As my last post crashed and burned (thanks for the 3 – YES 3 replies search for “BLUE LAGOON†if you don’t believe me) It got me thinking, I have sat and watched for ages now but still can’t work it out…..

I have seen some great posts lately, loved the one about “whats on your desk†and there have been so many that make me laugh out loud, and some sad ones that really do bring a lump to my throat..
I know that I am probably opening myself up for a barrage of abuse, but go for it, one of the posts says about a baptism of fire, even if I’m slated totally, abused (oh please) and generally made fun of (I’m welsh if that’s any help) I don’t care, I just want more posts that 3 !!!!

I can see through you, and see that you were in fact doing this guy a big favour.
You knew that he had had enough alcohol, and needed no more, and you also knew that you were doing his liver a favour.
Therefore well done for your good samaritan(ness) and saving the bloke from himself.
Or else you were just being a really nasty b*stard - ha ha ha, I wish I'd have done it myself. The look on his face was probably classic !!!!!!

I obviously don't understand your plight and the depths of it from both your sides. BUT and its a MASSIVE BUT !! There is NEVER an excuse for a man to hit a woman, in fact, there is never an excuse for anyone to hit their partner.
I was in a relationship for 8 years (I am a male) and my (female) partner abused me, it started off as a punch in the back of the head and got worse each time it happened (there was a lot of time in between each incident) but as someone else on here said, the perpetrator gets "braver" each time. I NEVER hit my partner back, just accepted it, and got out of the house to let her cool off.
Eventually we split up for other reasons, but I am sure that she would have got worse.
Like I said, NEVER an excuse for it, it is totally unacceptable...............
Try and forget that this is your problem for the moment, and imagine that your closest female friend has come to you and told you that her partner had hit her, what advice would you give her?
Thinking of you, and hope whatever you decide, it is the BEST for YOU !!

Blue Lagoon has just been shown on one of the obscure cable channels, and it got me thinking about my "Sexual Awakening"
I must have been 7 or 8 and got really excited by seeing Brooke Shields boobs (especially in that scene where she steps on the fish and the bloke washes her on that altar thingy)
Well, the interesting thing was, when watching it at that tender age I only had eyes for her, but on watching it now, at the (still tender) age of 30(ish) I find I got turned on by HER and also by that virile young guy too - what a body.
