I've noticed each time we have one or two "leaving" posts in a short space of time we have nearly as many posts about the leaving threads as the threads themselves !! :twisted:
I'm guessing this whole thing can be summed up in 3 easy points:-
1) People care about those on the forum due to what a fine bunch it is and therefore post a goodbye message due the feeling of severing things.
2) The bunch see one of the fold going and and like to get one final hurrah in with them.
3) I over analyse things far too much :wink:

I have made many friends, of both sexes, from this site - and I do mean genuine friends. Most of them had become friends before I had even met them. I had no idea what they looked like but we knew that we would help each other if we could. Unless someone chooses a nickname which has clear clues as to their identity our anonymity gives us all a certain equality. We are judged on our merits and nothing else. We just need to hope that the rest of society catches up with us one day.
