My desktop is pretty tidy - very few shortcuts on the left hand side - hate having loads of things cluttering it up like some people do .
Windows backgrounds usually something from a movie, occasionally a holiday ski pic ... currently it's the Spiderman 3 teaser image of the black costume.

If I were a single male and rebuffed with such a remark as a scumbag I'd be damn glad I hadn't taken things further with the person in question.
It may be a swinger's site but it's not always about sex, often it's about power and oneupmanship and it can give some people of dubious standards a buzz abusing and manipulating others rather than stating a polite 'no thank you'.
As others have said, if you remain true to yourself and a polite and well meaning individual you will stand out from the idiots.

I've just used that site and discovered that I'm in London! :shock: :shock: I suspect it finds the location of the IP and not the actual locality as it's about 350 miles out!

Same here ... I AM in London, but then so what? Doesn't get you very far ... as someone said, something like a full postcode would be much more precise as it narrows the search down to a street/row of houses.
As for firewall ... everyone should have one of those plus an antivirus ... Windows XP comes with it's own one and you can download free ones off the web, I think Acronis is one such firewall .
You can get Nortons Internet Security which is firewall and antivirus combined and costs between £30 and £50 . Good thing about that is that you can install it more than once so if you club together with a couple people and split the cost it's great value.

Well I'm REALLY looking forward to the cold weather coming back!
Unfortunate timing all round for me as ...
I've been near 2 weeks with no fridge freezer - last one gave me a good 13+ years service so can't complain about that but this is without doubt worst timing possible! New one doesn't get here till Saturday ... I can't wait!
Plus, as I got my cat on Sunday, I've had to keep all external doors and all windows closed so that he doesn't get out before the recommended 3 - 5 weeks settling in period are over. Think it'll have to be 5 weeks as he's not been owned before so I need to be certain he'll come back before I risk letting him out.

Hard to say really, I find that with most/all swinging clubs, it's not necessarily about how many people are there, couple/singles etc ... some of the busiest nights in terms of numbers can be completely 'dead' and some quiet nights with low numbers can be the opposite.
Think it basically the case that it's the mix of people on the night that make it or not ...

They can view the site and put an ad up, but they can't post in the forum, use the chatroom or send pm's
The admin gave all users who joined the site prior to Dec 05 "Premium Membership" for 1 year to be reviewed this December.
If they hadn't made this decision, come December you would have to pay to use the site the way you do now.

After some weeks of negotiations with Battersea - I just picked up my cat today Did consider a dog but ruled it out as I don't think I'm around enough to care for it properly, take it for walks etc etc ... cats are a bit more independant and self sufficient though still a big responsibilty. Got to say, they are pretty damn strict about whether or not they'll let you take one of their cats and the fact that I'm out at work weekdays and intending to let the cat out for the daytime was a bit of a sticking point for them even though I was getting a cat cabin for it.
Early days but he seems to be settling in ok, though I've picked up a couple scratches already! :cry: !

Had been talking about fetish clubs with a friend of mine for some time then one day I just decided that I'd go so hired an outfit and went along to Torture Garden ... through one of the fetish clubs I heard about a swingers club 'Mystique' (now defunct I think) and basically it's gone on from there. Think the actual question is - do you cheat on your wife or not? Personal opinion on the rights/wrongs of this aside ... the answer would be something like, do what you feel comfortable with - if you did it and got away with it, would you feel ok about it or would guilt hit you? Then say you got away with it but you wife one day finds out - what would that do to her and does that matter?
