Living in another country when you have a very limited knowledge of the language can be relatively easy if you're surrounded by other ex-pats but not so simple when you're not, as was my case. After living in northern Germany for a couple of months and only really speaking the language of "lurrve" I knew something had to change. Anna was quite good at speaking English (a lot of Germans are, annoyingly) so I had a ready ma...

Previously I have told you how we met and a little bit of fun that we had on our first couple of dates. This follows our journey from the first meets to us living together in Germany as fully fledged partners. The hurdles getting together in an apartment were not insubstantial - we were both married to others and our separations gradually morphed into divorce proceedings. Anyway we did and surprisingly it lasted 16 years. I kn...

This goes back to the 1970s - 1978 in fact when I was 20 years old and still quite inexperienced. Yes I had had sex with quite a few girls but with one exception it was all very vanilla. I used to go to a hospital social club quite a bit (I'm not even sure they have such things now) but it was very popular; frequented by doctors, nurses, physios, porters - you name it they went there. A lot of people I knew on a first-nam...
