..well here we are..a few rays of sunshine and already my thoughts are turning to outdoor, carnal fun opportunities!
Winter has been with us too long..and I've almost forgotten the hedonistic fun that a warm breeze and a starry night allow us..so the question is..what do you enjoy best about summer??
cool cool cool

Ok I have to admit to thinkin - ooh I can put the washin out to dry redface
Apart from the mucky stuff I like the sitting out and socialising bit of it. The kids off school and not having to stick to routines, neighbours in and out of the house.
I did notice that lovely clear sky last night and the stars.......

Well take a look on some porn sites featuring "chicks with dicks" or "shemales" ( not my words) and then say you cannot find them attractive !

er, i've seen many "shemales" and i can spot them a mile off. some men only think with their dicks but there are some of us with intelect that can sus them out straight away.
Kreeger, from your past posts, limited that they are, I have noticed you don't really have a good word for anyone or anything. Your limited posts have been a tad negative and of a one line style. I actually doubt that you have seen 'Many' shemales as you put it because if you had done so then you would not be referring to trans-people with the title of 'shemale' as this is a term not generally used here in the UK even within the Trans community. Its well used in USA, Brazil and the far east and here it is somewhat frowned upon anyway. In the UK we tend to use the term TS (Transsexual) and TV (Transvestite) I therefore suspect you have very limited knowledge of a complex subject and and even more complex community.
With you reference to being able to "spot them a mile off" your words, then I doubt that even more, as in some cases I have had to asked politely myself in the past if the person I am talking to is trans or gender female and I have been around this community all my life. I wonder what you base your super human observation on. Would you not consider your reply a little on the arrogant side? Or are you infallible? If so please pass on your secret to all of us.
Judy.

...bloody well said Judy!

To be honest and judging from a lot of people I have spoken with, been in PM with etc - there are many, many who only come here for the social side and the friendship.
Lot's of these first joined with the intention of dipping their toes and getting a bit extra spice in their lives, but have since realised that the openness and friendliness provides satisfaction in itself.
I'm not really a swinger although hubby and I fantasise about it a lot - and it may yet stay a fantasy (or there again it may not wink ). But I have many friends on here. Many I have met, many I have still yet to meet.
I have had fun at a munch, had a riot at an Ann Summers Party (ty again Angel), had a coffee with a black dalek, had lunch with very good friends In Shrewbury, enjoyed dinner and good conversation with a lovely member or two, formed lasting friendships with others (one in particular who we don't see in here any more) and recently found a kinship with a wonderful couple who I hope will become lasting family friends with hubby and me.
I know this site was originally set up for swingers and would-be swingers but unlike many other internet sites it has become much more. It has become a community in it's own right. And like all well balanced communities there are people from all walks of life and of all sexual persuasions. The only thing different about this one is that people are more open and honest about their feelings and also can indulge in good clean or downright dirty fun.
In the main, people are not judged. Occasionally we have the purists who say that this place should only be for swingers - but my feeling is that it would be a far poorer place if that were to ever happen.
All in all - this is a wonderful place.
Long may it stay inhabited with 'swingers', 'would-be swingers', 'not-a-chance-ever-swingers' and 'what is this swinging thing anyway' people. And also - those (tongue in cheek here) married people here without partners knowledge (god forbid! rolleyes ) - because some of those are nice, normal fun loving people who just want a laugh and a relax without harming anyone. I should know wink
OMG I have rambled on ........ and I haven't even had a drink!
I'll shut up now! biggrin
Hugs,
Alex x x x

...well I enjoyed your 'ramblings' Alexandra....thanks for that smile smile

I suspect that there are quite a few of those, and why not? As long as they enjoy the site and don't try and judge those on here who DO like to swing then I don't think that there is a problem

sorry to hear that Rainbows...I guess your friend's reaction is a typical one from people not involved in this kind of community. 'Normal' folks often feel threatened by swingers, as they think that we have rejected 'conventional' lifestyles in order to pursue something better, so they feel when we make such a confession that we're saying 'monogamy is boring' and they take it as a personal crticism of how they live. I found a similar situation after my divorce, my 'friends' were fine when I was unhappy and living in restricted circumstances, but once I'd got myself sorted and found fresh and new happiness, their attitudes towards me changed negatively.
Hope your friend comes to realise that you are not a different person or advocating swinging as suitable for everyone..or even worse going to try and nick her husband!!
:P :P :P
..I'm having my very own Afro Caribbean version of a blonde moment...someone please tell what 'nn' means!!

why white rabbits? confused

This is from a book by Jake Gardner called "Modern Man, Churl, Villain, or Jester
(I was still puzzled when I read it)
In Europe, through the Middle Ages until about Shakespeare's time, the economies of most countries, including especially those where the inhabitants were the ancestors of the English-speaking peoples, were continuing to emerge from the hunter-gatherer traditions that had marked the end of the Stone Age into the modern versions of these traditions that we see today. As hunters, men needed meat, as well as animal furs to protect them from the harsh winters of Northern Europe. The rabbit was sometimes useful for both purposes, but because the rabbit was viewed as a predator on the very fields that man himself was learning how to cultivate, the elimination of rabbits became a desirable purpose for man the farmer/hunter. In this case, man the hunter was generally man the trapper, and since rabbits were not his only prey, he soon noticed that the taking of a rabbit in a trap was usually a precursor to the taking of other small animals, such as foxes and badgers, that might use the same game trail. Cf. Shakespeare:
‘Tis not but a mere rabbit,
For where runs the rabbit,
There 'tis the habit Of running the fox.
-- All's Well That Ends Well, IV, iii, -21.
Therefore, the rabbit was viewed as a sign of good luck to come; and the rabbit's foot, the part of the animal that was caught in the trap, came to seem especially lucky.
Many of these people were still influenced by fairly simple religions, like that of the Druids in Great Britain. For the priests or medicine men of these faiths, the monthly cycle of the moon usually assumed great importance; so any farmers or hunters who wanted to try to assure good luck in the coming cycle would repeat talismanic oaths in the way taught to them by their religious leaders. Therefore, on the first of the month, anyone wishing to pray to his or her primitive gods for good luck during the month ahead might repeat a simple charm, such as "Rabbit, rabbit, rabbit"; or "lucky rabbit, lucky rabbit;" or--because of the association of the color white with the sun and with virtue--"white rabbit, white rabbit, white rabbit." An interesting variant, which in our own time has given a title to novel by John Updike, came from people who for their own reasons could understand the plight of the trapper's prey: "Run, rabbit, run."
Even today, people cling to these superstitions; and an elder of the Fudd family, of the Beverly Hills west of Lincolnshire, who claims to be himself a warlock and one of the last surviving Druids, admits that it matters little which incantation one uses, since anything that anyone feels brings good luck is clearly a worthwhile habit so long as the luck continues.
This aging gentleman, known to his descendants as Grandfather Elmer, takes note that in his lifetime; the incantation "White rabbit, white rabbit, white rabbit" has been abbreviated to, "Wabbit, wabbit, wabbit."

Does it make sense to anyone else wink
..thanx Steph, you've solved a 40 year mystery for me! :P :P
