yes I'm the other way round too...on here you can be a bit more liberated, as we're not completely bound by the usual social conventions (although looking at some recent threads, that might not be the case!)..having said that because you can't see someones face or hear the intonation in their voice, things that are well meant (innocent flirting, humour) can get mis construed and taken the wrong way
...this is a great ice breaker..but I guess to develop any kind of relationship you need the face to face thing too.

Come on guys - give the mods a break (oh except for Chicken Legs - he's rusty and needs some polishing up :twisted: ).
These people work hard voluntarily, to keep this site the successful site it is. When you have been here long enough you will be able to almost instantly realise why a thread has been locked yourself. And sometimes you may even wish you had the magic buttons to lock some yourselves!
Arguing relentlessly about whether threads should be locked or not is pointless. Let the mods get on a regulate the site in the way that MARK wants them to.

Folks are genuinely concerned about this issue and everyone so far has made valid points. The mods certainly have a tough job just moderating the ads and with the success of this site comes also an increase in abuses which need regulating. But it's not just the mods that make this site/forum successful, it's also the hundreds of posters that invariably post on subjects that engage, amuse and yes sometimes irritate others..but isn't that just a reflection of society in general? Being here in itself says something about who we are..doesn't it? People involved in this alt lifestyle tend to be more liberated, open minded and hopefully more understanding than your average person and probably deserve at least a fair hearing of what ever they want to get off their chest at a particular time. It's a shame that people are now shallow breathing, worrying about what they're going to post and the negative reaction it might receive.
I have no idea why these posters have had their threads locked/deleted and it may appear to them as though it has been done arbitrarily..which does appear rude. Maybe if a post does not break any obvious rules, in terms of being abusive, offensive etc, then maybe it should be left, until a mod finds time to pm that member to explain why?

I agree with you entirely, but wonder if perhaps it goes a bit deeper than this. The programme was giving the overview of what actually happened to Frankie on her journey. The fact that she had previously self harmed etc suggests that she has done some thinking. At the end up, i saw her as being a woman who was much more able to accept who she was, and why.
An experience is an experience. Being able to take the "bad" experience and actually learn from it, allows our perception of the "bad" experience, to then become a good expereince because of what was learned as opposed to how you learned it.
She went into it with an open mind, and fortunatley for her, she remained open minded throughout the entire experience allowing her to reach the finishing conclusions without any regrets of any kind. It also brings in what the perception of "vulnerability" actually is. Who defines it etc?

you may well be right Little and yes, she certainly did come out of it ok and maybe her porn experiences were necessary to achieve this...but wow..it was a high risk strategy!! yes she was gorgeous and obviously enjoyed a great lifestyle (Porche Boxster etc), but I knew I would be feeling terribly sorry for her by the end. Nope read it right alspals, it was definately the old £. Now I've discounted the first 15 years on account of only buying gallons of Brut 55 for next to fuck all, the odd packet ofplayers number 10s, and several bathfulls of Clearasil. I've discounted the last 5 years that aint happened yet on the reckoning that the Readers Digest, some 'cure all' suppositories and the odd packet of Wurthers originals don't add up to a whole hill of beans.......this means that I should be a fair way through my allowance and the truth of the matter is .....I ain't. Now admittedly I've got £100 tucked away in the boot of my car just in case.......in case of what I don't know....but it's there just in case, yet despite adding that to the 'spent pot' I just can't make the sums work which definately means..............................................................there's a thief in the cafe! :shock:
