Its a sign of the times.
All this is due to the law being the way it is. You can't even make an angry face at them. There'll be some lefty/psychologist saying your causing them some sort of emotional trauma. I think they don't have anything better to do so come up with all these new conditiuons/complexes etc.
It'll only get worse from now.

Wow. Nobody told me about that. B12- a legal way of getting a high!
Right I'm off to the healthstore straight away!

Its the injections that do it, and they arent available at the health food store, if they were id have bought them in bulk.
According to my GP the injections change hands on the black market for quiet a good sum!!
Nah, I think your G.P was pulling your leg. If people wanted to get a high illegally, they'd go for stronger stuff. The injection is only given to overcome problems with G.I absorption (intrinsic factor deficiency). But still the active ingredient Vit. B12 is the same.
The reason you may feel on a high is that your used to lower oxygen levels, the B12 only takes you to what you would be like if you weren't anaemic. So for someone who is "normal" there wouldn't be any additional benefits in taking supplements (orally or i.m)

This one also got me....
Two cars start off at the same point on a straight road facing opposite directions. Each car drives for six miles, takes a left turn, and drives for eight miles. How far apart are the two cars?
* 2 miles
* 11 miles
* 14 miles
* 20 miles
* 26 miles
My intitial thought was, my answer's not there :undecided: surely it's 28 miles? confused
But then I thought, nah, maybe I should be thinking as the crow flies? biggrin dunno

No. Neither cars travel in a str8 line. Because they take a left each, you can think of them as being at opposite ends of a rectangle. 12miles by 16 miles. If you draw a diagonal line between them, you get a 3,4,5 right angled triangle. Therefore the distance between them must be 20 miles.

If you don't fancy the Butt Plug sad try incontinence products but that might be considered baby-ish :shock:

He broke his foot!
But save the butt-plug for ES biggrin
Quote by kristof
wouldnt worry too much about dvt, if its a clean break there is little risk of that
the meds are probly of the dhc family, potent as buggery, ot a naproxen based which is both pain releif plus anti inflamatory
just rest up

Depends how much inflammation and pain he's in. Sounds quite nasty from the description he gave. They'll probably give him opioid painkillers and NSAIDs for the inflammation since the NSAIDs probably won't give him enough analgesic activity.
Talking of opioids, ES having taken all those laxative chocs could probably do with a dose himself biggrin

Call me cynical, but the fact that they then tried to sell you the full report (or something) may have something to do with it?
But you may also really be a genius too!

I think the online IQ tests are a little unreliable.
Or it could be the website trying to cheer you up in the hope of flogging you something.

They did give me some nice pain killers which I've taken. God knows what they are but they work wink
Reading about the DVT I am sorry to hear everything about it. I now have brown marks down my jeans which is a new problem. I will leave that till the morning though.
Hobberlingly yours,
Mattmoleman

Curious to know, what did they give you? Pethidine tablets?
Heres a practical suggestion though. Since you have problems with your undies, how about buying brown ones in future? That way everytime you get scared, there'll be no nasty stains visible biggrin

well i have low intrinsic factor and am on b12 injections.......... but its all the side effects i dont understand. The dr tells me it doesnt effect my gums....... the dentist said they couldnt treat it until the injections had kicked in and the nurse today said the dentist can treat it as it is a symptom and i should go to them asap.

Yep, the intrinsic factor deficiency is the cause in the majority of the cases in the U.K.
I can understand your frustration, being given different messages from the HC professionals, it tends to make you doubt whether you're being treated correctly.. I think the dentist might have got it wrong. Go and see him and tell himwhat the Dr and nurse said.

Soon we will be having sex wrapped up in giant condoms.

Sounds like fun!

Dunno what you are wanting to know. Its tends to affect elderly and women (though can affect the general population too). Can have afew causes which need to be investigated. Can't really make many comments as some causes can be quite serious. Do you know what the underlying cause is?
But if you want to avoid B12 deficiency:
- Eat a varied diet. e.g liver, fish and eggs.
- Vitamin B12 is only found in food of animal origin, if your a strict vegetarian then consider taking vitamin B12 supplements.
Your not expecting a visit by your monthly friend anytime soon are you?

