A few years ago at SH munches it was a rule that no photos were to be taken. Same rule went at private parties we went to. And a camera at a swingers club would invite physical injury !!
Now it seems that everyone has a camera phone out at parties even when play is happening !! Makes us nervous and annoyed !!
Once your photo is taken, you have no control of where it will end up !
We would not attend any play party if we knew in advance people would be taking photos.

In another thread, Katniss mentioned donating sleeping bags to rough sleepers. Which we'd never thought of either.
There are loads of appeals for money from various charities, but maybe it might be useful if people know of non financial stuff which certain charities would love, but maybe other people wouldn't think of.
So I'll start off. But, please phone the organisations beforehand to see if they need the donations !!!
If you are getting a new carpet and you have off cuts, or your old carpet is in good nick your local cat and dog shelter would love them cut to about 1m square. They'd also want old duvets and bedding.
Unused disinfectant such as domestos would be accepted by them also.
Just make sure you don't leave with a dog unless it's a fully considered and committed planned event !!!!!!

Strange how Politicians in the West complain about the Chinese censoring Google etc. Yet today David Cameron wants Facebook to censor videos !!
But to be honest, we DO need censorship ! Problem is, who decides what to censor ? That's always been the problem ! Maybe when the Chinese are fed up with just buying our power and water industries they might buy some of our Media outlets and introduce their values to the editorial staff !
We rightly do not allow Child Porn, (and I think more could be done to stop it). And to my mind Facebook allowing beheading videos is just wrong. But Facebook say its OK as long as it is condemned by the poster / viewers, so what next ? Badger-baiting, as long the poster / viewer watches it then complain about it ?

Don't pick on other workers just because your not happy with the rewards of your job. Don't whine, do something about it !! Either go on strike and convince people that your profession is worth more money, or quit and find another job. If enough Teachers quit then the Gov would pay more to keep them.
