Hmmmm, no replies.......strange.
Look, just to clarify things, I am not looking for an easy shag, there is plenty of guys on here looking for that, I am just after a friend to go clubbing with, yeah, I admit, I would be out with the intention of trying to pull, and at the moment, a single guy on his own is too threatening to the ladies in a nightclub, it should be a good night out.

Right, that is that point made, now onto the reason for this post.
I go out every Thursday night, first to a Karaoke gig, then I like to go to a nightclub, the problem being that I am a billy no mates at the moment, so, what I am looking for is guys or gals to accompany me to the nightclub, and if they enjoy karaoke, they could even come with me to the karaoke gig and join in or just watch and laugh at me attempting to sing.
As I said at the beginning, it is not a date, or an attempt to get sex, I just want people to come along with me so that when I do go to the nightclub, I don't look an idiot by dancing all on my own, which I tend to do.
So, if interested, gimme a shout.
P.S. The karaoke gig is based at The Sportsman in town, which is next to Chubby's, the nightclub I go to varies, sometimes it is Gatecrasher, sometimes The Plug, depends on what I manage to find open on a Thursday.

Fair enough, but, it could be looked at in a different way, the ones who cannot attend one might be able to attend the other, Saturday might be easier for some whereas Thursday might be difficult for others and vice versa.

I can understand that, but, I got nothing but, "sorry, bye" from the people who I spoke to, they didn't even give me the chance to chat to them and get a rapor going, which is the side of things I am peeved at, fair enough if they made the attempt to get to know me and felt that I was not what they wanted after that, but, to just see my photo then decide that I am not what they want, well, a little unfair I thought.

Just wanted to have a little rant and rave about something which really bugs me with people who post adverts and posts on the lets meet up forum, when people say that they are looking for someone, do they wait until they get to see the person, then, tell them that they are not what they are looking for, it is a little unfair, it just gets a guys hopes up only to have them dashed because they ain't some brad pitt lookalike, if a guy has the tackle, then what is the problem ?
I have had this done to me twice now and it is very frustrating, it is like dangling the proverbial carrot and should not be allowed.
So, people, if your going to ask for a guy to join you, be considerate and at least state your after someone who looks like George Clooney or Brad Pitt please, don't give guys false hopes.

We are all kind in here, if a little insane, best advice I can give is try making yourself known, get involved in threads on the forum, and when known on the forum, try a social or two, I myself have been to a social event and it was very friendly and nice to meet people who I have only talked to through the forum.

You will find everyone saying basically the same thing, get to know people, read a few posts that people have written, join in on a few conversations, when people start to know you, they will possibly initiate meets with you, it's all developing a rapor with people, I have been on the forums for a couple of months now and I am still getting to know people and vice versa, I myself tried the adverts on the let's meet up forum, didn't get anywhere though, mainly due to the fact that people are still getting to know me, I hope you enjoy your stay on the site and that you make some friends, we are all sane honest we are (walks away chuckling inanely).
