Bye Neil,
nobody is indispensable. ....so we`re led to believe. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.....how big will the whole be though now?
we`ve enjoyed your posts and your presence..shame you didn`t let the cloud pass over.

Agree with all the above reference socializing however regarding your actual ad it does say at the beginning of the ad section ; "it is not necessary to publish a photo with your ad in this section, however doing so will improve your results."
A percentage of interest is generated by text and a percentage generated by a picture. As mentioned earlier in this thread there maybe literally thousands of ads with appealing text but it would be impossible to correspond with all of them in the hope that there would also be aesthetic appeal.
A picture, whilst by no means proof of genuineness, certainly helps focus and use time more effectively. It doesn`t have to be indiscreet. If for example we were particularly interested in meeting a couple who share a love of tattoos/muscles/bbw etc etc etc then a thoughtful picture on an ad would help to focus time better . There are many out there (us included) who have no idea at all what "very attractive" means. dunno
Hope this helps and welcome by the way wave

Hi S&A, looks like this post somehow slipped through the net ! Or maybe got moved
Hiya anyway wave , enjoy your stay and enjoy the discussions, humour and even the irony that currently prevails. confused

steve, its much harder to take you seriously now weve witnessed you obliviously groping around by our feet looking for money that wasnt there dunno lol Actually it was funny and yes clearly you are being serious on this thread. In which case , the way we understand it is that we can still look forward to your oft thought provoking threads..albeit with reduced frequency sad

We just hope that the hospitality we have felt continues as for us its either Nightingales or no club at all.

Might just have to meet you at gales sometime then cool
Rainbows we love the place. No better way to burn off an all you can eat , WARNING!!! Dont be conned by the "all you can eat for a tenner" boast. We went back to our favourite restaurant and the con artists made us pay ANOTHER tenner!!!................................... wink
Gales has everything from retrogames (phoenix, pac man etc) to pop chart music, live music...club/dance up the top, and not forgetting of course the sedate sounds from the transvestite pianist...we spent hours chilling to that on our last visit.
Not sure when we are next going but I think we ought to let you know when we do x

Personally i had a great night in Birminghams gay quarter with my lovely partner looking for a lesbian / bi lady to join us but i guess some people aren't as tolerant as me. By the way we didn't suceed but we did have a nice night with lovely company

Same here. Weve had several fantastic nights around there. To be honest though If I was gay I would feel uncomfortable with so called " tourists" and its difficult to distinguish between tourists and those who GENUINELY love the atmosphere and feel.
We just hope that the hospitality we have felt continues as for us its either Nightingales or no club at all.
Maybe its being on wind up (dial up)? We are broadband and never have a problem logging into msn or ?
Thinking about it and observing some of your thoughts, many people here seem to be very "in-tune " with eachother (including us I think), therefore the suggesting or indeed the DOING rather than suggesting (surreycouple, vix, lol) was never going to smash the planet into smithereens.

Lil bunnys` thread about the "new me" and her partners reluctance (?) to experiment has got both of us wondering. confused
For the couples out there who did not meet or have any history in the "scene" as it were ......... WHO broached the subject first? redface
We are guessing its highly unlikely that the idea to experiment came like a bolt from the blue at exactly the same time for both? We are also guessing there were one or two minor caualties and disagreements (particularly as there are many couples on here who do NOT experiment) .
Are there any current singles who had the discussion in previous relationships aswell?
In reference to an earlier thread about whether women swung more in the 60`s, our guess is that with PCs now a part of household furniture and late night browsing the norm, the question of experimenting is "posed" on almost every adult website therefore desensitising us to the idea and diluting the question for the one who raises the subject? dunno
Intruiged foxys x
Me to...babysitting kids and a couple of cats....

Until I can walk through town after 6 without fear I will not vote.

Perhaps self-defence training ? One of the odder arguments I've heard for disenfranchising yourself confused
JonJon , the point is that Blair (labour really) stole the middle ground in the mid 90s. So we now have 2 candidates to chose from every few agree on mixed model economics. There is nothing to seperate them really on health, education, euro policy etc etc.
Both parties will "argue" these points out within confines but to me I believe for 99.9% of the people law and order and the way its going is a HUGE concern and the party who PROPERLY addresses this point will get my vote. I dont give a flying one about my bank account if I or any of my family can not live life without fear. For the record ALL of my immediate family is trained...my mum and grandmother aren`t though.

[I certainly don't disagree with you there ... but before we start feeling superior here ... in about 6 months time, I reckon the UK equivalent voters will vote Blair back in too !!! Somehow I don't think the fact that pensions have been decimated such that we'll all be forced to work till we drop dead, that the NHS is no better run/funded than 10 years ago, that petrol tax has gone up and up, that we now live in far more dangerous times than we did a few years back has got through to some people yet!
Very depressing times ahead ... :-(

Jedi, do you really see any clear blue water? One plundered pensions, the other escalated fuel tax. dunno
One suggested war, the other advocated :dunno:
Thatcher v Foot
Thatcher v Kinnock etc
Politics is so boring now.
Personally, I agree with you. Until I can walk through town after 6 without fear I will not vote.
Not really bothered. I dont think they were diametrically opposed on any major issues (broadly I think Kerry voted for military action )
2 candidates to vote for every few years....yep thats democracy and`ll keep em quiet.

Computers - Male or Female? (?)
Recently, a group of computer scientists (all males)
announced that computers should also be referred to as being
female. Their reasons for drawing this conclusion follow:
Five reasons to believe computers are female:
1. No one but the Creator understands their internal logic.
2. The native language they use to communicate with other
computers is incomprehensible to everyone else.
3. The message "Bad command or file name" is about as
informative as, "If you don't know why I'm mad at you, then
I'm certainly not going to tell you".
4. Even your smallest mistakes are stored in long-term
memory for later retrieval.
5. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find
yourself spending half your paycheck on accessories for it.
However, another group of computer scientists (all female)
think that computers should be referred to as if they were
male. Their reasons follow:
Five reasons to believe computers are male: ( for the sake of balance :scared: )
1. They have a lot of data, but are still clueless.
2. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half
the time they are the problem.
3. As soon as you commit to one you realize that, if you
had waited a little longer, you could have obtained a better
model.
4. In order to get their attention, you have to turn them
on.
5. Big power surges knock them out for the rest of the
night.

Im a little surprised to find that people believe Bush has any more real power over decisions than Blair over his perm secretary...or more realistically Hacker over Humphrey.

I agree with you marmalade.
The munch isn`t the root cause for some of the very sad posts appearing at the moment (sad as in sad ...not the Harry Enfield version)
It HAS contributed to the apparent tree shaking that is happening. It was a powerful night, the atmosphere was actually tangible from the moment we arrived and I imagine for many it has been rather similar to sitting on a some sort of rollercoaster.
Most people do tend to get off and run straight back to the queue though ...for better or worse confused
<<<<< Oh dear, weve come to far with this bogus version to turn back now.
Wow, did four hours ever flash by so so fast.
So many people we would love to have met properly but didnt.( our own fault for being so unintentionally insular, still guess thats what "next munches" are for smile ) We really cant think of ANYBODY we wouldn`t like to have met.
Thank you to those of you who put up with us and we were thrilled to meet those we did meet....plus a special thank you from mrs foxy who tends to watch the cafe from the side but felt so at home last night.
Well done to Clare and Steve, you should feel proud of the amount of fun youve injected into peoples lives. Not just the night itself but also the looking forward to and the reminiscing....and then the looking forward to again........
