Hello Will,
Although we've never exchanged the written word I've followed your reports of the last few months with great interest and much caring that all goes well. I'm so very happy to read that your twins and Mum are healthy and look forward to tales of the christening, first days at school, teasing boys, marriage and their children... Wow... that's one way to imagine the next quarter of a century just flying by!
Sincere congratulations!

It will probably only be myself who comes into the forum as my husband is Computer Incompatible....lol, but he will of course be involved socially if and when this happens.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.... drinks are on me!! xxxxx

Hiya Ms Amber...
Welcome to the mad house... I hope you have the same experience that I've had on here and that is one of compassion and understanding to newbies who have yet to dip their toe... as it were...
Go at your own pace and you'll find the exact right person you can trust to venture into this lovely world...

But surely personality in the broadest sense shows itself in the way someone looks, I mean in their gestures, body language, the look in their eyes, and in a host of other indefinable ways. Yes, of course I am often attracted by the way someone looks, but i couldn't begin to analyse what it is that attracts me.

I couldn't agree more with you Mike... GT and I went to the wedding of his ex at the weekend and a great time was had by all... lovely day it was - but I digress... I met one of GT's oldest girlfriends and she was an absolute howl. Did the best impression from Acorn Antiques of the old waitress 'two soups' - the character's name escapes me currently... she had me in stitches!
The point is that if you just saw a photograph you'd see a middle aged lady who dressed older than her years and you would be forgiven for writing her off as a complete 'has been'... However, in real life... what a woman!
Hiya Calista babes... purlease keep me in touch about dis one... and like I said earlier if ya needs a bed just let me know! smile

pablum PAB-luhm, noun:
Something (as writing or speech) that is trite, insipid, or simplistic.
I wonder what to Google means... ;-)

Graham and I have his daughter and a friend staying the weekend and I wondered what you guys might be a classic St George's day dinner that would appeal to two teenagers.

I am obviously attracting a better class of one liner pm's:
Go green ladies! :smug: lol

Absolutely I'm green, perhaps that's why I don't get any PMs at all... lol I must try a different brand of make up! wink Either that or I'll have to flash me tits! redface

I've 'spoken' to Clare and established the culprit - at least the one who PMd her - and deactivated him.

Ooh I just love the way that you made that sound like you gave me a good telling off  :jagsatwork:
dunno dunno
I said 'spoken' as it was by PM rather than by phone!!
:P
Awwwwww poor Clare... smile It's horrid when you intend something to be humerous and it isn't understood. I laughed when I read Clare's comment 'cos it tickled my sense of humour. I did understand where you were coming from and know you meant nothing but good things from it... Maybe it is an East Midlands sense of humour! wink

Pretty is good. I personally prefer people with a good grasp of their native language, though.

LOL! Now that's funny!
Chuckles and returns to cooking roast pork etc...
I'm a linguistic thinker apparently!
Tend to think in words, and like to use language to express complex ideas.
Are sensitive to the sounds and rhythms of words as well as their meanings.
I'd be good as the following...
Journalist, Librarian, Salesperson, Proof-reader, Translator, Poet, Lyricist.

There was a good film about Diana's life after the split up with Charles. In it there is a scene. It is Christmas and she is all alone and unhappy. But when she rings her kids, she has music playing in the background and pretends that she is having a fabulous time celebrating with friends. I was very touched by that scene because I believe it truly captured the essence of Diana - a truly selfless person who loved her children to bits.

Hiya Tania smile
Call me a cynic but it seems to me that allowing herself to be filmed on Xmas Day in this manner is so flippin' manipulative it's not true... Please believe me... I do share some of your concerns about the treatment of her but she was not a saint!
She is a product of a family who's members would not communicate with each other for months and months. She herself hadn't spoken to her Mother for ages and hadn't made up at the time of her death... That is not the actions of a caring and forgiving person... Her own brother has spoken of times when she ignored him for ages and returned his letters... purlease! ;-)
I bet she was hard work and high maintenance!
Quote by Tania
The public cannot and will not forget how this woman was wronged. Consequently whatever Charles does will always be met with disapproval. After all heaven and hell are here on earth...

