Well, since both Luke and Leia are Jedi and thus force aware, perhaps they were able to connect emotionally with Padmae whilst still in the womb. As to why Leia can remember and Luke can't, perhaps Leia was more empathic than Luke.
Saw it yesterday. I have just one comment to make...
NOOOOoooooooooooooooooo!
I've seen less ham in a butchers.

Sod, or Murphy, is always with me.
When I forgot my clubcard everytime I go to tesco

That one can easily be solved. The new clubcards come with a couple of keyring fobs with a barcode on them which can be scanned and works just like a mini clubcard.
Well, they're quite obviously cakes as they have a sponge base and the fact that they're called Jaffa Cakes.
The fact that they're placed in the biscuit aisle in ASDA is beside the point. biggrin

There is now a sticky at the top of this page for people to post for Web Cam Fun. This is the only place these are permitted. Any Web Cam Posts in any other part of the forum will be deleted, and persistent offenders will be banned.
(Please bear in mind that there are plenty of sites out there specifically for Web Camming!!)

I think this classifies as a successful thread hijack.
Now take this thread to Orpington!

As this thread is someone redundant

Wow, I didn't know these threads could become sentient beings... biggrin
Is it just me, or has this topic been done to death.
Repeat after me:
I will use the search function before starting threads on potentially common subjects.
MS Anti Spyware is actually pretty good. Mainly because they just bought out Giant Software, the company that wrote it. Their anti-virus software should be of a similar grade, since I believe they have acquired an AV company as well. It seems Microsoft's corporate policy of "if you can't beat 'em, buy 'em" is alive and kicking.
Plus, I wouldn't be seen dead at a fancy dress party in one of those costumes. Looks nothing like a proper trooper, except for the helmet.
Besides, there's plenty of info on the net about how to create your own trooper armour.

Darth Vader: I know what Luke is getting for Christmas
Stormtrooper: Why Lord Vader how do you know this?
Darth Vader: I have felt his presents

biggrin :D :D :D
How can they justify £90 for the light sabre???? Outrageous - but they do look good...
Because it's very well made and highly detailed and a lot better than those toy ones you get at Toys 'R' Us.
OK, I'm going to have to ask a favour.
If there's anyone who's going to be passing by Norwich on the way there, could they please swing by and give me a lift?
Otherwise, I might not be able to make it.

Keep in mind that playing video games from an early age has been proven to increase your I.Q. by an average of 10points. I cant imagine watching Eastenders will add much to your Pub Quiz score..
..although I'm willing to be proven wrong..
D.

Indeed. The interactive nature of computer games helps the formation of new neural pathways in the brain, whereas sitting in front of the TV, a non-interactive, passive experience for the most part is not conducive to the formation of new neural connections.
As long as you gain some enjoyment out of them, they're not a waste of money. IMHO, the TV license is more of a waste of money as there's hardly anything decent on the terrestrial channels these days.
Yes, some computer games are aimed at kids, but I'd hardly call games like Half Life 2, Painkiller and Doom 3 kid-friendly games.
Got to say, I find the plotlines of most computer games a lot more believeable than those of the soaps these days.

(hey, would Royal Mail employ a stupid Postman!!)

 Now you've done it. You really shouldn't have asked that question...
But yes, they would hire stupid posties. Saves them having to spend money training them.
(Not that I'm saying you're one of them, you understand...)

Can someone please click on that 'Good day to die' link in VenusnMars post and tell me if it will do nasty things to my computer.....I,m dying to know what it is....

It's just a link to a thread in LMU where Venus is organising a paintball game. No damage will be done to your computer, but the same might not be said for your ego on the day...
Well, for me it has to be the original 4 finger Kit Kat. And not the ones in the flow wrap packaging, either. Bring back the foil, I say.
News just in:
Police today announced that they were following up on a lead, but it turned out they were just barking up the wrong tree.

most of essex seems to be in the list rather worryingly

And you're surprised by this? lol
I reckon we need some kind of peer review mechanism on here to weed out the crap posters. Something like .
Members would then have the ability to reward good posting by gifting karma points to the poster, but also punish those who post badly by taking karma points away. The amount of karma given/removed is proportionate to the amount of karma you have and you're limited as to how many times you can rank someone per day. This stops newbies from going on "karma bombings" and minusing karma all over the place.
Should anyone recieve too much negative karma, they're auto-banned.
Unfortunately, Norwich has been overrun with the burberry wearing neanderthals. I think most of them migrated from Yarmouth.
Nope, the award for best James Bond portrayal goes to...
Bob "Can I have a P please, Bob" Holness.
Yes, he did play James Bond.
