Do you come here to make friends and enjoy a bit of friendly banter?
Do you come here to meet people and possibly further relationships?
Do you come here to read the mindless drivel that we sometimes love and sometimes hate? :doh:
Do you come here to make as many posts as possible in order to be top biller? Not any more you don’t!
Do you come here to have a pop at others? If so piss off.
I have seriously sat and thought about what attracts me to the Café and have found, if I am honest with myself, that I come to see if old friends are here and to find out who’s new in town. I love the threads that kick off into full-scale arguments because they are so entertaining. I love to watch people post those threads that are “poor me, I need sympathy, please be my friend†because I find them quite sad in a funny sort of way. The threads that are just bloody ridiculous, like ping pong, have had their day but were fun at the time. There are classics old and new, it comes with the territory so I take it all for what it is.
I don’t have the time to write long posts anymore and so the odd quip here and there to let friends know I’m still alive (Fred’s under the patio)
is all I can manage. (poor me, I need sympathy, please be my friend) : :rotflmao:
I’ve watched this place for some time now. People come and people go and the dynamics change. I take all sorts of things from the café (whilst Sarge isn’t looking) I only wish I could put more back.
So sit and ponder a while and tell me why you come here.

I can see you now thumbing your way through the catalogue for all those little gadgets to help you on with your socks, remove the hair from your ears and nose and those designer pants that you can pee in all day without visiting the loo.
