I think single men get a real bad name

And that is pretty much why I stopped.
I can see why you would but you shouldn't let it spoil your fun.
Its just a pity people like you have to make twice as much effort as anyone else purely because you work odd hours and aren't free at the drop of a hat.
Essex kiss
Thank you. But a generally held opinion on single males has definitely made things more difficult, to the point where all heart and interest has been lost.

Hmmmm.......
so if a Single guy works weekends and was actually only available in the weekday.. would this make you think he was cheating?
i'll add my views as a single male.
like a lot of couples complain that "guys expect you to meet at the drop of the hat"... there are a lot of couples that expect that of Single guys or Girls when they have all of a sudden got a "free weekend". just because we are single.. it doesn't meant we are free 100% of the time... Work, family, prior Non Swinging arrangements.
the only way to find the good single guys.. is to chat to them, and watch how they chat to others... the decent Single guys will make the effort to get to know people, they know that to get a "meets" you need to put the effort in, they will also chat to both parts of a couple, and not just the female there are a lot of decent single guys about, and we are not all liars, cheats and carrying the plague. (some of us.. do actually know how to tell the truth)

Thank you.

The only thing I agree with him on is our taste in men I think....
I had no idea Brucie wanted a piece of me?

A little light humour, please don't post anything that may offend a fellow user.
I'm fed up of Happy Birthday threads...email the person.
What's yours?

It's my birthday next month, I hope you start a thread for me.
You let me down!

I'm sure I've got this in y diary as 21st Dec 2012........must have got it wrong :lol2:

That might be the date as given by the Mayan's. Someone must be hedging their bets.

If a couple are on here and play as a couple but then one person decides to play alone without telling or discussing it with their partner is it classed as cheating?

If it goes outside of the groundrules set within the relationship, or one/both in the relationship considers it deceit, then yes, it is cheating.

So, please try to make it clearer to me because I`m really not following what you`re getting at.

A guess.
I constantly read in forums and profiles, that people in swinging are so open minded. By having such definite opinions, and quick to judge, this is a wrong way to be in the swinging scene.
As I said, it is a guess.

Harsh. Clearly society has given a damn, and continues to give a damn about the fact Madeleine is missing, presumed dead by most I think?

I have seen more mention of Madeleine's name on Sickipedia than in the general mainstream media. The media will only report stories, if a) it sells papers b) it suits them. You say society gives a damn, but who would ordinarily sell more books, Kate McCann, or Katie Price?
The Sun serialises the book, the headline grabbing parts get published, and before a lot of people would either read or think of reading the book, their opinion is already formed, the jokes continue to be sent by text or email, and very shortly after, the next story is their focus.

That and the Canadian WW 1 memorial near Vimy, plus some of the WW 2 concentration/death camps, are haunting / thought provoking places for all, more should visit.

Yesterday I was at Cambrai, and had a few moments walking in a memorial graveyard there. It certainly is thought provoking.

Surly we must be bound by the same laws/morals that we expect others to live by?

Isn't this view a lot of the problem? Hasn't the American led coalition pretty much said to other nations "We are going to force democracy and our values/morals on you, we don't care about your heritage and traditions, we just want to control you in a way that fits in with our way of life and thinking"?

Can't see that the USA has done anything they need to apologise to anyone about.
John

Storming into someone's back yard, and what appears to be an unlawful killing? I'd say there is enough to be apologising for, especially to the Pakistani authorities, and to the coalition in general. The hunt for Bin Laden has taken 10 years, and a number of countries have tugged on the coat tails of America's vendetta, pumping enormous resources into what has effectively been a fruitless manhunt.
America had the intel, they performed the mission, they took the glory. But it is now being reported that Al-Qaida has now vowed to seek revenge on the U.S. and it's allies (which includes the UK) as well as reports claiming the U.S. had Bin Laden monitored for months.
I'd say they have a lot to apologise for, especially as it is now my view, that the Americans will now see this as largely job done, so if (for arguments sake) there was a serious terrorist attack on the U.K tomorrow, I can imagine the American's saying the usual "it is an abhorrent attack" speech, but would give no further , I'd say they have a lot to apologise for.
Unless it was an attack by the Irish !
Then they`d be funding the whole operation.
Would that be NORAID or McDonald's?

Yes, I'd say they have a lot to apologise for.
I find wearing a balaclava and waving gaffa tape tends to portray a particular message after munches and socials.
And now the Pakistani authorities are more than miffed with the Americans over this incident.

Probably quite true Max, but I still find what they have done hard to except. If he resisted then that makes things easyer to stomoch, but if not, then to me, what they have done is murder, and make them no better than he was, IMO....

Depends on who you are on about. If it's the guys who pulled the trigger, then they are trained killers, trained to obey orders.
It's further up the tree you may need to look....

Seems Obama and a select few watched the operation against Bin Laden filmed from a camera mounted on a Navy Seals helmet.
I`m going to assume that all of the Seals were wearing cameras .......
So....was this the ultimate in sicko voyeurism or should politicians and old men sending young men to war be made to watch the consequences of their orders ?
What if it had all gone horribly wrong ?

There are pictures of Obama and Clinton, along with others watching something they find disgusting.

'Just another Muslim' what?
Whilst I think your post raises a good point, in raising awareness of the diversity of our armed forces, it also presupposes that we think all Muslims are the same.
I know I don't.

a lot do.
after the london bombings a poll was carrid out amonst muslims. 33% of them either agreed with the bombers or had simpathy with them. go figure
sorry but a lot of peeple would not trust a muslim that is a fact of life that the current and past bombings have led peeple to think that way. you may not but many peeple do and sorry to say i feel that way to.
Then why hasn't there been a similar mistrust of the Irish within these shores?

Hi All
Was wondering if somebody may be able to help, I have been trying to cancel my account for varying reasons for a couple of days now but the e-mail with the code required to cancel my accont doesn't seem to be coming through to my e-mail, have checked my junk folder, and the contact us but down the options on the left side of my page isn't working.
What should I do now?!
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Sam

Best thing you can do, is post some downright nasty abuse at a fellow member, you would have your account deleted pretty sharpish smile

Aww, gawd.
The Cambridge Dictionary:
lecturer noun
Definition:
someone who teaches at a college or university.
If a university lecturer is not a teacher, and post grads are past the stage of being impressionable - ie not in their place to be influenced in the furtherance of their education...
What do lecturers actually do to command their salary and why do post grads actually bother going back to university?
No wonder the UK educational system is in such a fucking mess with lecturers who don't teach (but admit to smoking odd smelling substances whilst sat under a tree) and students who are not at University to learn.
Beggars belief.
Incidentally, the nuances of the double entendre in my reference to gravity seem to have been lost on you. Perhaps your mind was elsewhere?

Well this is the first time I have looked at this forum and it will certainly be my last. Half the people who have attacked my husband I recognise as people who have contacted us and been rejected-including the writer of this message -sour grapes perhaps, and rather pathetic in boys let alone men .Both they, and the other half moreover seem incapable of expressing themselves properly in their own language and if they can, demonstrate that their vocabularies are nonetheless limited by swearing like the writer of this message.
You may be, as my husband says "the kind of people who don't know much but think they do and are therefore fun to wind up' but I will do my utmost to persuade him to stop wasting his time debating with you. And to the rather silly man who called him an 'old git"-he is in far better shape than you will ever be and still climbs mountains in the Himalaya. You would probably collapse if you tried to get up a small hill in the South Downs .
Before you go, what's your stance on AV?
