?
;-)
Exceptional means out of the ordinary, better than average, judgement of what exceptional actually is, becomes subjective as it has to be as you are making the judgement based on your personal criteria, especially so in a swinging context, when what people judge as "average" and "exceptional" can vary greatly.
In a swinging context, it must therefore be applied to mean that the person they are seeking somehow has to be "better than average". This therefore probably means someone with bigger bits, a higher sex drive and perhaps more creative mind, or a combination of all three.
Reading between the lines, it can mean that the couple just have a liking for something different, or that they have such a high opinion of themselves, or believe themselves to be so popular, that they feel only the exceptional, rather than the riff-raff, swinging cognoscenti need apply. I guess this is especially pertinent to single males who are frequently told that to even get noticed they need to be "exceptional" in some way. Kind of "There's so many of you gagging for it that we can afford to be picky" A bit like what it says my profile, albeit that is tongue in cheek.
I tend to feel how the word is used in context will give rise as to which of the two broad categories above, the people who use it fit in to.

There's a good test to see how implicitly racist people are, called "Project Implicit", run by Harvard University.

The results are quite revealing if you do the test properly.

I'd rather chew my own leg off.

I bet people would pay to watch that!
Do you think so? Even if I took out my teeth and had to feverishly gum my way through the bone and muscle...
Each to their own. Mind you, I'm sure many would Enjoy the Silence. Depeche Mode for one.

Oh waaaaay too much choice and information now!
I'm just an ickle Nola, not knowing what to do... :confused2:

Get the one you can get for £5 from carphone warehouse and what you save you can spend on booze in the offy and we can go over to Birkenhead Park with bloke and get pissed up on alcopops and then beat up a group of unassuming hoodies.
I've played Counterstrike... You've probably seen me, I'm the one who gets shot in the head within 4 seconds. Honest to god, it's so frustrating. I felt like the extra who got beamed down to the Mysterious planet with Mr Spock and Captain Kirk, wearing a different coloured jumper and who you knew would be dead within 30 seconds.

were 23 and 22 we have been together 7 years and we are married. we have been swinging for nearly a year now and enjoy it ! everybody has there own preferences wich is fine. Can any 1 tell me the age wen it is rite to be a swinger ????????????

I don't think you can put a numerical age on it. I think in the traditional sense, as much as there is one, swinging couples evolve together over time to make the choices they make together. Conventionally that has been when the couple is more established and been together a long time. This means that in the past the people who indulged in this tended to be older than their early 20's.
Of course, nowadays, swinging has changed a great deal, so those old preconceptions are probably inaccurate. Nowadays for example swingers, as they call themselves, can be single and a lot younger.
However my worry with playing with a young person (say below 25, though the age is entirely arbitrary) or a couple that has not been together very long would simply be whether they have the emotional capacity and depth of un derstanding to fully appreciate what it is they are about to do. I feel more comfortable that a couple who are older, been together a while and been around the block once or twice, have those capabilities, which to me are a central tenet to successful playing. I realise that may be entirely condescending and a sweeping generalisation, but it kind of makes sense to me.
For me it isn't about accepting the choices young swingers have made, that's fine. I worry, in a patronising and condescending way, if they really have gone into this for the right reasons and whether they may be aware of the emotional impact it can have on them and their relationship (if they have one). Having seen the adverse effect it can have on experienced people, let alone novices. I think experience helps a lot of "older" swingers through things and younger people, in general, can't have that length of experience.
Many younger swingers may find that offensive or condescending, but it is, for me at least, part of the reason why younger folks may find it more difficult.
There's some great questions on the Forum today... I'd say yes, a great many.
Conventional beauty I find really difficult to grasp. Often the people I am told are drop dead gorgeously sexy, don't do anything for me. I can appreciate their beautiful and pretty but they don't press the right buttons. I totally understand what Bloke says about Jennifer Aniston, she's never done anything for me and to me she is very plain. Phoebe however, I'd walk barefoot over broken glass for, just for a cuddle and a rendition of "Smelly Cat".
I wonder if we sense something in a person that just is intuitively wrong for us. I don't know what it could be, but it's made me think.
No, I'm not the same
And the reasons are many and varied.
However, nor am I a fake, everything I've said, in truth, about me or Mrs R is true. The points I make I do so because I believed in them. That isn't my point.
Where I differ is in the issues of confidence. I am generally a positive, happy person, but I find it hard sometimes to project that in a situation where I am not confident or do not know all the people present. In social situations I tend to be much more guarded, not through any great personal inability, just through fear of coming across as a frightful bore, or just irritating people.
rolleyes is much more difficult to contend with in real life.
Why do you need a purveyor of any faith at all?
Surely a close friend could do an equally good job without trying to bring Him into it. You can then suit your reaffirmation of vows to whatever you wanted. After all it is your reaffirmation of each other that you want to celebrate?

