Thank you lovely peoples. kiss At this early hour I almost feel I'm intruding into the thread rolleyes
So I'll be back later, and, quite possibly, merrier. wink
Wait for it.
I don't own a bottle of perfume. I just prefer not to smell of anything. One obviously has a natural odour- I can live with that. But artificially concocted chemicals in a jar? Nah.
There's someone here who is in turmoil. They've made some pretty daft judgements. However, they remain one of the loveliest people I don't really know. They made those decisions for the right reasons.
They're stronger than they realise- and they will get through this. Trust me, I appear to be psychic. wink
When the rain is blowing in your face, and the whole world is on your case, I can offer you a warm embrace, to make you feel my love.
:therethere:
I think we all have a threshold- but it's continually pushed. We become inured (not quite the right word, but close) to something, and then move onto something more hardcore. Much like a drinker needing a higher ABV for the same effect, or a drug user using harder drugs etc.
Off for some meths...
Res, I've just written "Res' place" in chalk on the sofa next to me. Don't mind if I rest me weary tootsies on your lap do you? biggrin
Perhaps *the SH powers* could make an informative, educational public informaton video and put it on you tube? They could give it a swinging slant to appeal to the target audience. Give it a catchy title, and people would watch in droves. I'd suggest;
"Swine Flu over the Cuckolds Nest"

It's not informative.
It's not interesting.
It is a joke, right?

That's another thing you have in common with my OH- but I bet he has more shoes. rolleyes
My current ringtone is pretty apt- Bad influence by Pink.
As for the bit about underwear- I'm wondering if my lacies are still flying high above the tram rails on Sarfend Pier!
I've spent the weekend surrounded by amazing people- all of whom mercilessly rip the p*ss out of me, but manage to do it in such a loving manner.
Saving a very tiny new life :bounce:
Having people travel hundreds of miles because they care. :rose:
And reaching an arrangement with a dear FWB that in the family home we will keep contact *pre-watershed*- and reaching a new level of understanding as to just how difficult it is to be a vanilla entwined in a three way relationship. confused Now it's apparant, I do think this can work long term. Mind you, I guess 5 years  is pretty long term.
Oh, and fabulous *house back to yourself* mid afternoon, noisy as hell sex.
*Witchy is very sleep deprived, apologies for wittering.

I've not had an incident close enough to me that has caused me to think and then become a different thinking person thereafter, however I do get lost in thought, enough that I get engrossed in my thinking to the exclusion of those around me. They can say something to me and I don't hear it, so in that sense I guess my brain is working, but thinking about it now it's seldom on important matters, an example would be cake mix.
We don't cook in our house, but I was fortunate to be round the sister in laws house when she was making a cake, it was even more fortunate that I won the coveted bowl and spoon she had used for the mixture as her kids were out. Now I've loved cake mix since I was a kid, wouldn't give you tuppence for the cake but the mix...heaven, finger in, face in, anything to get every last bit. I've never understood why anyone would want to take a sweet, smooth, soft foodstuff that helter skelters round the mouth with flavour and turn it into a dry, dull thing like a cake, anyways thats what got me thinking.
I know you can buy cake and dry cake mix in the shops, but they dont sell a wet mix, one that you could just rip open and eat. Could it be done? was I the only person who liked it enough to buy it as a sweet treat? How big a spoon and bowl would I need if it took off?....and a whole list of other thoughts that were deep enough that I was glad when I went to bed and forgot it, cos it just kept pinging around in my head and wouldn't go away, even though I knew I was in La La Land again.
Probably not along the lines you were thinking about, but in short, yes at times I do think and think very deeply, unfortunately those thoughts are, on reflection, mostly shite.

I would imagine they don't do it because of the raw egg. dunno