I agree that the POW should never have married Lady Di... a total mistake from start to finish... I think they thought they loved each other but they had so little in common... I read a great French Proverb today which is so true in my experience...
True Love is Friendship set on fire!..
However she wasn't wronged... the relationship went wrong... how would we all handle such a thing with the whole world staring? People have flaws and that includes Royality and Nobility... A little forgiveness and the removal of rose coloured spectacles wouldn't go a miss...

Last April we were in LaLa Land and I went paddling in the sea. The locals thought I was barmy as it was a 'freezing' 23 degrees C.
Good to have you home, Wibbs.

Thanks Vix smile They really do have a different concept about what is warm don't they... the lucky buggers! LOL

but glad you are back... hope you had a nice day and got fries with everything.... lol
sean xxxxxxxx

LA LA land is quite amazing... an experience not to be missed! This is my fifth visit and I'm never failed to be impressed with the lifestyle...
Their petrol prices are ridiculously cheap and they think they have it tough... I soon explained to them what a high cost of living is really like... then I had to get accostomed to the pitying looks...
There was an earthquake while I was there... albeit a tiny one... the building I worked in is on rollers and it swayed a tad... interesting... confused
With regard to food... we were lucky in that we were taken out to dinner most evenings by the directors of the company we went to see... fantastic restaurants... the best one was The Crustaceaen in Beverly Hills... the walkway through the restaurant consists of thick glass with fish swimming below... so cool! cool
Hiya chaps and chappesseseseses...
Flew to LA on March 17th and returned today... safe and sound but with a cough... grrrr... Business and pleasure... both good...
Normal service returns forthwith... ie... not much then... lol
Wibbly and GT
This made me laugh cos we ordered a curry last night... the menu consisted of...
Poppadums
portion of Onion Bhajis
" Samosas
" Chicken Tikka (only 4 small pieces)
Meat and Chicken Balti
A Curry Special ( )
1 Pillau Rice
1 Peshwari Nan Bread...
We ate the pops and starters... couldn't eat any more...
Had a chat and then went to bed and had fantastic 'top five' sex... smile
Sooooooo... we have the remainder of the feast to eat shortly... don'tcha just lurve microwaves...
I wonder if this means we'll have as good a sex session tonight!?
:silly:
Does curry effect others in such postive ways?

Interesting article on BBC Health news page
Commences...
Many people who experience health problems after having an intimate body piercing do not seek medical help, research suggests.
Ends on...
"For instance there are issues such as whether it is safe to use condoms with pierced genitals."
funny this - GT and I were only discussing this last night... I love swallowing him... I like to get my own back and torment him with marmite smile

don't worry about it wibbly... i have a degree in maths and i having touble working it out.... biggrin biggrin reese... if we do it in tablespoon that might be easier.... a tablespoon is 1 think 10 ml.....
so how many tablespoons would make up the average..... at this rate we will all be reaching for the measuring jugs...
sean xxxxx

I just read this;
Each millilitre of semen normally contains at least 20 million sperm and can contain up to 100 million
The average ejaculate is about 5 ml (a teaspoonful) and contains about 300 million sperm
Semen is made up of 5% sperm from the testicles, 35% fluid from the prostate gland and 60% fluid from the seminal vesicle glands
Ageing is one of the commonest reasons for a decrease in the amount of fluid produced when you ejaculate.
Men aged 20–30 years typically ejaculate
Men aged 30–50 years typically ejaculate
Men aged 60–70 years typically ejaculate 2ml.
Men older than 70 years typically ejaculate just over 1ml.
These figures come a survey published in Human Reproduction 2003;18:447–54 and they are averages, so some men in each age group will produce a lot more and some a lot less.

How much is alot ? loon

Hmm. For the sake of argument, let's say that the average volume of ejaculation is approximately ten cubic centimetres and, for the sake of argument, consider "large" and "small" to be any amount which deviates more than 20 percent above or below that statistical mean, respectively. rolleyes
~Reese! lol
I have to be honest about failing my Maths 'O' Level spectacularly but surely the average cannot be ten cubic centimetres! That's one hell of a big cube and if that is your average you could be making a flamin' fortune! biggrin
