From glancing through the forum I noticed this thread. I can see from the thread that people have very different views, which is not surprising from the amount of people on the site.
By adding too the thread I am voicing my opinion and it might offend some people which I apologise for in advance.
Postie: Thank you for adding the link as it has brought some reality to people on the site whether they like it or not. I personally like the vivid pictures as it brings a true view on what is going on/was going on unlike the TV and newspapers (which have to stick to guidelines).
KBUK: You view is first hand so I have to bow down to you as I have no idea of what you have been through or what you have seen. I could not have done what you did and without people like you where would we all be. So thank you for the time you gave.
Libra: sorry to say this but you need to open your fucking mind up. People died on both side for their beliefs. Some paid to do a job and some fighting for what they believe in, but when it comes down to it people died in some horrific ways but due to censoring we have no idea on what actually happened.
In my view the people that took the photos are just trying to remind themselves of the harsh reality of what they are out there for and to remind the world on what is really going on. If I had the balls to be out there I would have taken pics like that just so I can look back and see what I have gone through.

Welcome back ES we have missed you, do you know if the others are on the way back. Its been boring watching the house with out you lot.
Was bored at work today and was sent this by one of my co workers, so go have fun and Spank the Gimp
Dont agree with street racing (mr Tiggs) but we have all done it at some point in time. The Southend Cruise is worth looking at, it is now an organised event, once a month and even the police turn up in Lotus, Evo 's and other high spec cars. so when they do try racing on the A127 on the way home, the police can keep up.
A lot of cars from out of town now come down for it and some of the cars are really nice, spec up kits and engines to match and some even have the sounds to match.
Personally, just give me the sounds.
The first every pocket money I got from my parents (mrs Tiggs) was when I was very very very young and got sixpence. I ran up the shops with my older sister and bought the biggest bag of penny swweets. It was HUGE.
I remember getting 8 chocolate mice for a penny. Now thats what I call value for money lol
and now I feel very very old lol

Years ago Lakeside had not been open long and I popped up there to do a bit of shopping. I parked the car in one of the multi story car parks on the roof. (where I normally park).
I came back about 2 hours later from spending all my ex husbands money, I looked round for my car and it wasnt there. I search the whole floor and after about 20 mins I called security to report that my car had been stolen.
Security came up and asked where I had parked it and I point to a car that was now in the space that my had been in. I then said the security man that I should ring my husband and let him know that my car has been nicked.
I called him and said My cars gone, its been nicked, I was really upset and nearly crying at this point. To this my husband said, WHAT, hang on and the phone went down, a few minutes later he came back and said, babe your car is still outside the house. I was now totally confused cause I could not understand how my car had ended up back outside my house.
I explained this to my husband who then called me a stupid cow, cause I had not taken my car to lakesire, I had taken his!!!!
I then looked down at where I was leaning and realised that the space that I thought my car was parked was actually my ex husbands car
Now thats BLONDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
