I've lost 4lb!!!!!!!
Sorry, i'm just amazed that I've lost anything at all, I wasn't even trying that hard and I've had at least 2 good drinking sessions and scoffed all the Pringles!

Me too... I got on the scales this morning expecting to not have lost a thing or worse... but a 4lb loss is what I got. smile I'm expecting the coming week to be harder though... smile

I never got hooked on cigarettes, so I can't offer any advice, but I can wish you the best of luck Alex kiss
Psychologically speaking smile
Mike.

Talking of 'pyschologically speaking'... have you any idea how hard your avatar is to someone on a diet as it portrays lots of gorgeous sugar! LOL
:sparring: get back sugar... I will beat you! smile

was interviewed a few days ago on TV (Work related).
Was wondering if anyone else has been on TV or been an extra etc?

Gave a very brief interview on Newsnight outside a building on a very cold night in NE Derbyshire where I was asked my opinion on a certain well known politician at the time.
Also filmed canvassing and then shown on Newsnight a year later... I thought... ewwww... look at that cube on legs... then realised it was me! biggrin
Shown being sat in the audience (sometimes yawning) at various political conferences...
Was interviewed by Radio 1's Newsbeat as we had hosted Ramon Stoppenburg ( ) for a weekend... Local Radio came round to interview him and me... was a laugh...
Again intereviewed at our local cinema when the first StarWars prequel was released... I really was highly disappointed with the film and made my feelings quite clear... My brother said he got fed up of listening to my nagging tones, on the hour - every hour all afternoon and evening! Hehehe!
Think that is it... my fifteen minutes of fame spread over the past 25 years...

Anyone seem a broken bridge nearby??

Hiya celticq, I must admit that was exactly my same thought... and I pondered further to wonder if a previous flouncee had possibly returned to yank our chains.. LOL

Hi Cathy
Glad to see you've taken the initiative on this.
You can count me in.
Wibblywobbly has made a good suggestion that the pub should be situated close to the M1 for those travelling from outta town. I have a suggestion for this if you'd like to PM me.
Chat soon
Mark

Yep - and seeing as I don't drive then venue wise suggestions would be good!
Will pm you marky543 and then pm wibbly later x
Going to throw in a date of Wednesday 19th January if you send me a pm to confirm then I'll make sure you get the details of where back.
Hope this sits well for all
Cathy x
Yes thanks Cathy for taking the initiative on this, as Mark said...
That date is currently fine by us... Jan 19th... Wednesday... do you think we would want to choose a place that served bar snacks/meals? I'll PM my phone number to you... give us a call at your convenience to discuss... lol
OOOooooooooops been a little dilatory in replying to this - hope it isn't too late for GT and me to come along! smile

Will start a thread on the lets meet up section - now don't see me sat in the pub on me own all night will ya? lol
Cathy x

LOL as if we'd do that!
OK... sounds like we have a forum at least for a mid week drink on day fairly soonish. smile
I think in fairness to those wishing to travel perhaps a quiet pub close to the M1 would be acceptable... ?
I see you are going to create a thread over in 'Let's Meet Up' Cathy... see you over there!! smile

Will there ever be a Yorkshire munch? I know there was once a thread about it but seems to have disappeared now? rolleyes

You got me thinking... why don't we Sheffielders/South Yorkshire folk meet up soon for a drink - mid week would be fine by us! A quiet pub me thinks where we can sit in a corner and chin wag! smile
If there is a favourable response maybe some kind Mod could move this to let's meet up?

Great news Calista, thanks for the update.
Here's to the continuing success of her treatment

Agreed with hearty concurrence! Just prior to seeing the new year in I had an ickle think about the year and your stepdaughter was in my thoughts at that time... Bigggg Hugggggggz!

The best bits are the rare bits where they actually look like theyre enjoying it

Agreed Clare... I remember one particular film that GT showed me where a couple were making love on top of a mountain. I use that phrase with care as they really did look like they were having a good time... It was sensual, erotic and caring... lovely. smile
Happppppppy New Year everybody!

and not forgetting the Deciples

Does that mean that St Peter et all preached very loudly?
Count me in too! smile
I'd be happy to get into a Marks and Spencers size 16... If there is one thing I've learnt is not to aim for the sky where dieting is concerned... step by step is the key... Vix is doing the right thing... aiming for something that is reasonable and when she gets there she may or may not feel like taking it further! smile
Positive mental attitude everyone! biggrin

I'd use a nice emoticon but they're buggering up tonight for some reason ....

Oh, and I was going to say that I am an anti-graphical-smilie-elitist (if it ain't ASCII it ain't work looking at - back in my day we were lucky to have text! And so on...) *grins*
Ut oh... we have a luddite in our midst smile
Welcome oh luddite lol

Hey ho...
Went to the opticians yesterday... and I'm now officially middle aged as I have been prescribed reading glasses... and boy do they make a big difference. No headaches from being sat at the PC for hours on end! Yippeeeeeeeeeee!
So... 44 and reading glasses... it is down hill from now on... ok then... downhill faster from now on!
This is a 'look at me post', direct from my PC to yours. smile

The film of my life is already in the pre-production stage and the casting director is very keen to get Great Uncle Bulgaria for the leading role.

He can make me pant any day smile
Quote by Ice Pie
why is it that sit up and sit down mean exactly the same thing

Dear Arnold... wasn't this covered recently in another thread over there ------------>?
I thought we had ascertained that to 'sit down' was to place one's behind on a chair or other agreeable place whereas 'sitting up' was sitting erect in the aforementioned piece of furniture...
Your truly,
Hermione

wink
Steve is gorgeous and sings wonderfully... he has got come to bed eyes in a lived in face and the loveliest, self effacing smile... I know the guy that first produced him... was at a party last night of a guy who'd paid for some his recordings... so I've got everything crossed that I may get to say hello to him - one day soon! biggrin

I've PM'd you my response lol

Oh my gosh.. redface
Now I know... wink
Insightful wasn't it!!
Yes... how long does it take to recover from that!
confused:
I'm probably going to end up at the receiving end of someone's vitriolic reponse to this comment but I have to ask why some members of SH send someone a PM and then contribute to a thread by informing the recipient of the PM publicly that they've been PM'd...
It confuses the hell out of me as presumably you PM them 'cos your communication is exactly that... PRIVATE! rolleyes
Not having a go... as I could be missing something obvious here...

Sinlge male swingers HAVE to be exceptional - looks, body, cock size., personality in no particualr order

Hiya Cc... have to agree with you... There are a handful of men on here that I met at the Notts Munch and it is their humour, intelligence and overall personality that I found to be attractive... the fact that none of them need a pork chop attached to them to get their pet dogs to play with them helps I agree but it is personality first and foremost.
What comes across from these guys is their appreciation and respect of women and we women do so like that! ;)
I've tried explaining to my ex that women generally prefer intelligence, humour and respect in their men that to hunky good looks with no backbone... but he won't believe me...
