The stalking laws are very new and just didn't exist back then, but the point I was attempting (badly) to make was that our personal experiences will usually affect how we make our judgements.

I think it depends on what it was that happened as to whether I'd still judge someone 20 years down the line.
There are some things that are unforgiveable no matter how much time has passed.
For example I was terrorised by a phone caller between the ages of 11 and 16. I've never found out who it was but if he came and told me now I would judge him as a nasty person.
Now to some phone calls might seem quite minor but he would phone and tell me things he had seen me do or not do etc. I kept my bedroom curtains closed for that entire period, I'm still uncomfortable with open curtains now. He terrified me and I will always judge him on that basis even though it was 20 years ago.
If we are talking about stupid, unthinking, hurtful acts, that everyone has done to someone at some point, then I would try and judge them on the current situation.
Ultimatly though, we all have our own belief systems and values and these are how we make our judgements. Other people's aren't always the same and so different judgements are made on the same information, whether that seems fair or not.

I would probably lose my job and I'd certainly be subjected to a very invasive investigation if it came out I was a swinger. That's for definite.
However, I do show my face in pics on various sites from time to time as part of me would really like to be open and upfront about it and try to remove some of the stigma attached to it.
My parents know - I told them just in case, as I didn't want it to ever come from anyone else or for them to trip over pics on the net. (They have site restrictions
)
Whilst they aren't overjoyed, they aren't judgmental and aren't concerned so long as I am happy and safe.
I fully understand why some people have to be very careful, and to be fair I have the luxury of not having children to worry about, and it wouldn't be the end of the world if I lost my job as our house is secure.
For those whose jobs are vital to them and their families I don't think they can afford to take the risk.
The media portrayal is always negative and if I was in that position then I can assure you, I would do my utmost to maintain my privacy and anonymity.

Well I've kept out of this until now as I wasn't sure where it was going at one point. I'm sorry it was felt that the jigpics had to go as they really aren't anything to do with munch behaviour in general.
What can I say - I'm flucked for attending munches as it currently stands, my behaviour isn't bad but my clothing is nearly always over the top. I don't flash as such, but I'm sure many people think I'm more naked than I usually am, if you know what I mean.
I also think you need to be careful about who's local pub you use to set the boundaries, we don't all drink in the same type of pub :lol:
My clothing, some snogging, over the top of clothing bum grabs, and tail and boob flashing all happen in my local.

We are all adult and as such should be able to moderate our behaviour to accomadate a few rules/laws and behave in a socially acceptable manner.
I really don't think that increasing the rules and trying to enforce them will have much effect. Those who chose to perform sexual acts would probably do it anyway and I seriously doubt that a long list of rules about basic social behaviour will inspire new people to attend munches.
I'd be wondering why they had to be so restrictive in the first place and would find it a bit worrying.

I don't drink tea or coffee and never have. I do have the odd hot chocolate but mostly stick to water.
If I want a fizzy drink I have shandy bass or lucozade if I'm feeling yuk.
If I do have something (VK) with caffeine in it my body reacts immediately. It's like I've overdosed on pro plus and it keeps me awake for ages.
Good for parties, bad for workdays :lol:
Stick with it if you can, you are defintely better off without it.

Ooo Timmy has just walked in from getting petrol and bought me a 4 layer scented candle - toasted hazlenut, frosted vanilla, chocolate coffee and ginger pear . I'll let you know if it's nice :D
