We were there about 8 years ago, it was OK, cheap and cheerful might describe it best.

There is a website dedicated to all the tips and tricks of getting off a speeding fine. Can't remember the name of it but a good Googleing might find it.

Loads of venues, comedy clubs, greyhound racing, 10 pin bowling, even plain old pubs!! Really depends what most people want.
As to dates, is this tied to a Saturday for everyone? Thursdays or Sundays can be good in Newcastle.
John & Shel
We would be up for stuff like that.....except not walks......please no walks......if a place does not have a four lane motorway leading to it, then its probably not worth visitiing!! biggrin

You might be a swinger, if...
your coworkers are convinced you have no social life because you always change the subject when they ask about your weekend.
when your coworkers talk about their sex lives, it takes a real effort not to yawn.
your guy friends invite you to a strip club and you ask if it would be ok to bring your wife
you''ve got a bunch of pictures of the two of you in a hotel room wearing brightly colored wristbands.
your kids see your online Christmas card list and want to know who are "two4fun", "allwaysready", "carresusboth".
your girlfriend wonders why you have both birth control pills and condoms in your purse.
your Saturday night babysitter wonders why mommy already had her coat on when she comes out of the bedroom.
your boss wonders why you''re going to Blackpool "in the middle of winter for God''s sake!"
you both wonder if the sexy lady who just walked past you would like to mess around.
you make plans to meet a "straight" couple at a nice restaurant, and realize you have absolutely nothing you can wear.
the drugstore clerk wonders what you''re going to do with four bottles of Scope, three-dozen condoms, and five bottles of Astroglide.
And the best way to tell that you might be a swinger is...
your neighbors wonder why they aren''t invited to any of your parties.
All of that is us!!!! Guilty as charged on each and every count M'Lud Does that mean we're SWINGERS????

We like Cupids as well. Problem is for us, as we have to travel from Tyneside to go to any of the good clubs, it means we have a lot of choice, ie 101, TPL, Xtasia, Cupids and Liaisons, so we don't tend to be regulars at any particular club.
We're at Liaisons tomorrow for instance, but if we were going to a club tonight it would have been either 101 or Cupids.

At clubs we have met people who had previously been neighboughs and also some who were work collegues. Had fun with the ex-neighboughs but not work collegues, that would be a really no-no. Watched them have sex mind, had to mark them down as he kept his socks on sad
We deliberately aviod responding to ads of people who live in the same town as us, tho there are quite a few who we meet and Munches and clubs who live local.

If your moving up here, you have to learn the rules.....If speaking to anyone in the South you must....
1, If anybody from the South asks what its like up North you must say its grim.
2, You must never mention that we have loads of water.
3, Pretend you are always stuck in traffic jams.
4, Don't let on about the stunning beaches and countryside.
5, Say house prices are skyhigh.
6, Most important...say everyone is dead unfriendly.
That should keep the buggers out!!!
Sorry we can't make Monday, if you had been up on Sat evening we could have met. Maybe when you are completely moved up here..

Hey Blondie,
If you had gave your credit card number at the same time you could have been sitting in the House of Lords by now.

Sounds like a great idea!!!
The masks would need a lot of thought tho....cheap cardboard ones which slip all over your face would be naff,, the latex ones of famous people are too all encompassing (ain't that a good word?) and wouldn't let you get a drink, or a kiss.
So really your looking for a mask whcih only comes down to the bottom of your nose, while being comfotable on the rest of your head, and lets you see where your going would help!

If anyone sees an emoticon which features;
an overflowing resevoir,
a freely running hosepipe,
or a lush green lawn,
can you save them for us Northerners as they will be usefull to torment our Southern friends as the summer wears on smile smile smile
John & Shel
Blonde,
The amount of time I have spent trying to get Shel to give up! She is great thro the week, only has 1 per day or so. Then when we go out on a Sat night, one every 20 min. and if I say slow down with your smoking, I'm the bad guy!
Remember at the Teeside social a couple of weeks ago? All you smokers in the kitchen and us non-smokers in the living room? Where was the biggest crowd? In the kitchen! Next time, leave the kitchen and come out where the air is clear!
Seriously, a guy from work last Dec. gave up instantly...all it took was four simple words from his doctor......"You've got lung cancer"......hasn't had a tab since!
Munches are fun, we don't want to try out a SH Wake!!
John
In a foursome sometimes its trying to watch what everyone else is doing which makes you (me) lose "interest". Just go back to concentrating on oyur own wife or just the other woman and forget the others. Life soon "perks up" agian then.

These manipulation jobs are either great or useless, depends what is wrong with you.
A friends from work suffered with his back for years, tried everything, doctors, physio, you name it. Turned out in the end to be a growth on his spine only spotted by a scanner. Had to be surgically removed.
Other people who have just pulled a muscel or whatever have had good results from manipulation.

Bloody cheap divorce that!
£6 eh, Shel, Shel dear, there something we should discuss. biggrin
John
If you really want some fun in a McDs or BKings, try negotiating the price as you place your order!! I only do it when I have the kids with me, makes them squirm with embarassment!! Great! biggrin
John
We have never had any bother either as the extra two going to a couples room ie four walzing past reception, or as booking in and taking another couple up to our room. Even had fire alarms go off and all of us have to leave the room and be counted out redface redface Still nothing was said.
If the hotel is in your home town, just say that your grown up kids are having a party at your house (assuming your old enough) and your keeping out of the way, but close enough to get home quick if needed!
John & Shel
We would also like to thank Vicky and everyone else for organising the NW Munch.
As it said on Shameless, they all know how to PARRRRRTTTTTTTYYYYY!!
Not going to mention individual people cos we met so many.
Hope no one had difficuly getting home because of the snow.