Ah, so the fact I'm standing outside in my boxies ready to share your sausaged mcMuffin isn't top of your list eh?
I'll settle for waking up to the sound of children not arguing.

Listen, if you've brought breakfast then come on in! lol
I tried, but the police got there first and grabbed me by the doughnuts...

Okay, if you had the chance to have a perfect lie in, who would it be with, where would it be and what would you be doing?
Right now, I'd like to be in a huge huge king size bed, with white cotton sheets and gorgeously plump pillows. I'd be sipping proper coffee, reading the paper and lazily contemplating my day ahead.
With? Aahhh, I'm a little too bashful to actually say who I'd like it to be with - so I'll settle for a generic 'hunk' of a man, who has just got out of the shower, smells lush and who, after we've read the papers, would be ready for round two :rascal:

Watching Most Haunted Live and laughing at people who think this nonsense is real.
"Mary Loves Dick! Mary Loves Dick!"
No, it is the devils excrement. Swarvega for the evil and sandwich coating for the insane.
Have you ever gone on a swinging 'date', turned up and been extremely disappointed as the person you've met was not quite what you were expecting?
P.M.T - A womans valid reason/excuse for violence and chocolate.
Osmosis - The bloke who parted the sea in Sydney harbour.
Kentswingers - People from the garden of England who attack down the right.

One of Brucie's (I mean Forsyth's) Dolly Dealers.
Failing that professional "Flake" eaters off the adverts.
I'd also de-frock the Vicar of Dibley.

That's my mother
Which one? Or do you mean all three?!
Your Mum's Dawn French, the Flake Eating Dolly dealer?
Hey Tan... (in best Joey voice) How YOU doin? wink

Until recently I was convinced that if I could do something it can't be that clever but I admired immensly my sister's artistic ability for instance.
It took years of think sensibly about stuff to get more of a balanced view. There are things I do that others find hard (and that many find totally boring LOL) and things others do that I couldn't do in a month of Sundays.
But I do like to get praise, honestly who doesn't, just a little bit? A lot of that is to do with the fact that I put myslf down too much for all my life to trust my own judgment.

Great post Foxylady (I've always wanted to say that because it makes me feel like Jimi Hendrix)
My envy is directed at those who are artistic and musical. I've tried both and while I have moderate/awful success on the Music score, I am about as artistic as what cows leave in a field. I have absolutely no appreciation of things and I do not understand them at all. It's probably why when I hear Brian Sewell or Melvin Bragg I want to weep and flush their head down the lavatory, as opposed to listen to what great insights they can give. I have to be told what is beautiful in art. My appreciation is entirely logical, not emotional.

Careful...I have an umbrella to store... lol

Ah! That's next door in the Bloke department. His speciality I believe. You can even leave it open if he's brought his lube.
I'm afraid you can only slide something warm and velvety onto me.
Preferably not feline, canine or bovine however.

Finishing the 14 year old single malt given to us as a thank you for helping some mates with their humping lol
And avoiding doing anything useful, whilst sorting through the stuff to decorate the garden tomorrow for the (sparse) trick or treaters.

It's SH's own Doctor Ruth Westheimer...
That's above and beyond the call of duty if you ask me Witchy, but if you do consultations, I have a couple of things you can help me with.
