Before finding SH and having very good response - we advertised in a "mag" - and had, erp, crap response.
We're happy to reply to emails etc - but are stuck about a particular reply:-
1 - It was sent 6-7 weeks after ad went in.
2 - It is from Cxxxx and Jxxxxx (couple) - but reply envolope is to E Mxxxxxxx (No common abreviation to Cxxx or Jxxxxx is)
3 - Reply is to a PO box (is this normal for postal replies?)
4 - Photos seem amature but are in black & white.....
5 - Only availble during day (is this normal for couples??)
6 - travel or hotel only.
Anyway photo & letter is good, but it is worrying us as it doesn't feel "personal".
Wot u think? Is this normal or would you consider it to be a con?

Having only over been to Chameleons once, and thoroughly enjoyed it - such a relaxed/unpressured and fun environment.
On the clubs & parties page there are quite a few other clubs etc, but none have the number of reviews anywhere near Chams!
So - is Chams unique in size/environment, or are they just lucky with advertising! And is Manchester area the swinging hub of UK!?
We'll probably keep with Chams for a while - but it'd be nice to have more reviews and details on all the other clubs to allow us to compare from afar!
Until then tho' - better the devil we know!

We thought the same before we put photos on our ad - but decided if our friends were into this life and saw it, then so be it! They''re hardly likely to tell anyone! It'd be nice to have a chat and compare notes anyway!!

Thanks! We had a great time - but didn't do anything "out of the ordinary" - and didn't play with anyone (invited but declined). So we had a great time and are looking forward to exploring more next time!
Its such a great place for a "first date" rather than round someones house!!
We're still the "shy" type - so didn't socialise much
Though we were having some action wuthin 15 mins of walking in! VERY SURPISED at that!!!

We went to chams for the first time on Saturday - the first time we've done ANYTHING like that!
We had a great time.
At home after, we both said we were so pleased with the experience, and weren't embarresed or ashamed at all. So though no one knows, if asked directly by someone who wasn't asking to take the piss - then we'd tell them. It took us months of research and chatting to find out what it was really like - and then realised it was safer & better!
We both have pierced nipples which we thought would be deadly embaressing to tell people; but blokes are impressed and women are really interested! Haven't told (many) about PA and VCH yet! However, parents are none the wiser till we holiday with them in Aug!!!
Our advice - be happy & proud - and if you are happy - tell 'em!
PS - I think most negative views are due to the press giving a bad name rather than the reality of the situation...
PPS - who am I to say - we're still 100% novices! ;)

Just reading whats been said here and clearly we've missed your ad. We've had a couples ad for ages, and only recently made real progress! 79% idiots, 10% nice but not for us, and 10% nice and then don't like us, and 1% nice all round!! So its not just F ads that get it.
Please don't give up though!! We don't know anyone on the forum from adam ( :cry: ) - but you are here because you want to be - so enjoy it! And ignore the trash out there.
We'd give you an encouraging hug if we could - but truth be told we're too knackered!

Well - thats the cherry popped so to speak - we went there last night and had a really good time - though both nackered today!
Didn't play with anyone else (offered - but politely declined - sorry it it was anyone here!) - but enjoyed ourselves with each other in the environment.
I know everyone told us, but we didn't "fully" believe - but the place is so relaxed its unreal. 10 mins of embarresment getting undressed and walking around, then 10 mins in the orange room and soon inhibitions are lost!
Only dissapointment is that we are still quite shy of talking to strangers in the bar area - I mean its not often you go into the bar with some of your bits hanging out and chatting people up is it? Well not for us anyway! We'll need to improve here! Chatted briefly to a nice couple as we left - but that was about it.
Really friendly/safe/unstressed and fun place!
We'll be going back when time allows!! And if time is right we'll hope to enjoy some soft playing!
...just got to work out how to keep stamina (& everything else) up....! :shock:

We're off to Chameleons in the near future (couple) - and have been hunting around for tips! We've also been lurking in the chatroom and chatting to regulars for some tips - but its always hard to get a low down. It also occurs to us that others may have the same questions.....
We've read the advice on the informaiton section too!
So - once we walk in the doors - what should we expect!? Get changed and enter the new and scary world...............

So the sort of questions we have are:-
- what do we do when we get in?
- if
a couple want to play, how do you set the groundrules!? (e.g. soft play only!)
- if you only soft-play (play/maybe oral etc) - are you expected to complete the job - or is just playing okay?
- erm, what happens after playing? showers/loo/boxes of tissues & bins etc! ( :shock: )
- we've heard of jacuzzi etiquate - what is this?
We're sure this is all obvious - and everyone says "go with the flow" - but we expect a little nerves as we draw up in the carpark!!
Advice or links to manuals welcome!
