My kids were attending a 21st party in Merchant City when approx 50 wearing ski masks brandishing swords ran amok through the area and across into the Gallowgate

And yes I'm not proud of the action I took against the yobs in the shop I abhor violence of any sort to the point I was visibly shaken and ill the following day as the realisation that I could have been killed myself.
I have studied martial arts for 30 odd years but nothing prepares you for an all out attack like this.

Why does this beautiful city of my birth decline into a mire of sick sectarian hatred every time these two teams play football.
Not content with fighting on the park, the riots that ran through the city were nothing short of sickening.
I myself was pulled into a melee as I went into my local shop to purchase a loaf of bread.
Two local lads came into to buy cigarettes, when three yobs kicked in the glass doors, shouting abuse at the two boys. Two bottles of Buckfast wine were then smashed over the head of one of them.
It wasn't until the 16yr old daughter of the shop owner was struck and given a mouthful of racial abuse that I decided enough was enough.
Now I am a practicing Buddhist and abhor violence of any type but this got my back up and this wise old Llama became the young polished warrior he once was in days gone by. Unfortunately CCTV cameras picked me up doing my best Steven Segal act as I threw the offending yobs out of the store.
This wouldn't normally phase me, as I have been brought up with violence around me but I was very shaken through into Sunday evening.
So Glasgow city fathers, please clean up this city and stop this hatred and bile that goes on here every time two teams play football.

I have been an NTL customer since they put Analogue into the Glasgow area.
Recently I have been dogged with very poor customer service and have now switched my phone to BT, and my ISP is now Wanadoo.
I have a 1mb Broadband link with Wanadoo for a month and as I don't download that much this suits me. Yes there is a 2Gb limit but unless your downloading movies or albums or very large files then 2Gb is fine.
Incidently I still keep my DIGI TV through NTL.
Recently I have been dogged with very poor customer service and have now switched my phone to BT, and my ISP is now Wanadoo.
