With all respect for your views and the views of the BBC, I believe that the words of the Catholic religious leaders may have been misinterpreted.
When one says 'condoms cause AIDS' one can mean that the availability of easy contraception causes people to fornicate uncontrollably therefore increasing their exposure to danger and sometimes condoms do break... so what if that one time you were happening to be doing it with an infected person?
When a nun tells her choir master who has is HIV + not to use condoms, perhaps what she is saying is that it is better to abstain at all lest he runs into an accident and infects his wife.
It is easy to take someone's words and pick and choose what suits you best to support your views. We were taught to do this at my American University. Well actually we were told NOT to do it but in fact were shown the way to write up a quick essay without examining all the facts and just as long as it sounded plausible and people were not going to open up the books to check our quotes we were alright. Same goes for journalism, unfortunately.
To answer your question, you can't take advantage of this fact (i.e. that women get hornier before their period as there is a last chance to conceive bell ringing in their heads) simply because you won't know it is happening!
Only with a regular girlfriend can you be aware of what's happening when and make sure you are available a day or two before she is due ;)
I loved Dr Who. It had the right amount of action, laughs and scary moments! The only thing that threw me was the night bus over the bridge (night buses come out after midnight...) and the shopping that people were doing. That was one lively London at what, 3 am? LOL I am sure none of the producers noticed the bus and probably not much of the audience did either. I tried to write to the BBC with my comments but it is so hard to find an email addy, their website seems to jump back and forth the same pages on the Contact Us link. Oh well!
I am single and I am looking for a relationship with a twist. I don't see why one can't have the best of both worlds: a man to rely upon and share life with and an active sexual life involving new experiences.
London is already overpriced and having the Olympics hosted would push the prices up more. This would be good for some people but for others, who are struggling to make ends meet on a daily basis, it would be disastrous as they would be pushed out of their accommodation by greedy landlords to house spectators to the Games.
At the recent Games held in Athens, most of the population had moved out of town as there were so many traffic restrictions that it was mayhem for the locals. And the years leading up to the Games were problematic too and very costly!
What makes us think that London transport will be able to cope with hordes of visitors pouring in when it cannot cope with basic rush hour traffic?
Just switched TV on and Trisha has a swinging couple as guests. Is it just me, or is the lady of the couple the same lady that appeared in the French Connection documentary couple of months or so ago? She now sports bleached hair but give her brown hair and she is the one from the couple that got to swing with the newcomers.
Oh now they reveal they have done movies as well!
Wow!
LOL
I also thought the actor looked a lot like our own Reese but having nodded off midway I began thinking he looked more like the father from Shameless. Whatever! He has an interesting face anyway. PIty the dramatisation does not flow well though.
PS: did you notice the wife of the geologist? She is blonde and British... Not as cute as our Vix but with a lot of potential.
Ever wondered how old are some girls you see in movies? Do you think you have good instinct about a person's age? Try this and find out!
I did it and the first few were young girls, all looking much older than their real age. Freaky!
