The only one of those problems that would concern me is the stalker, the rest are agravations , I'm not suggesting they are not a pain in the ass , but you I am sure you are survivors , and as a team you can handle them.
I would find out all I can about this person, and then make some decisions , I think if you assume that the state will be totally incompetant at restraining them , and will pour all it's resources into helping them and hindering you , while sending the bill to me you wil be able to plan well.

Just re-read the original post , would the car not go ( possible , the roof mechanism may be interlocked to prevent operation above very low speeds )? You can keep surprisingly dry with the roof off if you keep going at above 40 MPH or so, electric windows up on you car ( Sidescreens clipped on for those of us with more traditional sports cars ) . You must have an iron will to avoid driving with the sole aim of keeping dry though and ignoring safety .

My most embarrasing moment , showing off doing a stoppie in front of the gang , including a girl I liked , and falling off, luckily the bike was only a cobbled togeher bitza and damage done was within the abilty of my extensive range of hammers to put right. Well damage to the bike , not the ego

Re bikers being over represented here , I'm not surprised as someone who is concernded to be safe and predictable is not going to be drawn to either , and most bikers will admit that the thrills from riding a bike are similar to those in sex , in fact in todays more honest emotional climate this seems to be pretty much accepted . Hi , I do hope you guys can start really talking today and work this out . Be positive, put the effort in to discover how you got here , do the right things about it and you will come out of this together and stronger . Using a professional at Relate or similar would make a lot of sense they can hold the ring in a situation where it easy to generate more heat than light .