Apparently the only way to deal with it is to be frank with your partner and let him/her make an informed decision on how to go forward, i.e. whether to use barrier methods at all times or just certain times.

Using condoms is a good idea ayway. But if the sores are near the base of the penis/surrounding the labia, then some conatct may also occur (which condoms cant protect against).

Now my problem is this.... Can anybody get brown marks out of my underwear after what I've just read..... :shock:

Seriously, you should've gone str8 away. Its quite strange how you post here and wait for someone to respond first. The level of pain involved and the symptoms you describe should be enough for you to be worried anyway.
As for your undies, if they are white, you may have to bleach them. biggrin
(if not, then try the Daz challenge)

I myself suffer with Coldsore's.... recently had 3 in 4 weeks!!!
I rang the doctors to see if they could give me anythin for it... the receptionist booked me in...I went ot see the doc...he sat bk in his chair and asked....
"And wot do u want me to do about it"????!!!!!

Thats abit rude isn't it? Maybe someone needs to teach him some bedside manners? (wheres ES?)
There's a very serious side to cold sores.
Apart from the fact that you are stuck with them for life, any oral sex while you have the sores (and afew days after) could lead to transfering from mouth to genitals (and vice versa). Think of how uncomfortable the mouth ones are, now imagine what the genital sores will be like. For a start, sex will become near impossible.
Getting back to the serious side, if you think you are about to get one, DO NOT KISS children. If you miss the cheek and get them near their eyes/on eyes, you can serious trouble down the road. Even after many years, when the child has become an adult. The dormant virus may become activated, and travel along back to the eye (site of initial transmission). If any damage occurs to the cornea, then that person could then lose sight in that eye (or need a cornea transplant).
Well I think we'll leave it here. The final word going to ES.

rotflmao :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
Next you'll be saying that road tax is only used to improve roads, and national insurance is used only for the NHS biggrin
Some of that money is used to place more speed cams in silly places. While the rest goes to the council and the police I think. In this country, we get shatfed at every opportunity (unfortunately though- only in financial terms sad )

You are right about me misunderstanding. kiss
I agree that there are some places that are high risk areas and nothing is done to encourage drivers to keep their speed low. Speed humps are more effective in certain areas as they force you to go about 20mph or less cos they will destroy you car if you do any more than that. But on the other hand, what about emergency services? Speed humps everywhere would slow them down and make the services slow to arrive.
I think the only real solution to the problem is responsible driving.

Responsible driving?
rotflmao :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
I almost got run over while crossing at traffic lights afew weeks ago.
There will always be morons/irresponsible drivers. They are like animals that need external control. Speed cams followed by hefty fines would be good here. But speed humps are a poor choice.
They damage shock absorbers (even at lower speeds) and cause people to speed up/brake harshly (more pollution). Its not just the slowing of emergency vehicles, imagine being a woman in labour, or someone with a head injury (impalement?) and going over a hump even at slow speeds?
Hmmm............... bad idea.

We met another guy at a Travel Lodge off the M1 for MFM at the weekend. He said he would pay for the room and this time, I agreed to it. When the fun was over, hubby was in the bathroom and the guy gave me £50 which I assumed was for the room cost. I was wrong! on our way home it turned hubby told me that the guy had already given him £45 for the room when we met!
In short, that makes me a prostitute, or am I being silly?

Maybe you were so good he felt it wrong to not pay, or do the best things in life really come for free?

Veejay, I politely disagree with you.
In manchester there are quite a few in accident hotspots and one I know of right out side a school where one of my childhood friends was knocked down while crossing the road at lunch time. I welcome speed cameras cos if nothing else it makes you look at how fast you are going.
If it saves one life it's worth it.

You misunderstand me. I too was knocked over at school during luchtime, this was about 12 years ago. Still there are no speed cameras near to that school. I think all areas where there have been accidents need to have speed cams, especially near schools and parks.
If safety was really the issue, then they'd be located more appropriately.
Unfortunately, I don't think there are enough where they are needed. They are only placed in areas where they will generate revenue. In the beginning, I thought that speed cams were a good idea. But the politicians (as always) have turned a good idea into something that people despise.
I think the 30 mph limit in some urban areas is too high, a 20 mph would be more appropriate. While on some m'ways, I'd say that could be increased to about 80 mph.
