I liked the NG, and as for being PC, it's true but I'd imagine the original was just a voicepiece for its era as well. It's hard to imagine the original is over 40 years old! And looking at it now, William Shatner is such a crap actor, but it's great to watch!
Yeah, but DS9and Voyager were better - they both showed that Starfleet was far from being the perfect society that TNG portrayed, particularly when Janeway got nasty....... :eeek:

I'm ambidextrous, although for most of my life I was made (when at school anyway) to write with my right hand.
Then I got into medieval re-enactmend and found the joys of wandering the battlefield with two swords. The look on people's faces as that comes towards them is priceless! duel

Please oh please stop putting no one liners when actually a one liner can be very useful in getting to where you need to be.

I agree, the books are far better than the films, I mean what happened to Tom Bombadil and the Barrow Wraiths for a start :shock:

What was odd coming out of the cinema after seeing The Two Towers was the number of people who were saying that they thought Gollum was one of the good guys!

i have a very good book on "the scottish clans & their tartans" from 1825 only a couple of pages on each clan but a very good book :) :)
It's well worth it - if you're interested in other titles, feel free to ask me, I'm doing my degree in Scottish History and have my own personal library now!
