The problem is, when you come out with stuff the peeps find offensive or half arsed, you run the risk of being told so. And given the depth and maturity of MOST of our readers, you'll be told so mightily!
Like you say, everyone is entitled to express an opinion... to a point! But I want to make it very clear there is NO discrimination here based upon people's looks or preferences and I'll stamp on it whenever I see it or people suggesting there should be.

If it's a Fetish night, they won't let you in with normal street clothes! Contact the venue for advice on dress codes.
But beware, unless you are used to the Fetish scene, you must be prepared to be muich more liberated than in a usual swingers club. You will see people getting hurt and enjoying getting hurt. You will see people dragging other people around on a colar and lead... Personally, I love it! :twisted: But it does need to be said you need a very non judgemental mind not to appear shocked.

The Fetish scene in this country, or at least in London, has largely been spoiled by people with Punky's attitude. A true Fetishist abides by the mantra "Live and Let Live". You are compelled to play with no one present if you so desire...
I know of a Dom/sub couple in their late 70s. They hide their St Andrews cross under the bed when the grand kids come round. When they go clubbing, the love they have for each other shows and puts most 20 something clothes horses to shame.

Not wishing top steal Roger's thunder, but I've got a little dilemma like that...
Suppose you meet up with someone via this forum. Then, you realise you get on very well and decide to 'team up' for parties, etc...
But then you end up spending almost every weekend with them, you email each other several times a day and phone chat at least once - and sometimes twice or three times a day. Then you realise you hardly WANT to see other folks as you're having so much fun with your new 'partner' that you don't actually need anyone else around...
If this happens, are you a real BF/GF couple as opposed to a swinging partnership?
