I'm supposed to be running an e-commerce services company, but I seem to have swapped that recently for a role as a Cafe addict lol
Now I'd better give myself yet another written warning and get back to work. wink

Mine was when I first went away to school.
I'd heard the older boys talking about wanking etc and was very curious. Well, one night I was playing with myself, which I don't think I'd ever really done before and it was, quite simply earth shattering (and life changing), completely dry fortunately cos I was in a dormitory of 4 other young lads.
I really tried not to make too much noise I hope they really were all asleep, no one ever said anything to me.

So I set the tap to the right temp, got in, laid on my back and opened my legs with my clit perfectly positioned lol

Theres nothing quite like a power shower wink !!
I caught my young daughter playing with herself with the shower a couple of months ago, she wasn't sure whether to be embarrassed or not. I told her to not be embarrassed but generally keep it private and I left the room so she could carry on.
I want her to enjoy her body and grow up with no hang ups about her sexuality so she can enjoy all the experiences she can without feeling guilty about it. Do you think I handled it in the right kind of way?

Well I'm a chatterbox too, in virtually all the media mentioned. But I still talk (and listen) lots too.
I was on the Oxford tube from London last week and it was generally quiet, but not at the set of seats I was in, we had a party of conversation. There was a couple sitting opposite me who had been to a show the night before to celebrate the lady's birthday and next to me was avery interesting lady who is a legal person dealing with disputes in broken families. She loved opera and we discussed music and the arts, her work my work and business - it was fantastic. And we didn't get to know each others names or have any drinks - we just conversed biggrin
In supermarkets I usually look for the least happy or most bored looking checkout operator and smile and talk to them - its amazing how that sort of thing can change your whole day. It doesn't always work but most people really enjoy traditional verbal interaction no matter how mundane the situation may be.
So I don't think its a lost thing, it just takes a bit of courage to break the silence sometimes.
You may have guessed - I'm not very shy wink

I had a liaison with a girl who worked for me (back when I was a director of a company I didn't own) and it caused all sorts of trouble for me.
So I've been very cautious about that sort of thing ever since - but I'd hate to think I was chicken wink
One thing though, I know I'm not going to sack myself for inappropriate behaviour, but you've got to be soooooo careful.

Think I'm with Elissamay on the grunge thing, love that scene! Roundabout 1991 I would reckon.
The last couple of years have brough some good stuff though as well, I love Franz Ferdinand, Lostprophets, Kasabian, Funeral For a Friend and all that genre!

I agree with the grunge years too, everytime I listen to Ten by Pearl Jam I think 'what fantastic album', smae with Nirvana but they got so much more attention. I've recently got into Blind Melon from the same time.

I've just thought of another for 1977 - A Farewell to Kings by Rush, In my book their best album, but with Permanent Waves a very close second.

You need a big car

I've got a Land Rover Discovery - its brilliant so long as you get into the back, the front has a really annoying centre console thing that separates the seats too much. Still, its fine when the passenger seat is pushed bak and tilt down too

I'm no lover of Bush, Blair or any other politician but I don't thinks its nearly as simple as which person gets voted in.
Most politicians on a personal level are reasonable individuals (of the ones I've had dealings with).
Politics is more about how things look than how things are so all parties have become more concerned with image than substance.
Then there's the fact that politics attracts a certain sort of person - so we, the voting public, vote for or against individuals and parties.
To my mind the whole weakness in the system both sides of the pond have is that there is no way of voting for no-one and making that vote count, if you see what I mean.
How can we register our displeasure with those on offer? To not vote doesn't work, so the only options left are to vote for the lesser evil or spoil your paper, and neither of those get the message across.
My own view is that we need an official abstention, and the bigger the vote for no-one becomes the more likely that someone will notice that the current state of politics is not sustainable and hopefully change will happen.
But while we continue to vote in smaller and smaller numbers and return unrepresentative governments whose main objective is the gaining and retention of power and not the effective government of the state for the benefit of its people, nothing will change.
Sorry to be pessimistic - but it really is in our hands ultimately.

Congrats on 100 posts!
neil x x x ;).

biggrin Thanks Neil, I agree with you, there's so much good stuff about, there was a definite dip for me when house music was all the rage, it seemed like a musical dead end in a way (whoaaa, steady now!!!) but we seemed to get through that and 'proper' music just seemed to take up where it left off.
As you say, there were a few stalwarts about, not my favourites but they kept the faith - U2, Bruce Springsteen etc.
Last year was a cracker with bands like Evanescence and The Darkness appearing and also groups like Feeder breaking through and its carried on with Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand ,Maroon 5 and the Scissor Sisters - and I haven't even mentioned The Rasmus, Moist, Nickelback, Audioslave in the intervening years - but its still 1973 for me - and I was only in single figures then.

the 'lovely lady' on Sabbra Cadabra'?
LC

I've applied it to a few lovely ladies in my time, but often wondered who the original inspiration was.
The other Sabbath song with a very romantic theme, but horrible cover (Sabotage), is Symptom of the Universe, I'll quote:
Oh my child of love's creation, come and step inside my dreams
In your eyes I see no sadness, you are all that loving means
Take my hand and we'll go riding through the sunshine from above
We'll find happiness together in the summer skies of love
I always sing along to that bit - I'm a hopeless case really wink
