Is there any chance of meeting these guys for a vanilla meet first? You might feel more secure having met them before you agree to play. To be honest you don't know that you can trust them until you've been able to get to know them. I don't know if you've been able to speak to them on the phone at all or exchanged pics.
Whatever you do, please let someone know where you are going if you can.

I'll agree with you that a polite and respectful approach to making contacts is infinitely preferable to the 'Woman wanted for shagging' routine - which is why quite often when the latter approach is used the poster tends to get some stick. This is done largely in a goodnatured if bantering style - so a sense of humour is essential round here!
In the short time that I've been on SH I've read and contributed to a number of threads, and not all of them have been directly sex-related - which is the beauty of this site. Yes, recreational sex between consenting adults may be its primary aim, but there is an awful lot more to the majority of people on here.
Some of us have already agreed that our initial reasons for joining the site have changed and we remain for the sake of the friendships we've formed.

The NW Munch was THE event of the Swinging Season - as you'll read in the Thanks to SteveG thread. About 70 happy swingers gathered in one place to meet, chat and network with no pressure other than to have fun and get to know one another.
Other munches are in the planning stages as you'll see on Let's Meet Up and I can only recommend every SH member to attend them. Certainly makes FriendsReunited school reunions look a bit tame!
There are some damn fine people on this site!
