I must admit that I wanted to learn how to ride a bike and was going to until I got kncked off twice during the first lesson.
Mind you, Lissa's pics are making me want to start again!
Personally, I've always taken the point of view that you talk to someone on a board or in a chatroom the same as if you were standing next to them.
It is annoying that some people (mostly males) do take the "I'll shout that I have a big cock" attitude, but it's worht bearing in mind that they're not doing themselves any favours by this.
At least that's how I see things.

As for the chat room, I don't know hun. I went in there a couple of times after the takeover and ran away screaming and mouthing obscenities..................
Well that was your fundamental mistake Lissa. After careful observation it’s clear that you are supposed to stay in the room and scream and shout obscenities.
:evil2:
by the way does my bum look big in this?

So I'm not supposed to try and be polite then?
 Yes Byron you are, this was just my poor attempt at sarcasm. For every nice polite person in the room there also seems to be a loud obnoxious twat. Unfortunately as always, the loudmouths spoil it for the rest. Please keep being polite and respectful and maybe the twats will just get fed up and go.
I try to be nice and respectful, unfortunately when all you get is people shouting a/s/l at you, it gets a bit annoying after a while. confused
But at least there are a few nice people using it and the ones behaving like arses have only themselves to blame if people aren't interested in them
Hope you have fun in your new country! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
:welcome: Hello! :welcome:
What are you studying in Glasgow?

If all you want is a shag, then go to Amadeus (nightclub in Aberdeen)

Amadeus has long gone, closed for a few years now but there are plenty other catle markets to get what you want
You're kidding me?
Smegging hell, I used to work there!
I only left 5 years ago!

Jim has just rung me and said that his work wants him to come in tomorrow.
I think not
I will sue them if they make him mad :x :x

He should be allowed time off, surely?
Doesn't his loyalty (trying to protect the works van) count for somehing?
Please pass on my best even though I don't know you both.
As someone who has also been the victim of crime, he has my heartfelt sympathies.

Start by asking your new woman what she wants. wink

Speaking as a Dom....
That's the best place to start. Ask her what she likes, what she dislikes and work from there. Also ask about any medical conditions that can affect play. I used to have a subbie who was epileptic - we tailored play around this.
There is a large UK fet scene, a quick google search will show you places you can go, including many Fetish clubs. There are also many Fetish Munches around the UK - go to one and meet up with people and talk to them - we all started somewhere and people on the Fet scene areveryfriendly!
If you decide to go toa fet club, a few rules you may want to bear in mind:
If someone is playing, don't stand and watch unless they say it is OK.
Don't interupt someone who is playing
Remember it's a Fet club not a swingers club: A lot of clubs will throw you out for any hanky-panky!
Always follow the clubs dress code - otherwise you won't get in!
Have fun!

Do women in aberdeen just like to receive replys just so they can wack off over the pics?
or just to damn choosy, what are they after the perfect male? in aberdeen??
this is a swinging site not a dating agency, at least have the decency to reply and get some feedback.

If all you want is a shag, then go to Amadeus (nightclub in Aberdeen), otherwise try to get to know people here a bit first.

hi looking for some black pussy ect phil

I understand the desire for black pussy, but what is ECT? Is it short for ectoplasm? Is he after a dead blcack pussy? If so that is sick.

Isn't that one of the things that they should out in ER whenever they bring a patient in? As in "Get me an ECT, BBC, ITV and toastie, stat!"
Maybe it's a bubble bath with champagne on ice like you see in some films dunno
Remember that a cat isn't just for Xmas...
...That's what turkeys are for!
The kind of friends that I have are all pretty liberal and already know what I'm into.
To them it's not an issue.
I'm careful in making friends as I have met people who will quite happily stab you in the back, thus my friends are always pretty liberal types.

I was in a debate on another forum (Proudly holding our corner - fuck what people think) where several people believed that nearly every female swinging was OBVIOUSLY in an abusive, unstable and cruel relationship.

I've heard the same said about people on the fet scene - the woman are supposed to be all abused and the men mentally unstable.
As with a lot of other things, it's ignorance hiding itself as fact.
I sometimes think that the best attitude to have is the old Scots Calvinist attitude - one of "What you do is your business and no-one else's"
I should add that it's a BIG forum and it seemed to echo the scary opinions of the average population. I don't think it's gonna happen soon - not until people figure out that because somebodies lifestyle is different doesn't automatically make it immoral or evil.

There are sadly still people like that - I remember being in a bar when the news of the Harold Shipman murders was coming to light. One idiot was heard to say that it was inevitable "Because there was one of they wife swapping clubs down there".
When I asked him what he meant, he said "It's obvious"
I asked again and he said "Fuck off ya pervert"
It's a sad fact of life that there will be people who will always hold these attitudes, what's even sadder is that many of them work in the media.

Sometimes people have to hear unpleasant truths.

Well ,when I did my training as a counsellor the two main things that was majored on was ...Never give a personal opinion
Never give advice
and certainly never give home truths unpleasant or otherwise.
Basically a counselling role is about listening and NOT about advising. That should be left to people such as the Citizens Advice bureau where they have specialist professionals to give unpleasant truths.
Jude

Jude, a lot of what I did was Outreach stuff, and we had to tackly some really disturbing things (I won't go into details: I'm sure you can imagine). The best thing we found was to tackle it head-on - telling people to stay away from person A could sometimes be part of that, due to person A having a bad reputation.
It may not have been professional of us, but we did keep people away from a lot of shit.
If you're going to Australia, don't worry as it has (so I'm told) a very good swinging scene, as well as the legendary friendliness of the Aussies themselves. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

byron, what you are problably not reading is that all this is not taking place every morning, noon and night! I said an average of 6-7 weeks. If it is coming across that I am trying something every day then I am sorry - but having sex only 6.5 times a year is rather frustrating, you must admit?

It is and I agree, sorry, was reading you wrong about this.
But I do think you should go to Relate or somewhere like that, it would be better if you got to the bottom of this for both your sakes.
Oh.
But, that's not expressing a personal opinion though is it? More like factual information

But where does factual information become personal opinion?
I'll give you an example:
Person A claims she has depression (this is again from the course and not someone I saw) and needs to take Prozac. The Doctor prescribes the Prozac. Yet Person A is also someone who uses drugs recreationally and drinks alcohol. So at what point do you say that they can't do the latter two if they are on Prozac? The facts are that the drink and drugs are blocking out the effects of the anti-depressants, however, it may also be in this person's interests to lay off the drink/drugs so that they are easier to deal with and they can see their problems more easily. But which of the lst bit is factual information or personal opinion? I'd go for both.

True, although I was also once a counsellor.

I don't mean this in a rude or provoking way byron, but for somebody who used to be a counsellor you didn't half jump to conclusions a bit quick.
Well I'm sorry, but your posts were all the same - how you would do this, that and the next and expect sex in return. A romantic weekend away does not have to involve sex. Sometimes some people just want the companionship rather than anything else. Sorry, but that's how you're coming across to me.

Um, I'll give you an example that we got on the course:
What if someone is practicing unsafe sex? Sometimes the only way to get through to people is to find a way to drive the message home. You can be nice about it and explain the risks, or you can give them a shock and try to bring them to see what the problem is that way.
Either way was acceptable to us, although we had a preference for trying to be nice about it.

No, I used to co-habit.

Ok, then maybe like me you're not the best person to give advice here dunno
True, although I was also once a counsellor.
counsellors are not meant to express personal opinions are they - non-judgmental confused

Yes and no. I was a counsellor (until a right-wing member of the local council stopped our funding) for an LGB project and you do have to sometimes give personal opinions. Sometimes people have to hear unpleasant truths.
So am I Byron! Hiya

Hello - what field do you work in?
